"Why did this happen to me?"
The rock was sharp and it stabbed into my shoes causing my shoes to be ripped and the bottom of it flew off and away flipping around over and over again. It landed and the noise it made caused my skin to have goose bumps all over.
What's was even worse was that when I fell, I fell down onto the rock with my pelvic area or those who don't know, an area that is near my meatballs and sausage.
The pain reacted and activated the moment it hit. It first sent a shock and as the shock disappeared, pain slowly appeared replacing the shock that was disappearing.
The pain hurt so much that I couldn't get up no matter how hard I tried. I could start to hear the fizzing of trees burning after it became incinerated into nothing.
I could physically hear the pain that was entering my body yelling into my ears giving me pointers on the next time so that they don't have to appear again.
I sincerely tried to convince my brain that it did not hurt me a single bit but I guess you can't lie to yourself even if it isn't you yourself but just a part of you.
The pain and convincing caused comfort, confusion and of course pain.
'You're going to be okay'
This thought popped up in my head and it helped me calm down a little bit.
'Why did this happen to me when I'm given the chance to live another life?'
Even though I was calming down, the pain and the loss of the ability to get up caused confusion in my head as I didn't know if I would live or not.
'You won't die from the lava'
'Am I going to die?'
'The ghost will help you get out of this'
'The ghost can't help you after all if he could than he would have already'
'Get up and you will survive'
'Are you sure you can survive this?'
'Go Go Go Go'
How was I supposed to know that the lake was going to turn and be the cause of my second death. No one told me that, just like how no one told me that I was going to die while I was on my first earth living and breathing fresh air even if it was a little polluted from all of the factories and machinery.
I started questioning myself back and forth as if I was a detective asking one of the suspects trying to find the culprit of the crime committed. I even started speaking in third person. It was something only a few people would do but I wasn't one of them and never was, up until that is.
"Chen, what are you doing get up already before you burn and incinerate into nothing!"
That question stabbed into my brain and slowly entered it. It was a pretty big knife as it was the only thing in my mind.
Although that was a little creepy, I managed to make myself do exactly what I said to myself.
The pain in my body disappeared in my pelvic area and it felt like adrenaline was rushing in my veins again but this time it felt like it was going a hundred times faster than before.
It almost felt as if nothing even happened in the first place and that I was on the ground for absolutely nothing at all.
I had only one thought and that was the thought of living by getting up and running.
I put my right hand on the ground, gained a grip onto the ground and then the left gains its grip as well.
"Let's go!"
The legs start spinning and running like a engine on a train. The only thing left for me to do was to lick my lips until it's no longer chapped and to say a dramatic thing before running to give myself confidence as if I was in a action movie and about to do something cool.
'run'
*******
"Chung Fang! Come over here!"
A big broad sized, gray haired, wide shouldered, scarred body man yelled. He was calling for a man by the name of Chung Fang. Although the man yelling was inside of a library, no one seemed to care and just went on with their business. The library was as big as most houses were but probably twice to thrice the height and a lot more books.
With a quiet squeak of the door, a man walked inside the library and quietly closed the door with two hands and walked towards the man who was previously yelling on top of his lungs.
The man who walked in had a pretty handsome face that would make any girls want to date him and although he had ragged and rigid white hair, he looked just as young as the others in the library who had black.
He walked towards the man and bowed down showing a lot of respect. The man who was yelling had a proud grin on his face. It was so large that it was about to rip off of his face and fly into space. He seemed to have been the higher up or master of the white-haired man who bowed down to him as bowing down was a way to show respect to someone who was higher than you in society.
The man opened his mouth and took a deep breath. It was so wide that a thousand flies could have entered and the mouth would still have enough room for more.
He then opened his mouth again and this time words came out.

"Chung Fang. As you know — you only require to do one more mission before you go off to become an Spirit Low-God and I have managed to find someone who will allow you to take the mission. Although it took me a lot of money to bribe him into giving you the mission before the others that were in front of you — you don't have to owe me anything for this matter. As a matter of fact, you don't owe me anything at all. I only need you to remember one thing and that is when you become a High-God just make sure to remember who lead you onto the path of success and how you could pay him back."
The white haired man or Chung Fang nodded his head and the man who talked to him turned from grinning to have a worried expression. Although it was just for a brief moment and he changed his expression really quick for any normal being to see the change, well Chung Fang wasn't a normal being. He was a somebody who was about to become a god and he caught the face that the man made the moment he showed it. He could tell that the worried face wasn't because the man was worried for him but instead he was worried that Chung Fang wouldn't remember him and that in the future when he's in trouble, he can't get help from Fang.
Although Fang noticed it, he didn't want to say anything that could potentially ruin his chance of becoming a Spirit Low-God. Chung Fang wasn't angry or sad at all. As a matter of fact, he was as calm as sleeping bear during it's hibernation.
He just lifted his head and bowed once again to thanked the teacher and then walked away as if nothing happened.
Chung Fang was in deep thoughts but his thoughts weren't even about his teacher. He realized that the teacher was just investing in him so that in the end, he will make a bigger profit and benefits from him.
He was actually thinking about what kind of mission was the special mission.
Everyone received the same mission but it was never leaked on what kind of mission it was. The High-God councils try their best to keep the information from being released to the public as this mission was the only mission that shows if someone would have the potential to become like them or not.
Chung Fang tilted his head a little bit in wonder and he just silently laughed in his head.
He put his hand on the doorknob and used the minimum strength required.
The door was opened calmly and closed it behind him just as calmly.
The man thought that Chung Fang wasn't strong and attentive enough to have caught the face but in his head he thought that even if Chung Fang did notice, he would have thought the face would have been made because the man was worried for him and not worried about him forgetting about him.
He didn't believe that Chung Fang would even notice anyway so he didn't really care about it anymore and the thought went into the back soon to be forgetten.
"This boy is going to make me very powerful and rich in the future"
The man said it loud enough to hear it himself but not for others to hear it as well as he would.
Meanwhile Chung Fang was in the middle of preparing for his special and deciding mission that would allow him to become a god.
He exited the library building itself but he didn't exit the whole thing as it had a whole land bought for it and you would probably have to walk for a while to exit the gate itself and enter the streets. It was simply a mere coincidence that Fang was near the library when he was called over by his teacher. He was in the middle of researching on how to train his mind energy and the ability to teleport from places to places as he needed a quicker way to get around.
How the teacher knew he was there? No one knows but it was probably just a pure instinct act. Chung Fang didn't bother asking as the teacher wouldn't tell anyway.
His pace started to get fueled up as if it was furnace with coals getting thrown into it and he was pretty soon running like a horse in the wind. Even though he was one of the calmest and most chill person anyone could find, he had to celebrate the event that had occurred a few seconds ago.
The thought of becoming a god and not having to live in a 'dirty' place made him feel as if he was graduating school all over again and moving up society. The grass started flying up in the air from the ground and started dancing like angels as Chung Fang ran past them one foot at a time.
"Woo!"
Chung Fang didn't want to waste any more time so instead of walking out the door like a normal person, he jumped on top of the gate and jumped onto the streets. He decided to use his spell that he learned just a few days ago from a dungeon acquired spell book to go past all of the traffic on the streets.
The spell was called {Demon Foot} and it's effect is that your leg temporarily becomes the leg of a demon lord and thus the user legs become faster, gains the ability to climb walls, and have the jump power of at least ten normal people.
It was one of the most rarest spell that could be obtained from the area he was in. He got it during one of his mission that needed him to enter one of the most dangerous dungeon for demi-gods.
"Demon Leg"
In order to activate spells, the user needs to move their energy into the right area and say the name of the spell in order to activate it.
His leg slowly transformed from a jean covered legs into a hideously demonic leg shredding almost everything except for the top part of the jean covering the important part of a guy's leg.
Fang's feet turned into from five to four toes with sharp blades replacing the toes.
Chung Fang planted his feet firmly on the ground-
Swoosh
He leaped all the way up to thirty feet and below was a big cloud of smoke everywhere. Everyone around him when he jumped was covered in smoke and coughing. They went from demi-gods to ghost. Chung Fang looked down below him and his only reaction was a little laugh before he landed on a building.
Fang was into a book at the time and it was about a ninja that uses chakra and his only moves is different variations of a wind ball, the ability to duplicate himself, the power to summon frogs, and the power to transform into different things.
He was a kind of ninja that runs with their arm behind them flying like a flag. Fang wanted to try that so he started running across from the buildings with his arm like that jumping from building to building.
The crowd who Fang dusted started chasing him but his demon leg was too fast for them so they were soon left out in the middle of the street wondering where the troublemaker who made them look like idiots went. Fang started gaining momentum and he wanted to try something. His house was located on top of a mountain so he would either had to climb up the road which would take a long time or he could try out what he had on his mind which would reduce the time to get to his house by minutes.
He decided to go with his dangerous plan and he took off his former shoe. It couldn't even be considered a shoe as when he activated his demon leg, it grew a hole on the bottom and it started hanging onto his ankles. Even if Fang wanted to fix the shoe, it was impossible unless someone used a spell on it but who had time for that.
He ran almost to the edge of the building he was running on before he threw the shoe up with all of the power he had in his arm and half of a second later he jumped as well.
The wind and gravity tried to play their part but even they weren't any match for the leg of a demon lord. The air flowed every around his body and Chung Fang ended up with an exposed stomach, messy hair, and a loose clothes.
Fang kept going up until he was up to twenty-four feet and the shoe was just barely above him.
He and the shoe was about to get to the limit height but before Fang fell back down, he prepared himself to step on the shoe above him and use it as a boost to jump again in order to get to the top of the mountain.
It is scientifically proven impossible to use a shoe as a jump boost but Chung Fang had another ability that could help him with this light weight problem. The move was called {Steelization} and it was a spell with an effect that was very simple yet useful. It could turn anything into steel but the bigger it is the harder so turning a human into steel is pretty difficult as they can attack the user in the middle of their casting so that the spell is cancelled.
If the object was smaller than a chair then the transformation is almost instant.
"Steelization"
The word triggered the ability and the shoe quickly turned into a piece of metal.
He didn't have to do everything he did to get to his house but he wanted as much time to prepare in case the mission was completely random. Fang wanted to grab everything so that he could be ready for it.
With a quick step, Fang jumped off of the shoe and his body started flying up higher.
