Held by the scruff of my neck I looked around with rapid interest at the surrounding area taking in the new sights as we trudged through the undergrowth. Now and then when I stared at an object intently symbols would pop up in my mind, that I could somehow understand even though the symbols were completely unfamiliar to me. Confused I would look around staring so intently at objects till my eyes would hurt.
It took longer then I am comfortable with to realize that it was describing the objects I was staring at.
But soon the strange looking plants looming over me(that I long ago learned were called trees) started to look boring and seemed that no matter where I looked they grew more and more numerous. The journey started to grow boring and I started to drift off into dreamless sleep.
----------an unknown amount of time later----------
A sharp halt jostled me from my sleep. snaping me to attention I looked around franticly. Searching for some sort of threat. Noting that there was no imminent danger I slowly calmed my breath and relaxed It seemed that we had arrived at our destination the animal that was gently holding my neck and tenderly placed me on the ground.
Lifting its head it let out a deep sound that sounded like mandibles clicking together but more organic and with more bass
*clack clack clack clack*
And after awhile a similar sound originating from the ground below us started to get louder.
staring at the ground with growing confusion the sounds grew closer '*clack clack clack* a patch of grass in front of us rippled and flipped open to reveal a creature that looked exactly like the animal that was carrying me except it had white streaks down its side's. The animal froze and stared at me confused.
Shaking its head and snorting it turned around apparently losing interest in me and granted us access to the hole in the ground. the original animal Picking me up once more it elegantly followed after the newcomer.
as we entered the hole I finally thought of scanning the animal carrying me to wherever.
Turning my head 180% degrees to stare at the animal the symbols appeared in my mind again appeared in my mind

the entrance behind us closed shutting off the only source of light. and cloaked me in darkness resulting in me staring into the void.
After a few seconds, my eye's started to adapt and I started to gain my sight back. As I looked around the tunnel I noticed extremely dull line's running down its sides glowing an eerie green so faint that I am sure that I would have probably not noticed them if my eyes didn't adapt.
as we reached the end of the tunnel a warm blue glow surrounded us and steadily grew brighter.
Squinting as we exited the tunnel the light was almost blinding to my eyes that had previously adjusted to the darkness. Blinking rapidly I decided to shut my eyes and spare myself from the pain that the light caused.
After a while from my self-imposed darkness, I slowly opened my eyes wincing as I opened them far too rapidly temporarily blinding myself.
Squinting as I looked around I tried to make sense of my surroundings.
Strangely shaped rocks surrounded me and even stranger looking animals that seemed to be coated with rocks that stood on two legs walked around seemingly aimlessly stopping at random rock's.

As we walked down the path they seemed to ignore us except for a few that seemed to stare at us for an uncomfortable amount of time before looking away seemingly uninterested.
Eventually, we arrived at a massive pillar of stone that stretched into the cavern ceiling that seemed to glow a bright blue light. The void walker that was leading the way suddenly stopped and stared at the void walker that was carrying me that I had just named midnight.
New name received: void walker now posses the name {midnight} given by s̸̡̫̈́̆͌͒̀͋ͅh̷̪͕̱̜͈̓̊́͑͆̌̒̄͗̚͝a̶̖̤̽̀p̴̢̡͚̯͚̥̯͇̣̘͇̙̜͖̤̈́͌̍̽̃̂͐͘̕e̸̦̳͇̟̊̐͑̀̾̍̽l̷̢͔̓̀̐̄̐͝ͅe̴̛̘̟͎͚̜͕̠̙̲͍̻͇̭̙̒͑͑̆͑̓̋̃̾͋̐̆̉̈́s̷̨̢̘̱̗͎͔̞̰̼̯͎̞̳̞͒̈́͑̽̽̓̂̽͐͝s̵̖̀͂͊̈́̿͒̇̂̂̍̆̂̈́͝ ̶̝̰̗̖̣̯̣̱͌̈́̈͛̿̈́́̂͒̀͜͝c̶̨̛̙̝̤̳̞̓̅̽̓͒́͒͑̊͠h̵͙̞̰̖̩̙̫͈̙̮̣̭̙̬̑̀̑̀̓͂͐̿͘ͅi̴͇̗̰̜̻̠͖͎͇̹͎̾͜l̷̨͙̳̓͐́̽̃͘͜͝͝d̴̹̑̿̽̕͝ ̴̐̈̽̐͊̊̿̿́̒̍ͅ (note this does not change the original name but is more like a nickname)
*huh* that's new. putting this new revelation to the back of my mind I focused on the void walker in front of me. while I was focusing on the void walker in front of me midnight placed me onto the ground. Nudging me forward he/she gave me an encouraging look.
Guess this is how far they will take me. Stumbling forward I realised that I had never once tried to walk in my entire life and then proceed to spend the next hour trying to teach myself how to walk and finally got my feet under me and confidently strutted forward ignoring the most likely bewildered faces of the void walkers behind me and entered the hole in the pillar.
I had lost count of how much time had gone by and I started to feel more and more agitated because of an unknown hunger that panged at my very core.
My footsteps echoed down the seemingly endless spiral where the only source of light was the glowing ceiling, that I quickly noticed was actually a coating of luminescent moss, that lit up whenever I walked under it.

coming to a halt I turned my head around to glance at the dimming passageway behind me sighing and shaking my head I prepared to start the long trek upwards again about 5 minutes later I noticed a faint light in front of me rapidly spinning my head around I dashed forward excited to finally escape the dim light of the moss.
Now running as fast as I could the light grew brighter and the spiral started to straighten out as I was running slowing down I came to a stop as I could feel a type of energy that seemed to pierce my skin with a growing caution I slowly approached the light slinking in the corners of the corridor
''I know you're there creature''
a deep rumbling sound blasted out from the room terrifying me jumping I rushed away from the sound as my very being told me that if I stayed I would die turning around I dashed about 6 metres and proceed to run into something disorienting me shaking my head I scratched against the invisible obstacle
''hmmm, it seems that you cant understand me *sigh* well I don't need you to understand me for what I'm about to do anyway DEEP SCAN!''
as I futilely attacked the invisible wall I felt something ripple through my body acting on instinct I repelled the foreign invader
''Ahhhhh WHAT HAVE YOU DONE''
Filled with newfound fear I frantically span around desperately trying to locate an escape path, as I looked around I noticed that in the middle of the room there was a creature that looked similar to one's outside, except the rocks that covered its skin seemed to glow a sickly green, and as if spitting on the face of gravity was floating in the middle of the room above a black platform.
Holding where I assume its eyes were screeching in pain.
''GOD DAMMIT MY MANA WHAT HAVE YOU DONE ''
the platform underneath him started to shake and tear and the rocks that covered him started to fall off.

''GODDAMMIT, THE RUNE NOOOOOOOOO''
the platform underneath the subterranean started to flash and the subterranean's voice grew more and more frequent.
*Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz*
the platform started to made a buzzing noise and flashed in a red light blinding my eyes.
The ground felt like it was dissolving and I ran around trying to get my footing back
