"Oh great hero! Take me as your disciple…” Bowen saw Renault bowing down in front of him with his head touching the floor. Bowen couldn’t process what was happening right then. He would never have believed that Renault would lower his head in front of him one day, even in his dreams.
"What are you doing? Explain yourself," said Bowen in a gruff voice. Renault mistook that he had done something wrong to anger that powerful person. He didn't want to be killed like others.
"Oh hero! Please forgive me in case I did something wrong. I know that this is greediness, but I promise that I will work hard as your disciple. I will obey everything you order me to do."
[What is this kid blabbering about? Hasn’t he always bragged about noble blood? Why is he like this now?]
"Do you even know about me?" asked Bowen.
"Of course, I do. You are the savior of this poor victim. You are the hero who bestows judgment over the sinners. I saw with my own eyes how effortlessly you brought doom to those kidnappers and my uncle Bale."
[Oh, so he woke up when I killed Bale and the rogues. He must not have known my real identity as Bowen.]
"Look here. I don't have time for this. You will find a good master in the future. Now get up and return to your home."
"No master. Definitely not…I am not moving an inch if you don't accept me."
Bowen felt a headache seeing the unwanted trouble. Just then...
Ting Hidden mission triggered. - First Disciple
Renault has seen the great prowess of the host and is thoroughly impressed. Take him as the first disciple and walk the path of a master.
Reward 10 DP on making a master-disciple contract.
Rules of the contract:
Once a teacher, always a teacher: this contract cannot be erased or reversed until either the host or disciple dies.
The disciple is not allowed to make a contract with another teacher. He/she can only learn from other people considering them as a temporary teacher.
The disciple cannot lie or betray the host.
The host must take care of the cultivation and knowledge development of the disciple.
Delegating from any one of these rules will be awarded a severe penalty or punishment according to the intensity of wrongdoing.
This was unexpected for Bowen. Nevertheless, he didn't mind earning 10 DP by taking Renault as his disciple.

Bowen explained all these rules to Renault. In truth, Renault was visibly scared on hearing rules like taking no other teacher for life or about punishment for lying.
"Do you still dare to be my disciple?" asked Bowen in a threatening voice.
"Y..yes!" said Renault with determination.
"Are you sure? There will be no going back, you know."
"I don't think I will get a better master in my life. I will do it," said Renault with determination, gritting his teeth.
Bowen didn’t know what made Renault accept such harsh conditions. Actually, this is a new side of Renault he is seeing.
"System, bind Renault as my disciple," said Bowen.
Immediately Renault was hit with sharp pain for a few seconds and then...
Ting Hidden mission cleared. Congratulations to the host for taking the first disciple.
Reward 10 DP.
Status of the disciple Renault is as follows:
Name : Renault (male, human)
Status: Awakened (Blessed mana vessel)
Strength : 10
Vitality : 12
Agility : 11
Intelligence : 8
Magic Attributes: lightning(F)-(s rank) - main
Wind(G) -(A rank)- secondary
Martial attribute : assassin(G)-(sss rank)
character : proud, boasting, impulsive
Blood line: Normal
Bowen's eye twitched upon seeing Renault's attributes. "He not only has a double magic attribute, but an SSS rank assassin martial attribute as well? He really must be the true son of the goddess of luck. Moreover, his character is another problem. There will be no use in being talented if he follows in the footsteps of his father."
A warning beep interrupted Bowen's thoughts. "There is only 15 minutes remaining for the host to be in reaper mode."
"Shit," Bowen muttered. He didn't want to waste any more time with Renault. He quickly went to the five corpses and touched them, using soul sensing to gather some reliable information from them. He didn't have time to process the information yet, but he did take some valuable items from the corpses, such as space rings and money, identifying them with the help of the system.
"Disciple, I am going to give you my first order," Bowen said to Renault.
"Yes, master. I will do anything you want," Renault replied.
"Once you reach your village, you will tell everybody that your uncle Bale, along with the Raven Gang, kidnapped you. And it was Bowen's father, Theodore, who let you escape from the kidnappers. In the struggle, Bowen's father was burnt and killed. Moreover, all these things happened in the old abandoned temple. Understand?"
"But, master, it was you..." Renault started to say.
"Are you going to obey me or not?" Bowen asked with a furious tone.
"Yes, master. As you wish," Renault quickly replied.
"Good. Now, I am going to take you inside a separate space and carry you to your village. Don't resist me," Bowen said as he immediately put Renault inside his space bracelet.
Bowen also put the other corpses inside his bracelet. According to the system, each living or non-living thing inside the bracelet has separate slots, so there is no way Renault would see Casper or the other things which are in Bowen's space bracelet.
Bowen soon ran from the hidden cave to Barn Village. It seemed like many people were dispatched to search for Renault, so he had to stop at the village borders away from people. He released Renault from his space bracelet. "Next time," Bowen said, and hurried towards the abandoned temple.
"Master, master, please tell me your name," Renault shouted from behind.
Bowen stopped in his tracks and gave him a look. After a second of silence, he said, "Call me Lord Fate," with a smile on his lips.
"Lord Fate... Fate..." The word kept echoing in Renault's mind again and again.
At that time, the name "Fate" that Bowen came up with at the spur of the moment, but he himself didn't know that the name would turn the multiverse upside down. For whoever heard that name, Lord Fate, their fate would change for good or worse, and they would tremble in fear and respect towards the word.
An hour after Bowen left for the abandoned temple, in the cave, the space was disturbed, and a projection of a giant eye appeared over the altar. It blinked and scanned throughout the cave for a mere two seconds and then disappeared as quietly as it came.
