~Royal Capital, Blare~

Somewhere in Blare, there was a gathering of a small group between 10 people.

Everyone in the group was sitting at a table, most of the people there seemed to be between the age of 50-80 years old expect for the youth in the main seat, who seemed to be in his twenties.

"Why shouldn't we help him? With his talents and a little guide we will be able to make him stronger really fast! " one of the old men on the right side of the table said.

"We can't! If we try to help him out the other factions might come at us together, let him grow stronger on his own if I am right then it won't take long" The youth in the main seat said to the people around the table.

"The headmaster is right, he has already master mastered the 'Sidestep Sprint', 'Arrogant Groom's Body' and the 'Thirty Rabbits Sword Thrust' in just 3 months, the fact that he already mastered the 'Sidestep Sprint' should mean that he is already at the ninth mortal rank, let's give him more time to break through to the king rank before inviting him" the old lady of the group said, if Vlad was here he would have known this old lady was the one he had met in the dragon pavilion.

"Fine, let's give him 2 years" the youth said as he stood up and left the room, everyone else also stood up when they saw the youth leave.

It's been 3 months since I have come to this sect. 

So far everything has gone smoothly, I have trained all the techniques I had. Thanks to them my body has gotten a lot stronger and the time I spent on breaking through the stages was little. 

I am now in the peak of the ninth mortal rank.

Previously it took me 1 month just to get to the second stage but now in just 3 months I have already progressed by leaps and bounds.

Even if I meet someone who is at the 1 stage of the king rank, I know I would be able to take them down, of course, I would have to use everything I got including the sword energy, that's the difference between someone in the king rank and someone who is not.

In the past 3 months, I have looked for Noe but I couldn't find a trace of her, I have asked around if someone knew anything relating to her.

I found out a lot of things also a place where I might find her.

It looks like as long as you reach the king rank you will become an inner disciple, which means that you would live in the mountains we saw when we got here.

There is a system in the sect, which is that the outside disciples  all have to be at the Mortal rank.

All the inner disciples have to be at the King rank.

While the core disciples have to be at the Emperor rank, and then we have the sect leader who is at the Immortal rank along with the other faction leaders.

Most of the elders in the sect are at the Emperor rank which means they are either core disciples or not.

Achieving the King rank only allows you the opportunity to become an inner disciple. To become one, you must defeat an existing inner disciple.  Losing the challenge means you are forever barred from attempting the challenge again. The defeated, should they be powerful enough, become elders in the lesser sects of the Blare branch.

So whether Noe is still here or not depends on whether she beat an inner disciple and took his place.

The only way to find out is to become an inner disciple.

'How do I break into the king rank?' I asked Dyton 

'Just the way you broke through all the other stages of the mortal rank'

'That easy?'

'For you it is, but for everyone else who has to wait until their own body is ready to take on the massive pressure from entering the king rank, has to work really hard to make sure their body get's stronger'

'Now close your eyes and start absorbing the sword energy' Seria said 

I closed my eyes and sat down cross-legged, now I know why people when meditating sit like this, it helps make absorbing the sword energy quicker.

I start to absorb the sword energy around me.

1 hour!

2 hours!

3 hours!

4 hours!

5 hours!

10 hours!

14 hours!

~Rumble

The air around me starts to tremble along with every cell in my body, the cells in my body turn from red to blue as they have taken in the maximum amount of sword energy they could hold.

~Crack!

My bones start to crack as they became harder and bigger.

Every part of my body was in pain.

"GRRR!"

I let out a growl as I could feel something coming out of my skin, my body was transforming from head to toe.

The process continued for hours and the pain got worse and worse.

In the dark where Vlad was, it had changed into a place that looked like wild animals tore everything apart. On the side, you could see a red creature. 

Calm pearly eyes sit lightly within the creature's angular, bony skull, which gives the creature a threatening looking appearance.

Several crystal growths sit atop its head, just above its small, angular ears. A row of small crystal growths runs down the sides of each of its jaw lines.

Its nose is long and has two thick, angular nostrils and there's a small horn on its chin. Rows of sharp teeth poke out from the side of its mouth and give a slight hint at the terror hiding inside.

A lean neck runs down from its head and into a narrow body. The top is covered in curved scales and rows of small crystal growths runs down its spine.

Its bottom is covered in massive scales and is colored slightly darker than the rest of its body. Four long limbs carry its body and allow the creature to stand sturdy and poised. Each limb has 4 digits, each of which end in spiny claws seemingly made of crystal.

Monstrous wings grow starting from its shoulders and end just passed its shoulder blades. The wings are somewhat triangular, the inside is almost entirely see-through, especially when viewed from a distance and curved talons grow from each ending like giant scythes.

Its graceful tail ends in a gentle point and is covered in the same curved scales as its body.

I open my eyes and everything changed, the way I saw the world was very colourful, despite the darkness in the room I could see everything, I felt something move on my back so I turned my head around and surprisingly I could turn my head around to the point I saw my own back.

"WHAT THE FUCK!?!"
