Dungeon of Oddities
1st Floor Complete

1st Floor Complete

Valoria was a bit indecisive, so she instead made both the rabbit and sheep Boss monsters. The others will have their time.

First, she would work on the Voodoo Plush sheep. First, Valoria sized him up to 6 feet tall and added some details like threads hanging off of them and two pins coming out of their head. They already looked like a pin cushion, why not go through with the look? Then came a Mana infusion to grant it a bit of magic.

The dungeon realized that increasing a mobs level was possible with Mana, but unlike most dungeons, she made her mobs in a way where they could not only respawn, but also keep their Levels after death. They could learn what worked and what didn't, they could learn skills by themselves over time! It was like they were normal monsters instead of dungeon mobs.

She had no need for leveling her creatures, she'll allow them to level on their own.

Valoria decided to use Energy Mana for the sheep. During infusion, she focused on the concept of electrical charge and the Plush's pins and needles for most of the Mana, the rest she focused on making the body as a whole more durable. The end result as follows.

Name: None

Race: Voltage Voodoo Plush (Sheep)

Level: 1/25

STR: 3 INT: 6

CON: 10 WIS: 7

DEX: 8 LUC: 10 Skills: Static Charge, Momentum, Shared Pain, Charged Plush Body, Child Care, Vengeance!,

Description: While weak at range, the Voltage Voodoo Plush can soak up damage and channel Lightning at those who hurt it.

Valoria decided against naming the Boss until his ranged rabbit was up to par. Looking at the rabbit, she decided to use her Energy Mana to imbue it with her understanding of sound and heat, along with some of her favorite musical pieces from her past. With a similar increase in durability and size, the two Bosses were almost done.

Name: None

Race: Blazing Beats Plush (Rabbit)

Level: 1/25 STR: 4 INT: 10

CON: 7 WIS: 10

DEX: 7 LUC: 8 Skills: Performance, Leap, Child Care, Vengeance!, Blazing Plush Body, Flaring Fanfare, Encore! Description: Beats Plushies are pseudo-casters, with targeted buffs. Blazing ones turn up the heat due to their music literally burning the ears of those who hear it.

The weird thing about the creation of this mob was that Valoria gained a template for a Beats Plush as well. This led to Valoria getting reminded of the shop, which allowed her to get more templates to make monsters, traps and such.

All the things she all ready made were saved as new templates, just waiting for her to use. She tested them by using the Beat Plush template. The process, however, actually made her spend Mana so she stopped and remade one by following what she did for her boss without any other than sound-based Energy Mana. After that success with no Mana lose, she added the Beats Plushies to the floor sparingly.

Valoria went to naming her first Bosses as Wooly and Rhonda, the Twin Overseers. The names granted them an ability each. Wooly, the sheep, gained the skill Needler, which after testing released a needle from his body to fire in any direction. While Ronda, the rabbit, got Bass Boost, a simple sound blast in a direction.

After Valoria gave some finishing touches to the dungeon's balance and challenges, she decided to open it for business.

Her 'opening' however, was felt for miles away. This scared most creatures any from the opening. It also attracted a few others.

POV: Adventurer's United Headquarters

Guild Mistress Marilyn Arcanon was in the process of rewarding an early Mithril Tier party for destroying a nearby nascent Lich that almost threatened the capitol of Chilledona while she was away when she felt it. The opening of a newborn dungeon.

This was in equal parts great and bad. Great, because depending on the dungeon and what it dropped as loot, it could inject the Chilledona Kingdom's economy with a well needed boost and if she could feel it from the castle, the royals and nobles could to.

It didn't even matter if they were to go first, as standard procedures stated that the AU would make contact with the Dungeon before anything to tell it's intentions.

She noticed that the team also noticed the Dungeon and snapped her fingers for their attention. "Hey, how about another job for double the pay?"
