"So, Annabelle, any luck with finding work for us?"
A few more days had passed, mostly job searching from Annabelle as Casper continue to follow through with his plans.
Annabelle perked up at that. "Yes! I managed to find a few leads on some potential work for us, depending on the type of work you are fine with doing" she rubbed her hand through her hair a bit "my type of works and yours might be rather different, so I got some options for us to look over"
"Good"
"Here you are then" she brought some parchment over to the small end table, containing simple words and images and a few stamps, seals, and symbols. Literacy wasn't particularly common Casper found out, so it made sense to use identifying marks or seals to help those who are not too well with words find the kind of work they are looking for.
Out on the table was in fact a good collection of job options ranging from normal to a bit more dangerous, for the average person that is. The first job on the table was calling for the head of a Hobgoblin, and extra gold for the heads of any additional goblins, some place in the mountains near a less common trade route. Not a bad option for some quick cash at least.
The second job is acting as muscle for a merchant deal between a fairly wealthy man and some merchants from across the sea. He seems to be willing to pay quite a sum but the job at a glance appeared dirty. Not a bad option either but potentially difficult if he intended to stay laying low...relatively.
The 3rd job option was calling for the rescue of a girl from some kidnappers. If she wasn't found soon she would likely be sold off and the family is willing to pay for her safe return. This one was posted two days ago, it might be tight, but possible, and the last job on the table was of particular interest, Casper though. With no indication of who it was from, it simply read that an interested party would like several mushrooms delivered to the mouth of a cave, and that payment would find them soon after.

"I think we can get a few of these done...it's just a matter of finding out what we have time for, what we can do, and how fast we can do it. We can also split up, need be, and hammer these out at the same time to pool our cash and save time. Think we can handle that? Casper looked to the two girls, their expressions that of joy and eagerness.
"Yes! Please allow me to repay you for my blunder the other day by doing a job for us. I assure you I will not let you down." Annabelle smiled wide, clearly mostly interested in the possibility of smashing some heads in.
Casper looked over to Elisayra, who mirrored the enthusiasm "please, let me prove to you my usefulness sir" she bowed her head respectfully.
"Good, good, in that case I will take the mushroom job"
the two looked to each other, evidently confused by this, but didn't say anything else.
"I will be the muscle for the dock transaction" Annabelle added.
"Won't they be reluctant, because you are a woman?" Casper cocked his head, and Annabelle frowned
"likely so, I may not even receive full pay for the work, but it is all I can confidently do on my own. As fun as slaying goblins is, It wouldn't be possible with a party of this size, regardless of your ability to take down a hunter. I pray that you will forgive me if i cannot receive the full pay myself for the guard job, but I will do my best"
That response satisfied Casper enough "if they don't give you full pay, you let me know and ill deal with it myself after, alright?"
Annabelle nodded, and Casper then turned to Elisayra, who was looking over the detailed jobs.
"I'm not much of a strong fighter...I can, need be though. I will take the job of returning the girl to her parents. I feel I can do that well'' she looked up to Casper "is this acceptable sir?"
Casper nodded "good, I doubt you will have to deal with the same pay issues as Annabelle, also, feel free to take anything you can while dealing with the kidnappers. The more the better. I trust your eye and your deft hands" Casper said, holding out his hand for his dagger. Which Elisayra produced with the slightest indication of a smile and set it into Casper's hands. Maybe she had hoped he would have forgotten.
"Very good, lets not waste any more time then. I look forward to hearing about how this all transpired and seeing the benefits of our efforts come this time tomorrow"
