Hello, my name is Doctor Zero and I wrote this book. A couple times. Now that we’re done the third rewrite, I have a few questions for you. Please pick one or two and answer them in the comments.

1. Should I release the book or rewrite it again?

2. If I rewrite it, what should be changed, removed, or added?

3. If I release it, what should I write next?

I’m mostly happy with how this version turned out. I’d planned nine major changes for the rewrite. Five worked out pretty good, three were abandoned, and one got worse. So the book definitely got better, but there’s still room for improvement. That said, maybe it’s as good as it needs to be, and another rewrite would be procrastination.

A high fantasy about living a good life on a world that is definitely, totally, fucking doomed.

A contemporary thriller where everyone’s Ai assistants are secretly real life psychopaths.

Both of these books are half finished. Just wondering where to spend my time.
