There are four major cultivator factions on the island of Haishan, and they each practice a different Path. To prevent unnecessary bloodshed, these four factions typically cooperate with one another, but they occasionally engage in some minor conflict. All four factions are aware that the Shigong Sect is the strongest, so it sometimes operates as an arbiter when two of the clans become embroiled in a conflict.
