Hello
Krillin was scrolling down the news when something caught his eye. "Hey, Master Roshi!" he called out, a tremor in his voice. "Could you turn on the TV?"
----------------------------------------
A crowd had gathered around two freshly made craters. Suddenly, the two pods within the craters began to open. Two imposing figures emerged, their presence immediately sending a chill through the air.
Vegeta and Nappa stood tall, breathing in the fresh air of Earth after a long journey.
"Aliens!" a man exclaimed, his voice trembling with fear.
Nappa smirked, reveling in the fear and attention.
Both Vegeta and Nappa floated upwards, effortlessly landing on the intact side of the road.
The crowd gasped. What did the aliens just do? D-did they fly?!
----------------------------------------
Krillin and Master Roshi sat frozen in front of the TV screen.
"Are you thinking what I am thinking?" Krillin asked, his voice barely a whisper.
Master Roshi nodded, his expression grave. "Yes. There's no mistaking it. It's the Saiyans."
----------------------------------------
A brave reporter, his hands shaking, approached Nappa and held out the mic. "Hello, mister. What brings you here to our planet? Our viewers would like to know..."
Nappa chuckled, a dark gleam in his eyes. "Just wanted to enjoy some scenery."
The reporter forced a grin, trying to mask his fear. "You sure have come to the right place!"
The crowd, momentarily lulled by the casual exchange, began to relax.
Vegeta glanced at Nappa, annoyance flickering across his face.
"Oh yeah," said Nappa, pressing a button on his scouter. His eyes widened slightly as multiple readings flashed across the device. "Would you believe it? There are almost half a dozen fighters with power levels near a thousand on this planet."
Vegeta smirked. "Interesting..."
"Yeah," agreed Nappa. "When Raditz was here, Kakarot was at 450 and he was their strongest fighter."
"Yes. It's apparent, Nappa. They've been preparing for us."
Nappa chuckled, a sinister edge to his laughter. "So does that mean we are finally going to get a challenge, Vegeta?"
Vegeta chuckled in reply. "Well, don't get your hopes up. You know a few power levels of a thousand are nothing compared to us."
The media personnel exchanged uneasy glances, unable to comprehend the conversation.
The reporter looked back at Nappa. "Sir, do you happen to be entering the annual wrestling competition on our planet?" he asked, desperation creeping into his voice.
Nappa grinned, a predator savoring his prey. "Well, not exactly a wrestling competition..."
Vegeta scoffed. "Cut it, Nappa."
Nappa's expression turned serious, a cold, deadly seriousness. "Now, if you may excuse us..."
The reporter sensed the shift in mood and quickly thrust the mic back towards Nappa. "Well, any parting words to our viewers?"

Nappa snickered, his hand beginning to glow with gathered energy. "I have a parting gift for you!" With that, the bald Saiyan raised his hand, two fingers pointing upwards.
KRACKGH!
----------------------------------------
Krillin and Master Roshi sat spellbound in front of the TV when the transmission abruptly cut off, leaving the room in a heavy silence.
Master Roshi turned to Krillin, who was still staring at the screen, his face pale. "Come on, Krillin! Inform the others!"
...
Tien and Chiaotzu had just finished breakfast at their secluded mountain home when Tien's phone rang. The urgency in Krillin's voice was palpable.
"What's it, Krillin?" Tien asked, already sensing trouble.
...
Yamcha was out in the desert, training intensely, when he received the call. He looked bewildered as he listened to Krillin on the phone. "What do you mean, the Saiyans are here? It's only been eleven months!"
...
Yajirobe groaned and turned in his bed at Korin Tower as his phone continued to ring. "Damn you, Krillin," he muttered before putting his phone on silent and burying his head under the pillow.
...
----------------------------------------
Nappa and Vegeta stood calmly amidst the devastation. The entire city had been reduced to a massive, smoldering crater, with smoke rising from various points, ashes drifting in the wind. The acrid smell of burnt rubble and the faint echo of distant sirens created a haunting atmosphere.
Nappa turned to his partner. "So where do we go first, Vegeta?"
"Towards the strongest power level on the planet," Vegeta replied, his brows furrowing. "Kakarot has belittled his Saiyan heritage by choosing these pathetic earthlings over us. He needs to learn the consequences of defying his superiors."
Nappa cracked his knuckles, a wicked grin spreading across his face. "Yeah. I am gonna enjoy beating the crap out of that low-class piece of trash."
With that, the two Saiyans floated into the air, their bodies enveloped in a fiery aura. In a flash, they were gone, disappearing into the horizon.
----------------------------------------
Piccolo stood in a grassy, rocky wasteland, scanning the horizon when his phone buzzed. He read the message on his phone, his expression darkening. "Grr, the Saiyans are here."
Gohan's jaw dropped. Fortunately, the boy had fully recovered from his previous training and stood ready in a purple gi, a sheathed sword strapped to his back. "Weren't they supposed to arrive a month later?" he asked, his voice tinged with fear.
Piccolo growled, frustration evident. The worst part was that Goku hadn't returned from his special training as Khami had predicted. They would have to face the Saiyans alone. Piccolo cursed Khami under his breath. Why had the old fool sent Goku to outer space when the Saiyans could arrive any minute? Now, no matter how strong Goku had become from his 'special training,' it would be of no use!
Gohan gulped, his eyes wide with fear. The distant mountains loomed ominously, casting shadows in the early morning sun.
"Be on your guard, Gohan," Piccolo instructed, his tone severe. "I think they will be coming for us." He had a strong feeling the Saiyans would mistake his power level for 'Kakarot' again, just as Raditz had.
A sudden gust of wind whipped through the rocky terrain, and Piccolo tensed, sensing two enormous power levels. These were far beyond anything he had felt before. The ground seemed to vibrate under the immense pressure. Raditz's power level was nothing compared to these two!
"They're here," Piccolo said solemnly, looking up, his gaze piercing the sky.
Gohan looked up and saw two figures floating in the sky at a distance. The boy gasped. The silhouettes grew larger, their forms becoming clearer with each passing second. The tension in the air was palpable, the weight of impending doom pressing down on them.
Slowly, the Saiyans descended and landed before them, their expressions radiating confidence and disdain.
Vegeta smirked. "If it isn't the Namek who killed Raditz..."
Nappa looked perplexed. "What's this toad doing here? Where's Kakarot?"
Piccolo forced a grin, though his heart pounded in his chest. "Kakarot isn't around. You'll have to make do with us instead."
Nappa smiled at the news, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Where did Kakarot go? Ran away? Or is he hiding somewhere?"
Vegeta closed his eyes, his arms crossed. "I hate cowards."
Gohan, agitated by the insult, shouted, "My dad is no coward! He's on his way!"
Nappa grinned, turning his attention to Gohan. "Look, Vegeta. It's Kakarot's son. He would make a good hostage..."
----------------------------------------
Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu arrived at the outskirts of Lion City, staring in horror at the smoking ruins. The entire area was desolate. There was no sign of the Saiyans.
"No," said Tien, urgency sharpening his voice. "We have to find them quickly, or there's no telling how many more cities will suffer the same fate."
----------------------------------------
Piccolo reluctantly took out his phone, the weight of the situation pressing heavily on him. He had hoped that with all his progress, there wouldn't be a need for Goku's friends to interfere. But now, it seemed he had no choice. Piccolo tossed his phone to Gohan, who caught it. "Call Krillin. Tell him we've found the Saiyans."
Gohan looked sheepishly at his master. "I don't remember Mister Krillin's phone number, Mr. Piccolo..."
To be continued...
