Down the Deep Blue Hole
I am an evil person

I am an evil person

You see. I finished my exams (holy sacred ball-sacks they were tough) and I am now free to write however much I want. But, the issue here is, I am a tad bit too ambitious. So I ended up with like..... 5k words just describing our dear protagonist alone. In point form. You get the idea. I'm taking so much time planning that this story may not see light till Christmas. On the flip side, I will be releasing a junk-food novel (aka a novel that has shallow plot and characters and little planning done. Mostly just to wring some writing impulses) whevenever I feel like it. THAT BEING SAID I'm not that evil.

Here's the prologue.

“Guess that’s all I can get out of this guy.”

Deep underground, a young teenager who appears not older than fourteen mumbles to himself. With a little sigh, he heaves the long dead man towards a towards a chute, labelled with big bolded red words【D I G E S T E R】.

“One... Two... Yosh!”

With a little ‘oomph’ and a shove the large and muscular man was dumped headfirst into the hatch (conveniently at waist-height), but as the young teen turned around there was a soft *thunk*. Turning, he looked back to see the man’s knee caught onto the rim. Shrugging, he gave it a little push and lifted the foot, allowing the leg to disappear down the now closed lid.

Smiling contently, he Rumia-twirled thrice (WN: Rumia is a character from Touhou, frequently depicted as spinning in basically a T-pose but palms facing left and right. Or you can just Google Rumia), landed heavily on his soft chair and spun along the rest of the lab to his desk. There, monitors and machinery of all sorts lined the table, but at the centre were a row of petri-dishes inside an oddly-shaped capsule.

“Grow, grow my little children! Though I have been saying that but, now that I gave it a little thought, shouldn’t I say our children? Oh well, I’m sure Elly understands.”

If you encounter this narrative on Amazon, note that it's taken without the author's consent. Report it.

He once again smiles goofily at the ten capsules. In the gel that he himself invented just for them, the results of his long endeavours were finally taking shape. Invisible to the naked eye, or perhaps even a low definition light microscope, the tiny dividing embryo grows.

-Meeep – meeeeeeep – meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep –

“Oh, the buzzer. I didn’t request for anything though?”

He did a quick check, booting up the monitor closest to him (the CPU is always on) and his fingers tapped at the keyboard. Spamming the right-arrow key, he flipped through many documents and reports that the computer returned.

“I guess I am running out of subjects but....... I was pretty sure that...... Oh well. Works fine with me.”

He then pressed the beak of the meeping Psyduck down and the annoying sound stopped.

“Urgh. Tis was a tiring day. Why can’t I get more females or younger ones? The large dudes are so flippin’ heavy.”

He said that while massaging his shoulder. By himself, naturally. Then, deciding that he was done for the day, he went to the door to greet his surprise visitors. They wore a full body-based armour, with a gaseous support system that was independent of the surrounding atmosphere. Their armour were sealed with rubber, not a gap could be found. Some where white, some where black, but the armour was always the one uniform colour (WN: Not shade though. Probably could sell in an art gallery). In their arms cradled a PK-URDi-7 of the latest –

In a split second, perhaps trained by the many time attack events he played in his games, he made his decision once recognizing the threat. The emblem that they proudly bore on their chest, was that of an opposing nation in this war.

He picked up his Goo-Gun, loaded a random cartridge (probably a failure from a previous experiment) and started splatting at random. Though that didn’t help. Before the first globlet of Goo even left the barrel, a lead bullet found its way into his skull. Another into his right lung. Then another..... and another..... and.......

Under the hail of oppressive fire his corpse was flung onto his desk and then off, knocking away the precious equipment. Even through the final bursts of bullets that were shot ‘Just to make sure it’s dead, ya know?’, he tightly cradled the ten capsules, now drenched in his flesh and blood. And everything else you find inside a human body that has been put through a blender.

Then, the people in armour hurriedly left.

The heart and soul of the young boy who found a dream, and sought to reach that dream, was shattered. But only physically. Perhaps by God’s interference or some sacred miracle, he found himself in 。。。。

“What. In. The. World. Is. THIS?!”
