"This is my gang, my group, the ones that I shall challenge the entire world with and win come the nine hells or the depths of the abyss. That is why I have brought you together, to win, no matter the opponent that we would face. I shall ask this only once, are you with me?" I asked the group of adventurers that I had put together. A pair of thief and healer siblings that may yet add warlock to their Repertoire. A wizardly necromancer with a sense of presentation. One of the best alchemical artificers around and a druidic ranger with three wolf pups to train up into fine hunting beast.
"We will follow you if you will lead us to great fortune and adventures plenty. Make the gold flow like water over the falls and we shall drink of the rivers of wealth whatever may come." Said the thief for the entire group of miscreants that I had put together. All heads nodded in agrement as they got ready to go on a long trip. Three months in the field to build up funds for each to prusue their own goals.
"Just for the gold and glory? I like that, we shall be both rich and powerful that I can assure you of." Stated Sasha as matter of factly as she could. Like it was just a forgone conclusion and nothing else.
"First we shall take 3 months worth or requests and then go about a days walk away to my cabin. There we shall start our hunts and use it as a home base for our other activities. With it like that we can come back with fist fulls of gold and earn even more." Sasha had planned all this out on the journey over to the city in the first place.
Her plans had changed somewhat on the way over but all in all they shaped up just right.
"I will need to make arangment for my shop and prepare potions in advanced on our next trip but that shouldn't be to much trouble. I would request that anything we come across I be allowed to use for potions and expermintation." Said the Goblin named Smithy.
"Lets steal a dragons hord!" Ironically it was the Dark Elf named Drassisa that said that instead of her brother who I now knew was named Embrda.
"I am going to be a vampire, not a werewolf but a vampire." Teamasa reafirmed to make sure that everyone knew that.
Tess just sat there playing with the pups while this was all going on. Looking at us like a bunch of fools and smiling the whole time for it.

'Lets see, Chimera killing check, Hydra killing check, Hellhound killing check.' These are all high values targets that will be close to us reletavly speaking, add in all of the other things that we can kill on the journey over and we have bank. Lets add in several dire wolf dins that have been harrassing traders and merchants as well as this oger slaying request and we will make out with around a thousand to a thousand five hundred gold all each.

"Its dangerious but if we act like adults and not stupid children swinging swords like sticks we should be able to take on all of them and not have to worry to much. All together we will come out with plenty of alchemy ingreadients and other things to sell along with bodies for Tea and there should be a bandit camp somewhere in the hills for added gold." Sasha stated while laying out her plan to her new team.
With this much in all only Smithy and Embrda could have made that much money in three months. Even then it would have to be their busy season with nothing going wrong. Possible but there was a reason that old adventures were all either rich or dead. You got good or you got slow and died, good hunters catch their prey the slow ones starved. They allow for no other outcome.
"Are we all in agreament on this or does anyone else have somethings to say or request." Sasha asked preparing to submit the details for the hunt that they were going on.
Teamasa spoke up and asked "could we also take out a group of bugbears that were killing local hunters in the nearby hunting village. There is no reward but we could sell the bodies or I could use them to make Ghoul's. Imagine that bugbear sized ghouls to take our targets by suprise."
"Bugbears added to the list, any objections, none good then. Is there anything else, no, alright then lets submit this and be on our way."

After submiting the request to the receptionist we headed for the city gates. A thief was picking pockets the entire way there, throughout the guild and on everone that we passed on the way. Guards included!
'Would you stop that and at least take every third mark if you insist on this. I wont stop you but come on man be subtle at the very least.' Sasha said under her breath and the thief adjusted who he took from to match the request.
'Don't worry I will split what I take with the team so we shall all benifit form my kleptomania', Embrda said while smiling.
'Thank you kindly for understanding and helping to fill our war chest. We will need to gather many of them as time goes on and having funds to start gathering with will always be useful.' Tea said while looking to her side.
'If that is the case I could always charge a little when I heal people where ever we end up at. There is always someone that lost a hand or eye doing something in the country side and even that is really just free money sense it cost me nothing to do in the first place.' Drassisa stated calmly for the group to hear.
'Why are we still whispering' asked Smithy while looking around confused at the others.
'I think it is just the atmosphere of it that has everyone giddy' said Tess while being followed by three wolf pups that were acting all high and mighty.
'Little bit I will admit' said Tea under her breath while enjoying herself a little more.

Outside the gate and on the road the adventure team walked before deciding that walking was for suckers and hitched a ride with the nearist wagon going their way for as long as it would take them. They just had to sit there and look menacing and the merchant would pay them gold. A simple deal for avoiding being caught up in trouble if you had some guards that were willing to crack a few skulls together for the sake of it.
After that wagon had to turn off they started walking in the direction that they were going before. It was a good way to make some extra money for little work and knowing a few skilled merchants to have in your corner was always a good thing when bringing up atrifacts from dungeons when you had no notion of there true worth.
