Gray looked up from Natu I eyed the area the ground in this area was very wet and there was a pond with lots of lily pad of Lombre, Lotad and a single one that looked of a hat that was a Ludicolo.

It was serene to look at the pond and its stillness until the Ludicolo as well as ten other lily pads moved to the shore of the pond and started to dance making clouds appear in the sky followed by heavy rain.

I got up and started moving away from the pond wanting to avoid being soaked. I walked for a while till it finally got dark.

Not wanting to be out without fire or a tent. Natu stayed on my shoulder as I went out into the grass to gather dried grass and sticks to start a fire to evade predators more specifically dark types which are predatory in nature.

quickly I returned to the area I was going to camp at and set up my tent and started my fire with flint and steel.

It took me seven attempts to start the fire. After the fire was big enough to be a normal campfire, I pulled out some berries and left them set out for Natu to eat I pulled out some jerky to eat and finally pulled my phone out for the first time since the incident that teleported me out here.

Finally, I opened my phone and pressed the emergency button on my phone broadcasting my location to the nearest ranger.

I finally went to sleep in my tent with Natu remaining outside I left the flap open in case he wanted to join.

??? pov from the pond

I sit watching and protecting my territory with the Ludicolo in my pond as part of our treaty after it did away with my mother after it came here to lay its brood.

I see a blue human and come out and warn it to stay away with my claws clacking them as a warning that I wasn't afraid to pinch them to get them to leave as they were running but gave off malice that I wasn't afraid to attack them.

seeing the human run into Shedinja territory I wasn't worried about him messing with us if he made it out.

I grinned at the thought of how he will deal with them as I sunk back into the pond to make myself comfortable closing my eyes to sleep.

I woke up again several hours later to the sound of another human this one was pink headed with a frightened disposition and a green and red bird they were interesting.

The Ludicolo talked about another pest intruding in their area and asked me to force them to leave I told them I'd like to watch them as they interested me.

Ludicolo was disapointed and took it into their own hands to get rid of them with rain as the pests normally leave after getting wet which wasn't wrong.

Soon enough the pink human left.

"I told you to get rid of them and you refuse to listen I think it's time for you to leave you aren't welcome if you won't listen."

"But this pond has been my home with my mother even before you came."

"If you stay you will end up like you mom food for my kin it's your choice."

"Fine if you will be like this I will leave and follow that pink human maybe they will treat me better than you."

With that I left never to look back.

I went in the direction that the pink human went I was not far behind.

It started to get dark, so the pink human went out to grab sticks and grass I was confused why they needed such useless items.

Finally, he stopped and set up a strange contraption made of a material that looked weak and lit up a strange light that moved it was something I'd never seen before.

They finally ate I was drooling at the sight of the red berry I would normally eat a Cherri berry

the Natu took a Perisim berry then rolled the Cherry berry in my direction not looking as if it knew I was always there.

I snatched it up and ate it slowly and eventually the human went to sleep a little while later

"Why do you follow us little Corphish I didn't report you as I foresaw no harm from you."

"I find this pink human interesting, and I felt excited for an opportunity after the boss Ludicolo told me to leave to not acting against the pink human."

"I see that Ludicolo seemed rude."

"He was a tyrant that killed my mother and basically said I can help protect his brood or leave after taking out my mom. Today I went against his orders in curiosity, and it brought me here."

"I see it seems you have a choice since I'm only staying till a ranger saves him. Your choice is to join this human on his journey or stay and find yourself another place to live." Natu flashed and disappeared for a moment and then came back holding a red and white ball.

"What would that ball do."

"Simple it's a contract that you will join this boy on their journey, and they will make you stronger than you could ever believe yourself to be. I see a not-so-distant future where you are strong enough to take on even the strongest of Pokemon with your power alone if you take this deal press the button and aim for that future."

With resolve Corphish pressed the button and was absorbed into the ball followed by two shakes and a click.

Gray Pov.

I woke up on the morning with a pokeball set by me. I grabbed it and checked outside the tent to see Natu.

"Were you digging through my bag."

"Natu" he shook his head and motioned towards the ball.

I pressed the button and out came a sleeping Corphish.

"Why do I have a Corphish."

Natu drew on the ground a circle and a rough drawing of me and drew an X on the Circle and drew an arrow to me.

"So, he was kicked out of his pond and followed me, so he wanted to join me. Strange I was almost certain you'd want to join me I guess I was wrong."

Natu shook his head in agreement.

"ALTARIA"

The dragon's voice was loud as it landed next to me a familiar face riding on its back.

"You just attract bad luck don't you." Ranger Tracy said worriedly.

"It's not my fault that this Natu jumped on me speaking of it needs to be relocated back to its home since it broke its ball."

"That is what I've heard from eyewitness Brendan. Now let's get you to the ranger station."

I returned the Corphish and Ranger Tracy put the Natu into a Pokeball.

Before I could even get on Missy a cracking sound came from the egg in my arms flashes of light came out of the cracks the egg slowly glowing completely and from the flash was a tiny green bird with green feathers around its body and white feathers on its face and underbelly.
