Chapter 14 - True Justice

The neighs of the horses and the noise the camels made, orchestrated a symphony that could  wake up the most tired of men. The stableman opened his eyes slowly reaching for his forehead, in an attempt to ease his headache.  The big bump was still in its place. 

He was atop a pile of hay, that was used as the main food for the animals of the stable.

He got out, walking slowly. In front of him, he witnessed the largest number of mountable animals, from horses and camels to cows and sheep, he had ever seen.

He made another step and as he got out of the stable he looked behind him.

On all the walls, with almost no exception, there was this phrase written in large letters: 

"FREE STABLE FOREVER"

The stableman tried approaching a wall dumbstruck, to erase the paint, realizing that there was no way for the letters to be removed.

He turned his look towards the countless creatures in front of him and taking an apathetic expression he said to himself: "Well, I'm screwed..."
