Week 4 - Cast

Ellu Hassadu - Literally "Divine Matrimony". Or "Holy Snu-Snu" if you like yellow people. The rite that ascends an Enshi or Lugal into Godhood. By mating with the high clergy of one of the gods (the god's gender doesn't matter, the clergy is the opposite sex as the Enshi or Lugal). Usually, a maiden with the highest magical power is selected. Upon consummation, both the ruler and the priest(ess) receive a blessing from the deity. This rite was falling into disuse due to the gods falling out of favor after their failure to prevent the Harbinger Cataclysm that destroyed the moon and created the phenomenon known as the Death Snow.

Mu-Hattusa - One of the influential aristocrats of the city during the rule of Es-Kina the Uncle, he was elevated to the position of the prime minister during the ascension of Nephew the Poisoned. He was the one that maneuvered to win the vote of the council before Sandra and Abil-Kisu could come and turn the tables with their votes. After having his son killed by a backlash by one of Nephew's schemes, he tried to kill Sandra or Nephew and died for that.

Mu-Hattusa's son - A promising sorcerer, groomed to greatness by his father, he was enticed to participate in one of Nephew's plots to try and dominate Sandra during her alleged weakness from cleansing the uranium. He might've succeeded in dominating her if she was really weakened but due to a timely and totally not suspicious cursed amulet given to Sandra by Nanna, her leaking mana problem was fixed through brute force and he suffered a heavy backlash from attempting to dominate a fully energized Sandra. That triggered his father to attempt murder and both were executed by Nephew to literally bury the loose ends.

Zuska - Fourteen years old sister to Arwia. She decided to become an apprentice to Madam Cloe the Seamstress. That was a very prestigious position, as madam Cloe is one of the only two women in the city council. Sandra is the other one.

Madam Cloe the Seamstress - Member of the city council and woman. For a society whose roots are in the Earth's Bronze Age where human lives were a penny a dozen, that is a lot. She hosted Brandon Al-Amir when he arrived as a refugee with Albert Samus and is very well regarded by the Guard Captain. Recently she was presented to the world of Japanese mobile app dress-up games and their lush fashion. It gave her ideas beyond her time (and space) and she is fervently making clothes for Sandra out of the bolts of silk obtained in Balthazar's wrecked caravan.

Barani the Cook - If you had to pick one person in the world to call a 'chef' that would be him. And he is still quite not there yet. Until Sandra stops hoarding that Le Cordon Bleu cookbook on her laptop, that is. Responsible for making food for Abil-Kisu's estate and guests (including Sandra the Freeloader), he is very curious about making some culinary-cultural exchange with the otherworlder heroine. He'd murder someone if he knew what Sandra has hidden in her digital storage.

Purity Vodka Bottle - Honorable mention to a most exquisite spirits bottle from another world. One deemed by the merchant tycoon Abil-Kisu as a gift worthy of a King. It goes to illustrate that one world's trash is another world's National Treasure. If it only was that easy.

Nanna the Witch - No longer in the caravanserai, the witch stuck to Sandra to mooch a piece of the good life. Made heinous amounts of gold selling enchanted eyes through Abil-Kisu. She has vast knowledge about the gods and Sandra suspects she might be a priestess at one point or another in her life (might even have done Ellu Hassadu in the past - naughty witch!). She is also known to present enchanted items with impeccable dramatic timing. If that isn't suspicious to you, you are skimming the novel.

Belili - Eleven years old, had her birthday while Sandra was doing some 80's dance with monsters and the undead in the belly of the earth. Lowercase E because it is not the Earth. She considers herself a woman now because she gained the magical power to make babies. And yes, it is magical, even on Earth, capital E. Shush.

Jasper- Abil-Kisu head scribe and accountant. He was on the verge of a new discovery that would revolutionize his world's accounting and then Sandra taught him double-entry bookkeeping. Which was almost exactly what he was about to discover. Spoilsport transmigrator! Anyway, he is a result-focused person and cared not for the laurels of his effort to be snatched from him one "Eureka" moment away.

Bur-Maat - A poor townsmen whose wife died in one of the city fires. After selling his plot of land to Sandra, he departed to find new life away from the sad memories.
