Jonathan looked around at the destruction around him. Giant creatures that were more powerful than anything he had ever seen roamed the skies.
Different colors of fire came out of their mouths as their eyes caused fear and shock in the eyes of everyone. There was no order whatsoever. Screams erupted from everyone as they pushed to get out of the range of the fire.
But, it was no use. The fire spread far and wide and killed everything in its path or range. Even the shockwave was enough to kill any normal person.
The sky had a red color as an evil aura pressed out of it. More screams erupted as lightning struck down killing more people.
No matter how strong anyone was they were all destroyed by the lightning. But some still had hope. For there was one of the Five Great Rulers fighting for their lives.
Heene Smith urgently shot arrows out of his bow. Each arrow would cause massive destruction wherever they were shot.
WHOOSH~
As quick as lightning four heaven-defying arrows were shot out of his bow. But as they landed on the dragon's skin, the arrows were completely destroyed. The eyes of many opened with shock as they continued to run and scream.
Heene only smiled at the dragon as he already knew his fate along with the others running, there was no escape.
He looked up at the sky and decided he would at least try to take down the one that caused all of this. With a loud shout, Heene loaded up his bow and arrow and infused all of his power into it, "HAAAAAA!"
"Golden Streak!"
BOOM~
A golden arrow flew out of the bow aiming for the sky. The brightness of the arrow scared off the closest dragon to it. Soon the single arrow turned into a massive arrow that would pierce the sky.
CLANK~
But, it didn't. Before it would touch the sky a giant black hand came out of the sky completely blocking the arrow and destroying it. Heene stared up at the hand in shock and fear.
Its power was scarier than all the dragons combined. He only laughed as the craze began to engulf him. The land swiftly swooshed down to Heene, destroying his body as everything around it as if it was nothing.
But it was gone as quickly as it came and the dragons went back to their usual business destroying everything in their path.

Jonathan witnessed all of this and knew there was no escape. Instead of running away from the dragon's breath he stood his ground and let death approach him.
.....
"Ah!"
Jonathan opened his eyes as he felt a sharp pain from his back. He was surprised because he found himself laying down on a bed.
He wore pajamas as confusion struck him. He remembered that he had clearly died. Why was he alive laying down on his bed?
Jonathan quickly got up and looked around and found his phone. He quickly checked the time in hopes of figuring what the date and time were.
Shock struck his face as he realized it was exactly one hour before the world would go through its supposed change. But Jonathan did not panic. He had gone through so much. It wasn't rare to have to adapt to a struggle during battle, even for a middle tier like Jonathan.
He knew that this was a chance. A chance to start over and grow to new heights and potentially save the world.
The thought of being able to save the world made Jonathan snicker. It was something he would never be able to even think before. Now, if he tried hard enough, the chances were above 0% at least.
His first course of actions was to get materials to prepare for the Trial Zone. Jonathan remembered the Trial Zone clearly. It was the moment everything changed.
The moon would become a red color and animals would begin to mutate. The world... would in a way begin to evolve. The air would be invaded with magic and its purity would increase.
Humans were able to survive because of the introduction of the System. From the moment everything changed a system would be accessible for everyone. It was only after a full day of fighting and confusion that someone was able to understand and use the system.
From that point on humans began to win the battle between monsters. But the system wasn't the only newly accessible tool that was available for use. Although it allowed humans to gain inhumane strength and speeds it was only a portion of the true power humans would be able to wield.
Skills and Accessories became the foothold of the new world. They appeared in random locations and with random requirements so nobody was able to abuse skills or accessories.
Some accessories from before the change would become great tools that could be used to fight monsters, but the chances of that happening were extremely low.
Jonathan quickly left his dorm room and walked to a convenience store nearby. He bought some food to go and necessities to make sure he survived.
But there was one problem that Jonathan realized, "I don't have a suitable weapon to fight monsters..." He had amassed great items before his reincarnation. If they were still with him, any monster that appeared from the Trial Zone could be destroyed with a single hit.
Jonathan let out a sigh as he thought about his weapons and his past prospects. Although he wasn't a high up official or someone with insane strength, he was incredibly strong for a middle tier and he took pride in that. But he was struggling to forget all of that. He had to struggle to remember that he was no different from an ordinary human at this point.
A thought flashed through his mind as he realized something...
An hour quickly passed and Jonathan waited outside of his room for everything to begin. He had his backpack strapped to his back. Everything he needed was packed in it. He looked like was going on a trip.
Jonathan looked up to see the moon in the sky change. At the time he expected it the moon began to grow. A red light radiated around it. A deep aura of destruction flashed throughout the entire world as the move began moving.
A red light flashed down and passed through the entire world. Despite having already been through this once Jonathan was still fearful. This was his one and only chance to make things better. His one chance to fix it all.
