As I read the last line I started to feel a tingling sensation ripple across my body. My bones and flesh started to reshape and snap into place. Somewhere in the distant back of my mind, I felt like this should hurt but I felt nothing but a tingling sensation that somehow only felt skin deep. Even tho I knew that it was much more than just a skin-deep change.
Finally, the changes stopped and I regained control of my body once more.

Before I had even taken a good look at my status something slashed at me from behind. Tearing at my flesh and knocked me a good 10 feet before I came to a slow slide on the floor.

Rolling to my feet I took a good look at the animal that had attacked me..........what the hell is that!

Staring at the clawed earthworm in front of me I was disgusted by what I saw. A strange creature that looked like the small worm that I had tried to eat in the tower stairway that I had promptly spat out as it tasted nasty. But the worm in front of me was nether small or armless. As it possessed large claws that stuck out of its body attached to large and heavily muscled pink arms. Letting out a high pitch scream it charged at me. Acting on reflex I jumped the side and earned another scratch that went down my chest.
''Is this it is this where I die. But I haven't lived for nearly long enough''
as I slid across the ground I watched the worm slowly turn around is this how I really die

Grasping onto these emotions I held onto them with an iron will. Acting on instinct I thrust them forward and felt something leave me. The worm finally turning around lunged at me once more intending to finish me off.
Its face splitting open revealing rows and rows of razor-sharp teeth that glistened in the void of which I stared its mouth and didn't even flinch. Whatever I had done It felt powerful I felt no need to run. So I just stood still and watched as the worm got closer and closer.
The worm surprised as to why the strange-looking child in front of it stood still. Decided that its prey must have given up. And started to gloat in its head opening its mouth it intended to swallow the child whole. When suddenly a cold feeling spread through its body and its vision was split into two. Falling to the ground it spent its last moments confused staring at the child that still hadn't moved from its spot.
Falling to the ground I breathed deeply trying desperately to breathe in the copper tasting air.

Ignoring the sound in my head I felt an intense hunger resound through me.

Desperately looking around for food my eyes landed on the worm corpse. Dashing forward I latched onto the half of it on the ground biting on to it, I slowly started absorbed it into my body. Time lost meaning to me as I was fully engrossed in the task of eating the worm.

When I had finally come back from the hunger-induced insanity. I looked at the shrivelled husk of what was once half of the clawed earthworm. Glancing to my left I noticed that the other half had been dragged away.
For the first time since my arrival, I looked around at the surrounding area. It seems that I was dropped into a place where there were no trees and no matter where I looked only tall grass surrounded me. Actually, that's not true it was hard to see but, in the distance, I could make out the edge of a forest. Having nothing else to do I started towards the Forrest hoping to get there before the glowing ball of fire in the sky went down.
The journey was surprisingly uneventful the only thing that would warrant my attention was a large pond that I had discovered by accident. There was a lot of animals drinking, so I didn't interrupt and left but other than that I had been walking for the whole day I don't think I can get to the forest before the ball of fire goes down. Slowly my body started to tire I wanted to sleep. But I knew that sleeping in the open would be next to a death sentence.

Focusing I tried to shift my and started to feel my bones and flesh changing stopping the transformation I focused the feeling onto my arms. And they started to swell and increase in size growing into a pair of small arms identical to the ones the worm possessed.
