Aaron left the room and I closed the doors. I took off my robe and the scroll fell out to the ground. I picked it up and went towards my bed and sat cross-legged. 

"Let's see what you are" 

I opened the scroll, but it was blank ‘What is this?’ I thought before the scroll started to glow and blind my eyes. 

I let it go and held my hands over my eyes which started to cry "What the fuck was that!?" I said and opened my eyes.

Gone!

The scroll was gone. I checked under me and the bed as well as the sides, but I could not find the scroll anywhere.

"Who took it?" I said as I frowned 

"Hello, kid" 

I heard a voice inside my head "Who is it?"

"I am the spirit of the scroll you opened" It voiced

I looked around the room and saw that there was no one there "The scroll? Where are you?" 

"I am inside of your Dantian"

"My Dantian?"

"Yes, the cave in your Dantian!" 

"How do I get to my Dantian?"

"Are you telling me you don't know how!?"

"Should I know?"

"How the hell did you open me if you don't even know that!?" 

"Well, I opened you like any other scroll" 

"Forget it. Sit cross-legged and close your eyes" 

I went to my bed and sat on top of it cross-legged and closed my eyes "What now?"

"Calm yourself down and try to find your meridians by thinking of veins"

I did as it told me and thought about long red veins and then I saw 4 long veins in front of me. This is the first time I have seen this before.

"What do you see?"

"I see 4 long veins" 

"How do the veins look like?"

"One of them is in the shape of a sword. The other 3 are in the shape of a long line with red, black, white and blue colors"

"Quickly, enter the sword-shaped vein!" I heard both impatience and excitement in its tone. 

I entered the sword-shaped vein and my body started to hurt like hell. I gritted my teeth and waited for the pain to leave.

After what seemed like forever, the pain stopped and I arrived in front of another 12 sword-shaped veins 

"How many veins do you see?" I heard the voice again.

"I see 12 veins"

"Good. Now, try to enter one of them and follow the road it is going" 

"Will it hurt again?"

"No, it only hurts the first time"

I entered one of the veins and followed the road it showed me until I arrived at a cave-like place.

In the cave, I saw a 1m red sword floating inside of it

"You are a sword?"

"That's right and I am the strongest at that!" I could hear the arrogance in his tone.

"Then, how did you enter my body?"

"You opened my seal and absorbed me"

"You mean that mark on the scroll?"

"Yes, that one!" 

"Why were you locked up?"

"You don't need to know"

"Then, what purpose do you serve?"

"I just told you I am the strongest weapon, didn't I?"

"So, I can use you"

"Not yet, you need to get stronger in order to use me"

"So, until then, what can you do for me?"

"I can help you get stronger"

"How will you do that? You’re just a sword"

"I have the knowledge that can help you get stronger"

I thought about it.

"So, can you tell me how to enter the Mortal rank?"

"You are already at the Mortal rank" 

"What!?"

"When you entered that sword-like vein, your body started to change and get stronger which allowed you to enter the Mortal rank"

"Why did you tell me to enter the sword-like vine instead of the other 4?"

"Because in order to make you able to use me, you need sword meridians" 

"Is there another reason for it?"

"Don't worry, you will know the answer sooner or later. Just make sure that you don't tell anyone about the sword-shaped vein"

"WHY?"

"Just do it and make sure to tell them you have a white meridian; This will help you from getting too much attention"

"And what if I want to be in the center of attention?"

"You die!"

‘Looks like there is more to this than I thought, huh’ I thought

"How do I get out of here?"

"Instead of leaving, why don't you start your training here?"

"And how do I do that?" 

"What do you feel around your body right now?"

I opened my senses and sensed tiny sharp things around my body. 

"Sharp things?"

"It's called sword energy and that's the energy you will need to advance ranks in the future"

"What do I do with it?"

"Try to absorb it, let it enter your body" 

I let go of my guard against this thing and it entered my body at an astonishing speed. It flowed through my sword vein into the 12 smaller veins.

It advanced to the cave I was in with the sword and entered the door behind the sword. I could feel that this energy entered every single blood cell, muscle and bone in my body making them a lot stronger than they were.

I looked towards the sword "What do I call you?"

"Dyton"
