while doing that he was thinking over the possibilities, he could become even faster stronger smarter, the sky was the limit, while he felt he continued to walk with Emily through the school and listening to her speak of this and that.

they eventually came to a massive double door that looked old, and majestic, people were milling about around them while he looked at the doors.

he was of course speaking and thinking of other stuff at the same time thanks to his skill and being a deity, these abilities were neat.

The double door opened and out walked an old man, while saying, elder, he was hardly frail, he walked with a noble air to him, and he commanded respect, he had a cuple of wrinkles and grey hair, and his eyes held a youthful look.

coming to a stop in front of them both, he looked them over before opening his mouth to speak.

“Miss Goldleaf I see you have found yourself a husband, very interesting, he holds an unknown power within him I can sense it but…. it's vague, almost like its cloaked behind some barrier but I'm not sure"

“Oh, excuse me I'm Mr nickles, and I will be your teacher in divine attunement, and I know you will have a very strong domain.”

“Steve, Emily's husband,” Steve said reaching forth his hand for a handshake.

Mr nickles took the offered hand and made a strong shake.

“Mr tritium, have a nice day and see you in 3 days,” nickles said before leaving.

“he seams nice,” Steve said.

“yeah, this is my first year here, but he's an excellent teacher,” Emily said with a smile.

“shall we go,” steve said motioning for them to leave as well.

“we shall,” Emily said happily, almost skipping away.

After they walked for a while, they came to a big room with many doors.

Sitting beside each door was someone with a jacket or uniform in different designs depending on which door they occupied.

Walking up to one, there was a young man sitting in front of a door, wearing a red jacket with black details, and a crest on the jacket looking like two swords crossing each other with a black background.

“hi we would like to join the fencings class,” Emily said.

Looking up at them after a while, with ice blue eyes, inspecting them he finally spoke, “walk through the door and chose a sword and step into the circle in the middle of the room"

nodding both their heads they walked through, as soon as they did the scenery changed, to a torchlit room, with racks upon racks of swords.

walking up to a rack, Steve looked over the swords, eventually finding a samurai sword, picking it up, it glowed faintly before dimming.

fascinated he took a few practice swings, and the sword felt perfect for him, like the sword was meant for him.

sticking it in the sheath that magically appeared at his side, he walked over to Emily who still looked over swords, she was eyeing several of them and didn’t seem sure which to pick, feeling and watching over them all.

while he wanted to help her with this, he knew that this had to be her choice, interfering would only make this take longer.

while Emily was looking through swords, he started taking practice swings, felling the weight and heft of his sword.

he started seeing visons that seemed extremely odd to him, there were drums thumping in the background while soldiers were marching towards a village,

their steps were synchronised with the beat of the drums, each step bringing them closer to the town, Steve knew instinctively what was going to happen.

Yet he just watched, when the soldiers reached the town all hell broke loose, there were screaming and blood everywhere.

He would have had looked away, because this would normally disgust him, but he continued watching, entranced by the display of violence, houses were now burning, and he could smell the stench of burning flesh, amidst the sobs of people he could feel a pull to somewhere, like something was calling for him to move his attention there.

Looking over where the pull was coming from, he could see a young woman on her knees, mumbling to herself, but it was more than that, there was something strange about it, finally realizing it he knew she was praying, she was praying to him.

He inspected her for a moment, she had shoulder length black hair, and even though her face was bleeding and bruised, he knew she was a beauty, her body only proved that further.

If by instinct he reached out towards her, and when he touched her he infused her with some of his strength.

There was a blinding flash, and the woman began to heal, she stood up tall, energy filled her as her attributes skyrocketed, after a few seconds she spoke with great vehemence.

“Thank you, my lord, for giving me some of your strength, I will serve you for an eternity.”

steve just smiled and let her go before soaring up towards the sky, from where he could see the carnage that ensued as the woman slaughtered all of the soldiers, with a beaming smile on her face.

breaking into specks of light steve came back with a start, noticing six hours had passed, Emily had picked her sword and was waiting for him patiently.

“ what happened,” she asked.

“ uhm not sure,” he said with a confused smile on his face.

“well ok, let's go we have one more thing to do before we leave here.”

locking at his notifications he knew what he saw wasn’t an illusion.

that’s ominous steve thought, while powerful could also eventually kill him, this had to be used in emergencies.

while going over this he had followed Emily to a large circle, which she had explained was some sort of battle circle to test one's abilities, it was a requirement to join any fight clubs.

this will be fun he thought with a grim look on his face as he prepared for battle because no time like the present he thought with a chuckle and a smile.
