Carlos gladly accepted Ernst's bragging, Carlos who had the system's golden finger added to his body certainly deserved the name of genius.
All kinds of energies were stored directly in the system, Carlos never had to worry about any incompatibility, the system would coordinate everything, Carlos only needed to be responsible for using these energies properly, and the rest didn't have to worry about himself.
"Perhaps the elven moon goddess, Azerothia, has finally responded to the love of Jacob, the god of war, Rasvid!
In the future, more and more Orcish teenagers with outstanding talent for magical energies will emerge, a confluence of divine forces!"
Carlos said with a holy look on his face, now looking to the point of looking like a full blown deus ex machina.
Explaining his seemingly less-than-normal abilities in terms of myths and legends made sense under Carlos' deliberate guidance.
"I've also heard of the love legend of the God of War and the Moon God of the Elf Clan, if that's true, then the Orc Clan will become stronger and stronger in the future, thanks to the blessings of the Gods!"
Eranster said with a pious look on his face, seemingly bluffed by this statement from Carlos.
"The waves should have passed by now, did you see the boat earlier?"
Carlos saw that Eranster was convinced and said nothing more on the subject, finding the ship was the main purpose of being here.
"The coastline is long, this is going to be a slow search along the coast, they're going to be gone a long time before they come back if they plan to go to the center of the country, it's unlikely that the ship will stay in a very conspicuous place, it's got to be as hidden as possible."
Erlangist analyzed the situation in a way that made Carlos think he was a seasoned sailor.
Elenster slowly withdrew the earth wall, the towering earth wall sank back into the earth as if it had not existed a moment ago, there was no trace of it at all, such a tactic made Carlos envious, if he himself knew how to do this, how much simpler it would be to build a house, Carlos thought so.
"Going to follow the coastline?"
Carlos asked.
"That's also too dangerous, it's better to stay away, besides the Sea Spirit Clan especially likes to catch people on the shore, it's better not to get too close to the seashore, if you're targeted by them, that's a really bad thing!"
Erlangist's words were filled with fiddling scorn.
"That's to be cautious."
Carlos said in a hushed voice.
The crowd kept a proper distance away from the shoreline as dozens of pairs of eyes searched around for signs of the ship.
Even at a distance from the ocean, one could still smell the salty sea breeze, a smell that Carlos had been smelling for months in the Diablo Sea, and at that moment there was an inexplicable recollection of the wonderful feeling of a dull and uneventful and restful period of time when one could enjoy a rare moment of quiet.
The others were disgusted by the smell compared to Carlos, and Eranster even looked comical as he plugged his nostrils with his long beard.
Eranster used it as a way to try and avoid the salty taste, but it seemed to have little effect, ever since he came over here Eranster's eyebrows had been knitted together and never parted, and the Shokrat warriors had the same attitude, without beards they had to use their fingers to minimize the sensory tubes as much as possible.
The Bell Bears didn't like the smell either, but behaved a little better than Eranster and the others; after all, they had been on the ship for a while and had some resistance.
Nonetheless, they only focused most of their energy on resisting the salty taste, and only Carlos was pleasantly unperturbed, not feeling the slightest bit uncomfortable as his eyes searched every corner without missing a beat.
"I think I saw it, anchored in that bay!
Right there!"
Carlos' careful observation finally paid off.
It was a natural harbor sunken inward, and the ship was docked there, undulating slowly up and down with the surging waves, a constant stream of seawater crashing into the stone wall from the outside, and then surging back in the opposite direction after hitting it.
The seawater rushing in pushed the ship inward, and the returning seawater pushed the ship outward, the seawater was very strong, but the ship swayed very little each time, and you could see that there was a chain extending into the seawater on the hull of the ship, and it should be that the anchor used for fixing it was thrown down, and that's why the ship was stopped so steadily.
"With all the anchors down, there shouldn't be anyone on this boat, should there?"
Carlos said inquiringly.
"Just go over there and find out!"
Erlangist had a determination rarely seen in old men, and sometimes Carlos thought he was younger than he was.
The crowd had by this time come to the innermost part of this bay, and the ship came to rest on the inside of a stone wall, and Elenster, in a single bound, jumped directly from the top of the wall, followed by the Shoalmaster warriors, all of whom landed steadily on the deck.
Carlos was a bit embarrassed that he wasn't actually as bold as Eranster, and although he was a bit slower, he followed suit, jumping and instructing the Bell Bears not to jump, Carlos was afraid that the weight of their jumps would pierce the deck.
There really wasn't a single person on the ship, these human mercenaries were really relieved, but this place was considered safe, no one would normally come over here, except for people like Carlos who came specifically to look for the ship.
The ship was pretty much the same as the one he had grabbed on his way back earlier, Carlos didn't see much of a difference, hard to say the difference Carlos felt as if it was slightly larger, while Elenst and the Shokrat warriors looked around the ship with a curious look.
If you encounter this story on Amazon, note that it's taken without permission from the author. Report it.
"Let's get the boat into the shallows first, then we can move things down, but I'm planning on emptying this boat of everything."
Carlos said, and after waving his hand to signal the Bell Bears to head west, Carlos lifted the anchor and sailed the ship directly to the west.
Leaving the area, which was all stone walls, Carlos sailed his boat around the outside to find a shallow spot where he could land, and in the process, Carlos spotted people standing on the waves in the distance, holding scepters that glowed blue, and with every slight rocking a wave broke out from under them and ran towards the shore.
"Are those the Sea Spirits?
Looking like children, what are they holding in their hands?"
Carlos said.
"It would have been children, the Sea of Watch is their playground, holding the Staff of the Tide Waker, the Sea Spirit Clan made it with the rare moonstone from the undersea abyss plus the unique Neptune power of the rituals, it has the magical power to manipulate the tides of the sea, it is impossible to manually hand one of them even in the Sea Spirit Clan, these children's fathers must have been the noble Sea Spirit Clan rituals in order to be able to play with such a rare thing ."
Erlangist said.
"It's such a shame to give such a good thing to a child as a prank toy, why don't we go and grab it!"
Carlos came up with a dangerous idea.
"This is at sea, stop your bad ideas!"
Erlangist said in alarm.
"There's no need to be so nervous, I'm just saying, say you're not at all moved by that Tide Waker's Battle, having the power to manipulate the tides of the sea, how tempting it is!"
Carlos said.
"Those are all made by the Sea Spirit Clan rituals with special techniques, only the Sea Spirit Clan can use them, there's no difference between others grabbing them and a stick."
Ernst tried hard to talk Carlos out of the idea.
"In that case, forget it."
As soon as he heard that he couldn't use it when he grabbed it, Carlos was instantly disinterested.
"That Sea Spirit kid stopped raising the waves after I came over, he's quite understanding!"
Carlos turned the boat to the front, that sea spirit child then immediately closed, looks very well behaved and understanding, Carlos said with some surprise.
"That's because there is a special Sea God token hanging on this ship, in the Sea Spirit Clan even a child of a few years old knows that they can't mess around in front of a ship like this, it's a sign of respect for the will of the Sea God, it's not that they know how to do anything, if they were to get another ship, they'd let you feel what the power of the sea is!"
Erlangist explained slowly.
"Then get a move on, I see a shoal right there, hurry up and land and take everything you want, then destroy the ship, it's in the way if you keep it."
Carlos said with some impatience at that.
"OK, OK, Lord Priest, as long as you don't want to go and grab the Sea Spirit Clan's Tide Caller's Staff, you can do whatever else you want."
Eranster hastened to agree, fearing that Carlos would think of something outrageous again.
"As for being such a coward?
It gave you such a fright."
Carlos said with some surprise, it didn't seem to him that Eranster was such a coward.
"This is not because I'm timid, it's clearly because you don't understand the terror of the Sea Spirit Race, in the sea, the Sea Spirit Race is almost invincible ah, you simply shouldn't have had that kind of thought arise just now."
Erlangist said humbly.
"Hmm?
Invincible?
You have to realize that invincibility is meant to be broken!"
Carlos said in a very domineering manner, and when he said this, Carlos purposely used his Dragon Might to make this statement more intimidating, and Carlos was also using this statement to change the minds of these people that had already solidified.
"If they don't even have the courage to fight against them, then they are truly invincible!"
"Isn't it because of them that the Northern Plains have large tracts of uncultivable saline land?
Do you want to spend the rest of your life huddled in a humble corner of the Northern Plains?"
"Believe me, one day I'm going to get rid of all these Sea Spirits, I don't care if they make any more noise in the deep sea, but they're going to make waves in the sea near the coast!
Just not!"
Carlos said in a very domineering manner, the voice that contained the dragon's might was particularly impactful, shaking the minds of Elenst and the Shuo Rats warriors, causing their original thoughts to waver.
I don't know when they had gotten used to accepting and compromising, as if obedience was the right thing to do, and the nonsense of the Sea Spirit Race was the natural thing to do, and forbearance and evasion became their only choice, and Carlos' words had planted a seed called change within them.
"This . That." Eranster stammered, unsure of what to say, such a thought had never crossed his mind before, and Carlos snapping to it had left Eranster at a bit of a loss for words.
"Don't this and that, just say if you want to live out a look, if you want to work together to build, if you don't want to I won't force you, it's just the same as the original shrinking in the corner, there's no change."
Carlos looked unconcerned, much to the point of purposely provoking Ehranist.
"Good!
These Sea Spirit Race scumbags are used to making a fool of themselves over here, and I'm eager to give them a good beating!"
Erlangist said hatefully.
Carlos' words aroused the remaining hot-blooded passion in Eranster's heart, this kind of old people's heart energy if stimulated, the effect is often stronger than young people, those Shuo Rats warriors were also infected by such an atmosphere, in a state of high fighting spirit!
During the time that Carlos mobilized Eranster and the others, the boat that was being driven had already come to this shallow beach, and Carlos had no intention of slowing down, so he just drove straight to the shore, leaving a long scratch on the beach before he managed to come to a stop.
The warriors of the Bell Bears on the shore had been waiting in anticipation for some time, and it had taken them far less time to come that way than it had taken Carlos to come by sea.
"Quickly move the magic guided cannons down first, and those bows and arrows all the way down!"
Carlos shouted as he led by example, taking the lead in picking up one of the magic guided cannons and walking down the path, those Shokrat warriors also nearly followed Carlos's lead, and the Bell Bears came up to help along.
For his part, Eranster wandered around various parts of the ship to see if there were any goodies, checking out various rooms in the cabin, including the captain's cabin, and going to scavenge it as well.
A few boxes of musket cartridges were found in the captain's cabin, some gems and money, which, including the cartridges, were all useless to Erlangist.
Then there was nothing more except a few bottles of wine from human society and what looked like medicines in bottles and jars, no magic related props or items were found, it was true that the mercenaries were all brainless guys, Elenst was a bit disappointed!
Over here Carlos had brought down all of the ship's magic guided cannons, as many as sixteen in all, with six mounted on each side of the hull, and four more probably for spares in the compartments where the clutter was piled up.
There was also a large amount of magic crystals on board, so many that Carlos roughly estimated it to be over three thousand, which would already be more than Carlos originally had, not to mention more than that!
In the ship Carlos also found two very high crossbow, these two are the Sheard special additional purchase of the dragon hunting giant crossbow, in order to this time out of the mission specially prepared, but also once did not use it, it is cheap Carlos.
The crossbow was close to as tall as two Carlos, something Carlos didn't recognize, but the arrows that were placed next to the crossbow Carlos was a bit impressed.
Wasn't this the same kind of arrow he had deflected for Shelia on the ship earlier?
That was the first time Carlos's scale armor was completely broken, so Carlos remembered it fondly, and the force was so strong that Carlos felt a chill down his spine even now when he thought back on it.
So far away and still have such a powerful killing power, in Carlos's opinion, this thing can be much more powerful than a musket, it's just that it's not very convenient to operate, Carlos tried it, and the result is that a person can't even fire the arrows, Carlos decided to take these two crossbows back and then study them afterward.
With these items in hand, Carlos felt that he had made a good profit out of this trip, after searching the ship more carefully and feeling that there was nothing else useful, Carlos decided to set the ship on fire, and bursts of flames hit the top of the hull, and the ship burst into a thick cloud of smoke.
Carlos was ready to leave when a sudden jet of water came over and put out the fire Carlos had just lit!
