Chapter 44 Excited Hoffman!

Chapter 44 Excited Hoffman!

Looking far and wide, the trees in the Sunset Mountains are extremely tall and lush, and the green forests are like oceans, connected together.

As soon as you enter this forest, the first thing you feel is the vibrant life, and the grass next to the land is blooming with all kinds of flowers, emitting an intoxicating aroma.

The birds circling in the forest, flying merrily from branch to branch, twittering and chirping, accompanied by the sound of water from the babbling brook echoed faintly through the forest.

Golden sunlight from the layers of leaves through the cracks, mapping on the ground, in the ground to form a large number of light spots, the light in the light of a lot less hot, more soothing, I have to say that this is really a good place to live in a good place!

  "This place is beautiful!

If there was such a nice piece of land in my world, it would have been developed into an idyllic villa resort long ago!"

  Carlos lamented to himself.

  "What are you talking about?

  Why can't I understand it!"

Hoffman couldn't understand what Carlos was saying.

"Uh, nothing, I'm just talking random nonsense, don't worry about it."

Carlos is not good to explain, only to put off the matter, good thing Hoffman is not a alas drilled into the bull's-eye, also do not pursue the question, Carlos also no longer mentioned.

"Hurry up and pick your prey, Avril and Shelia should be picking fruit pretty fast, we can't keep them waiting too long!"

  Carlos hurriedly changed the subject.

"Well, yeah, I just saw a couple deer run by over there, looked pretty good!"

  Hoffman said.

  "Where is it?

  Why didn't I see it?"

Carlos looked in the direction Hoffman had said, but looked at nothing.

"You were just looking at the tree and talking to it without knowing what you were talking about, and all those deer have already run through there!"

  Hoffman said.

"I did get lost in thought just now, I didn't pay attention, so now feel toward that side to look again, maybe I can find a herd of deer, and shoot a little more back, after all, you Bell Bears have a big meal, one or two of them is definitely not enough to eat!"

  Carlos said.

"This forest is so big, I need to mark it so I don't get lost and can't get out!"

Sensing that the trees in this grove were too dense, and fearing that he would get winded chasing his prey in them, Carlos carved a sunken, charred arrowhead into a large tree with a pulse of electricity specifically where he had just come in.

"It has to be marked all along the way, or you might not get out even if you're not surrounded!"

  Carlos was very cautious.

Carlos is still making the tag and Hoffman is already out on all fours!

  "Hey!

  What's your hurry?"

Carlos shouted after him, the next mark on his hand only half carved before Carlos ran after Hoffman!

It was a good thing Hoffman wasn't running as wildly as if he'd lost his mind, and Carlos soon caught up, and coming up to speed, Carlos noticed Hoffman shrugging his nose.

Like he was sniffing for something, his nose kept wiggling in the air, like a detection device, not knowing what he was looking for!

  "What's wrong with you?

  Looking for what?"

  Carlos asked suspiciously.

"It smells so good, don't you smell it?"

Hoffman said slightly excitedly, at the same time the nose shrugged more and more quickly, his face showed an intoxicated look, as if he was extremely enjoying smelling something!

Carlos looked at Hoffman with a horny look on his face and thought that at the moment Hoffman looked like a drug addict!

  "What is it?

  ! I don't smell anything!"

  Carlos said.

  "The smell of honey!

Can't you smell such a sweet odor?"

  Hoffman said gleefully.

"What honey, why can't I smell it at all?"

Carlos followed Hoffman's example, his nose doing its best to inhale, but he didn't smell anything sweet except fresh air and the faint scent of flowers.

"If you can't smell it, forget it, I'll take you to look for it, you can't just look for meat when you come out to look for food, let's take some honey back to them as well, Ms. Hylia loves honey too!

  Gobble!"

Hoffman was still swallowing uncontrollably when he said this, and I'm afraid that if he didn't swallow a little bit between words, the saliva would come out of his mouth!

"I don't think it's Shelia who loves it, it's you!

  Look at you drooling!"

  Carlos said.

"Honey was first discovered and consumed by us, the Bell Bear Clan, from the hives of bees, and as a vassal of the Swan Clan, honey has been offered as tribute by us, and the Swan Clan took it to the Parliament to give it to the other nobles to taste, and the nobles found it to be very tasty, and some of the noble ladies have even used it for beauty treatments!"

"Because it was sought after by the nobles, it caused the price of the honey to be raised very high, and other nobles sent people around to look for hives, and the amount of honey slowly became less.

We Bell Bears don't get to eat whenever we want to, you don't know what honey tastes like, and when you do you'll be even more excited than I am right now!"

Hoffman said all this just to show how precious and delicious this honey is.

Carlos wasn't as uneducated as Hoffman thought he was, it was just honey!

"Okay, okay, you don't have to find so many reasons to want honey, it's not like I don't agree with you to find it!"

  Carlos didn't take it well.

"When you find it, go ahead and take it, as long as we can take it away, let's take it, this time we came in here to find food, but anything that can be eaten, you can take as much as you can!"

Carlos gave Hoffman a big hand to set the course of action for this one!

  "Yes!"

  Hoffman responded.

Hoffman then began to carefully distinguish the direction in which the odor was wafting, not only tilting his head in the air, but even bending down to sniff on the ground; Carlos had seldom seen Hoffman look so serious!

"I can't see that Hoffman still has foodie attributes, he's really willing to go to great lengths for food!"

  Carlos thought to himself.

"This side has the strongest flavor!

  Go this way!"

Hoffman tasted it for a while before finally settling on a direction and heading that way with a point of his finger, and Carlos didn't forget to leave a mark made with a pulse of electricity as he went.

After walking through two bushes, and from through several rows of thick trees, Hoffman and Carlos then saw a huge beehive hanging from the branches of a tree in front of them, with lots and lots of little black dots surrounding the beehive, those being bees!

  "Buzz off!"

Walking closer, the vibrations of the bees' wings were audible.

  "What a big beehive!"

It was only when Carlos got closer that he realized how big this hive was, in Carlos' knowledge, the average hive was almost the size of a man's head, anything bigger Carlos had never seen before.

All the beekeepers you watched on TV also kept beehives, so Carlos didn't have a lot of concepts about honeycombs, but Carlos knew there was definitely nothing this big!

The beehive in front of him was more than a meter in diameter, and just hanging from the tree, Carlos was worried that it would fall at any moment!

 "There's something to this.

This size is only average, I've seen so many several times larger than this, only those hives are overrun by other nobles!"

  Hoffman said indignantly.

  "What's there to hog?

Afraid there won't be enough for them?"

  Carlos said in disbelief.

"Honey is considered a luxury item in the Orc Empire, not everyone can have it if they want to!"

  Hoffman said.

  "Luxury?"

Carlos froze, not realizing that there were actually luxuries in the Orc Empire!

Carlos seems to smell a business opportunity!

"Then take it away, it's a waste to leave something so valuable here!"

Carlos said, and then gathered up a cracking chopping blow that was about to chip that hive down to the ground!

  "Hey!

  What do you want!"

  Hoffman hastily stopped Carlos!

"I'll take this hive down ah!

  What's wrong with that?"

  Carlos said.

"If you just knock it off, the honeycomb will surely break when it falls to the ground from such a high height, so won't all the honey inside be retained!"

  Hoffman exclaimed.

"After I knock it down, you can't just go to the bottom and catch it!"

Carlos was unimpressed and didn't think the question was even a question.

"Can't you see all those bees surrounding the outside?

  And pick it up directly?

You have no idea how scary those little things are!

If you get stung, the stung area will swell up like a pig's head if it's minor, or you'll die if it's serious!"

  Hoffman said excitedly.

  "Is it that serious?

You're such a big guy, you can't get stung by that little thing?"

  Carlos was skeptical.

"What am I, even the mighty warriors of the Maimans Mammoth Clan have been defeated by the slender needles of these magical beasts!"

  Hoffman said in horror.

  "That good?"

Carlos couldn't believe it, after all it was so small, Carlos couldn't believe it could be so powerful.

  "Of course!

That's a suicide attack on their part, after sticking the stinger out the bee will also die, equivalent to an attack launched at the cost of one's own life, the power is naturally amazing!"

  Hoffman said.

  "So what now?

These little things are so powerful, you're making it sound like I'm afraid to go near them, how am I going to get them!"

  Carlos said.

"Is it hard to pull this tree out with you?"

  Carlos said.

"Of course you don't have to, the way to get tasty honey is really simple, someone has to go and lure the bees out of the hive and then another person has to go and remove the hive!

We Bell Bears do this sort of thing all the time," Hoffman said nonchalantly.

"So which one of us would be better off getting the hive?"

  Carlos asked casually.

"That's on me, I'm more skilled at this."

  Hoffman looks confident.

"It's high up there. Can you climb trees?"

  Carlos said.

"We Bell Bears are natural tree climbers!"

Hoffman said with a proud face, and as he said it, he casually found a tree nearby and climbed up the trunk, the speed of which made Carlos smack his lips.

"I can't see that you have this skill of climbing trees!"

  Carlos said in surprise.

Carlos himself wasn't much of a tree climber, and what Carlos himself couldn't do, he subconsciously assumed that others wouldn't be able to do it either, and this mindset of Carlos at this time, unconsciously underwent a subtle change.

"We Bell Bears have always been pretty good at climbing trees, we just never had much of a chance to show it off."

  Hoffman said from on high.

"Well, in that case, leave the task of drawing them away from the hive to me!"

Carlos couldn't climb a tree and had to take on this dangerous task.

"How do I get their attention?"

Carlos hadn't actually been exposed to these creatures, so he had no idea what to do.

"Here take this, walk over to the hive with this and gently smash the hive, just until it feels like it's shaking, bees hold grudges.

You've hit its home, and it will attack you relentlessly!

But you're so good, surely you won't let the bees sting you."

Hoffman casually found two rocks from the ground and shoved them into Carlos's hands, and that was Carlos's next weapon.

Carlos looked at the two stones in his hand in deep thought . "Are you serious?

  This is too hasty!"

Carlos had the feeling that he was being punked, and the one who punked himself was actually Hoffman, the Bean, which was a little hard for Carlos to accept!

"Are you sure this will work?"

Carlos had a hard time believing that those two rocks could easily get the attention of those bees!

  "Trust me, I'm a professional!"

Hoffman gave his usual goofy smile.

"Okay, I'll believe you for once!"

Carlos weighed the two stones in his hand and stepped out of the bushes with a heavy heart, and after tossing them twice, Carlos threw them directly at the beehive that hung high in the branches of the tree!

The rocks didn't even make much of a sound when they hit, and Carlos had deliberately scaled down his efforts, otherwise the one he'd just thrown would have been enough to punch through this beehive!

After the smash, more bees flew out from inside the hive, and that's when Carlos hit the second shot!

Those bees just watched as Carlos pelted their home with rocks!

Sure enough, as Hoffman had said, the bees were fixated on the culprit under the tree, namely Carlos.

Then Carlos guided the bees away!

"I don't know if Hoffman himself is reliable!"

Carlos thought as he ran, Carlos didn't use his light energy drive as he ran away because he was afraid that if he did, these bees wouldn't be able to find him.

Running is still not as fast as flying, after running for some time, Carlos was chased by a swarm of bees, in order to prevent himself from being stung, Carlos also made a small wall of ice with Frozen Exhale, it was as thick as a fist, and Carlos was running with such an ice cube on his back.

As for Hoffman at that moment, he had climbed the branch with a fitness of purpose and reached out to take the hive into his arms!

The action was fluid, and it looked like he hadn't done this much!

Hoffman made a palm-sized round hole in the hive after he got it first, and then his hand could be put in it to dip it into the honey and drink it!

Hoffman smiled a satisfied smile after tasting it, a look of intoxication on his face, and couldn't help but reach in and dip it in once more, a smile on his face, looking happy.

"I don't know if Hoffman got it or not, he should be done by now after I've run so far!"

Carlos thought this before turning to a stop and firing a burst of flame at the swarm still in pursuit!

In an instant a bunch of burnt bees fell from the swarm, even so the number of bees was still very considerable, dense, a small piece of darkness, can be taken as a stunted dark cloud!

These bees were still quite intelligent, and after realizing how powerful Carlos was, they gave up their pursuit of Carlos and turned around and flew away, looking like they might be going back!

  "Ugh, finally, no more running!

Wait, they went back not just" Carlos suddenly realized something was wrong!
