Chapter 037

No True Victors

As Hironaka gets close to Riku, he tries to slash Riku but Riku dodges it and hits him with the back of his Sasumata in his stomach and kicks Hironaka in the stomach as well sliding him back and Hironaka is *shocked* and Hironaka rushes Riku and starts slashing towards him but Riku's able to dodge and deflect all of his slashes with his Sasumata until he uses his wind to stop Hironaka's sword mid swing and Riku slashes Hironaka with his Sasumata across his chest and Riku punches him in the face launching him back and Hironaka is able to land on his feet and Hironaka is *shocked* and says

“All of the stories told about you said you couldn’t fight and when it came to being up close you could be killed with ease, but you we’re always just holding back huh? But humor me, why?” Riku says

"I told you, you talk too much!" Riku throws his Sasumata at Hironaka and Hironaka is able to dodge it as Riku rushes him and Riku uses his wind to pull the Sasumata back towards Hironaka's back but as it gets close to Hironaka a ice wall shoots out of the ground and the Sasumata slams into the wall getting stuck halfway through it and as Riku gets close to Hironaka, Hironaka tries to punch him but Riku dodges his punch and hits him twice in the stomach and Hironaka tries to kick him but Riku blocks it and uppercuts him knocking Hironaka back into the ice wall and Riku puts his hand together creating a wind spear and he stabs towards Hironaka but Hironaka is able to dodge the strike and Riku stabs the spear through the ice wall and the ice on the wall flows onto the spear freezing it and causing it to get stuck as Hironaka spins behind Riku and he slashes Riku across his back and Riku falls to the ground and *screams in pain*

At the same time Itsuki,Dai, and Kenji have made it to the outside of the water dome and there able to see through it and Itsuki and Dai let go of Kenji and sits him on the ground and they both try to push through the water dome but they can't and Dai gets *angry* and says

"Where the hell did this thing come from!?" Itsuki says

"It has to have been Hironaka, he's trying to keep us out so he can beat Riku" Dai says

"Not if I can help it!" Dai covers his hand in fire and punches the dome but his fist bounces off of the dome and Dai is *shocked* but Itsuki says

"We need to really focus on where we strike, if we strike together we should be able to break through it" Dai says

"Fine!" Itsuki hands surge with his lightning as Dai's fire surges hotter across his hands and they both swing and punch the same spot on the water dome sending a giant ripple effect across it and Dai is *shocked* and says

"It worked! I can feel it, we can get through it!" Itsuki says

"We just need to keep going, but we need to be in sync with all of our strikes" Itsuki and Dai both start relentlessly punching the dome sending ripple effect all over the dome as Kenji slowly gets to his feet and sees Riku on the ground with a bloody slash on his back and he thinks

"Riku...No!" Kenji slowly walks up to the dome and he puts his hand up towards the dome but nothing happens and he thinks

"What!? Why can't I move this water?" Kenji puts his hand on the water dome but his hand is suddenly frozen as the water flows onto his hand and he *screams in pain* and falls to the ground and slams his hand on the ground allowing him to close his hand and he thinks

"That ice is far colder than mine! I can't get through it" But Kenji looks up and sees Riku on the ground as Hironaka steps closer to him and Kenji thinks

"But I have too, just give me a little time Riku" Kenji slowly gets to his feet and he covers his hand in his ice and he puts it next to the dome but he is *shocked* and thinks

"Even at my coldest, it still feels like I can't match it. Riku I'll need even more time, please hold out" Kenji closes his eyes and puts his hands together and all of his ice starts flowing towards his hands

At the same time Hironaka stands over Riku and watches as Riku slowly gets back to his feet and Riku points his hand at his wind spear and the wind spears starts violently spinning until it explodes destroying the ice wall around his Sasumata and he uses his wind to pull it to his hand and Riku turns around and faces Hironaka but Hironaka steps back and says

"What are you going to do about your back? Your going to lose a lot of blood before we finish our fight" Riku puts his hand on his chest and closes his eyes and his wind flows around his chest onto his back and pulls the cut skin around the slash mark back together and Hironaka is *shocked* and says

"Your extremely resourceful, I am truly sad about this pointless bloodshed" Riku walks up to Hironaka and tries to stab Hironaka but Hironaka grabs the pole of the Sasumata stopping it and Hironaka stabs towards Riku's stomach but a clone of Riku made out of wind appears behind Riku and reaches forward grabbing Hironaka’s blade stopping it in place and Hironaka is *shocked* but Riku pushes his Sasumata forward with all of his strength stabbing Hironaka in the stomach and Hironaka *screams in pain* and Hironaka jumps back while holding his stomach and says

“You really are something different” Hironaka stabs his blade into the ground and drags his sword forward slashing towards Riku launching a giant shards of ice towards him and Riku dodges the ice and he walks towards Hironaka but suddenly the ground starts shaking as pillar of ice starts up through the ground but Riku is able to dodge it but as he looks back towards Hironaka he's gone and he's *confused* but he's *shocked* as he look around and sees there are hundreds of ice pillars all around the dome and he thinks

"So your using this pillars as cover, all right then. Where are you?" As Riku looks around he sees Hironaka inside one of the pillars of ice and Riku opens his hand making a spear and he throws it at the ice and it explodes but Hironaka isn't inside it and Riku keeps looking around and Riku thinks

"He's using the ice to misdirect me with false images so he can attack me from behind, ok. I know how to handle this" Riku punches his hand into the ground and the ground starts shaking once again as a tornado forms on top of him and as it starts spinning wind spears starts launching from all sides of the tornado stabbing all of the ice pillars and sending hundreds of wind spears bouncing off of the sides of the water dome as the tornado disappears Riku is meditating on the ground as all of the ice pillars simultaneously explodes destroying all of the ice pillar and as the ice flies into the air it all changes into daggers and they start flying towards Riku but Riku doesn't stop meditating as all the daggers get close all of the wind spears change direction and stab through the daggers as they get close but suddenly multiple of the daggers fuse together and the wind spears stab into it but it doesn't shatter as it stabs Riku in the stomach and Riku *screams in pain* and falls onto his back but suddenly the giant dagger in his stomach turns into to water and flows across his entire body is encasing him in ice except for one of his eyes and Itsuki, Dai and Kenji are all *shocked* and screams

"NO!" Dai and Itsuki starts frantically punching the water dome as Kenji slams his hand into the dome and he *screams in pain* as his hand is being frozen but he slowly starts pushing his hand through the dome as Riku watches Hironaka rises out of the water on the ground and Hironaka puts his hand into the air causing two walls of ice to pop up out of the ground blocking all of the incoming wind spears as there all stabbed into the walls and Hironaka steps up to the ice Riku is encased in and he puts his foot on the ice and says

"I hope you truly don't hate me to much, I just have people I need to get back to" Hironaka points his hand at the ice and it fully encases Riku's body but as one of the wind spears flies above both of the walls and it explodes causing a chain explosion of all the wind spear sticking into the ice wall and as the walls are destroyed hundreds of wind spears starts flying towards Hironaka but none of them stab him, they just circle him and Hironaka slams his foot into the ground launching ice walls up around him freezing all of the wind spears in place and Hironaka *smiles* but suddenly Riku's voice rings out saying

"That was the worst thing you could do" Hironaka is *shocked* as he turns around and sees Riku on the other side of the ice wall as all of the wind spears simultaneously explode creating a giant tornado around Hironaka and hundreds of winds spears bounce around the tornado and Hironaka blocks as multiple of the spears slash Hironaka all over his body and he puts his hand up but one of the spears stab Hironaka in the stomach and he *screams in pain* but Hironaka consumes one of his planets and the energy he pushes out destroys the tornado and knocking Riku back as Hironaka lands on the ground he looks at his body as his blood starts falling from all of the slashes and says

"I've underestimated you, but that won't happen again!" Hironaka puts his hands together and creates another ice sword as Riku gets to his feet and he uses his wind to pull his Sasumata to his hand and as they lock eyes, Riku thinks

"He's strong, I really gotta be on guard" They both rushes each other and as they get close Hironaka goes into a high stance and slashes down towards Riku but Riku’s able to catch his sword with his Sasumata and before Hironaka can react Riku twist his Sasumata snapping Hironaka's sword in half and Riku punches him in the stomach pushing Hironaka back but Hironaka rushes back up to him and he tries to punch Riku but Riku dodges his punch and stabs him in the stomach with his Sasumata and Hironaka *screams in pain* but suddenly another clone of Riku appears behind Riku with a wind spear and stabs Hironaka through the shoulder as Riku lifts him into the air with his Sasumata and slams him into the ground and Hironaka spits up blood and Hironaka is breathing heavy and thinks

“Looks like I should have been more careful…Now I have no other option. I’m sorry Mother I can’t save you all, but I still wish I would have gotten to see my home once more before I died” Riku lets go of his Sasumata and puts his foot on Hironaka's chest and creates a wind spear in his hand and he raises the spear above his head but as he looks down at Hironaka, he hesitates and suddenly Hironaka activates his sun wrapping himself in flames but it’s so much force Riku is launched back and he slams against the dome but as his back hits the dome it freezes and he *screams in pain* and drops to the floor and he slowly starts to gets back to his feet and thinks

"No! He activated that same power as Matsuno, he was to strong for even Sensei to beat! But I can't quit...I'll have to find a way to outsmart him, a head up fight won't work" Riku makes it to his feet but as he looks up Hironaka is already in his face and Hironaka slashes him across his chest and Riku spits up blood and falls back to the ground and everyone’s *shocked* and Itsuki screams

“RIKU NO!” Dai and Itsuki elements surge and they both start relentlessly striking the dome and there sending ripples all across it even faster and Hironaka notices the dome starts shaking extremely hard and he looks up and sees Itsuki and Dai punching the dome and thinks

"Wow, they truly won't give up. I'm sorry to have to be the one to show all of you the true brutality of the world" Hironaka looks down at Riku and says

"I'm not a monster like Matsuno, I won't burn you alive. I'll give you a fair chance to fight, but I know you cannot go any farther. So I must say I'm sorry Riku" Riku slowly starts to get to his feet and Hironaka walks behind Riku and says

"I hope you don't hate me to much, because I truly am sorry" Riku with his back to Hironaka opens his hand pulling his Sasumata out of his stomach and he catches it and turns around and tries to stab Hironaka but Hironaka catches his Sasumata and Riku is *shocked* and thinks

"He didn't even react to me pulling my Sasumata out! H-" Suddenly Hironaka stabs Riku through the stomach and Riku *screams in pain* as he falls back onto the floor and Kenji,Ituski and Dai are all *shocked* and Kenji screams

“RIKU!” Dai screams

“NO!” Riku tries to get up but he can’t even lean up and Riku thinks

"I can't move...It feels like my bodies shutting down. Focus, control your breathing...I'll need to use my wind to get my Sasumata to get me back on my feet" Riku puts his hand up and uses his wind to starts pulling his Sasumata towards him but Hironaka cuts his hand off and Riku *screams in pain* and he starts *crying* as he's trying to stop the blood and Itsuki screams

“STOP! TAKE ME! PLEASE!” Kenji *screams in pain* as he starts trying to push through the dome even harder and he starts slowly passing through but as he is slowly passing through his body is also freezing and Kenji *screams louder in pain* but he keeps pushing himself through and Dai activates his fire gauntlets causing them to surge hotter than ever melting the ground around them as he starts relentlessly striking the dome as Itsuki summons his sword as it's surging with so much lightning it causes lightning to start falling from the sky as well and with every slash to the dome lightning simultaneously strikes the top of the dome and Riku thinks

"Breath...I'm ok, I have to keep fightning. Sensei wouldn't stop, so I can't either!" Riku looks over and notices his Sasumata is within reach and he reaches out for it but Hironaka steps on his arm and cuts his other hand off and Riku *screams in pain* as Hironaka says

“I take no pleasure in any of this, Riku just please stop. I truly don’t want to do this” But Riku puts both his feet on the ground and uses his wind boost himself off of the ground causing Hironaka to slide back and Hironaka says

“You’ve lost both of your hands, there’s nothing else you can d–” But Riku boost the wind across his foot launching him forward and he kicks Hironaka in his stab wound in his stomach causing Hironaka to spit up blood but as Riku lands on the ground he spinning heel kicks Hironaka in the chin making him slide back and Hironaka grabs his chin and is *shocked* and says

“You really won’t stop, will you?” Dai screams

"DON'T QUIT RIKU! YOU CAN DO IT!" Itsuki absorbs his sword as his hands surges with his lightning and he screams

"I KNOW YOU'LL WIN! YOU GOT THIS RIKU!" Itsuki continues striking in the same spot as Dai and they both starts swinging even more violently and Kenji pushes even harder and Riku looks over at them and thinks

"I won't quit, I can't quit. I've made to many promises to let them all be for nothing, I'll make it out of here and come save you Sensei" Riku rushes Hironaka and starts kicking towards him but Hironaka is able to dodge all of his kicks until Riku stomps on the floor creating a tornado right on top of Hironaka and Riku flips back and kicks the air creating wind spears launching them into the tornado stabbing Hironaka all over his body but as Hironaka puts his hand up it turns to ash and he is *shocked* and thinks

“Damn it, he’s pushing me this hard already. If I don’t end him now I’m going to die for nothing” Hironaka surges with his fire destroying the tornado and the wind spears in his chest and he rushes Riku and as he gets close he summons another Ice sword and he tries to slash Riku but Riku boost the wind across his whole leg and he kicks Hironaka’s sword destroying it and Riku uses his wind to boost him into the air and he starts spinning around boosting the wind on his leg again and he kicks towards Hironaka but the pressure of his wind is too much and it breaks Riku's leg as he kicks Hironaka in the face launching him back and Riku falls to the ground but Riku stifles his *cries of pain* and he slows his breathing and thinks

"My leg...It's fine, I created distance and I should be able to keep going. I just need to get up" But as Riku looks up he lock eyes with Hironaka standing over him and Hironaka summons his sword again and cuts Riku’s legs off and Riku *screams in pain* and Hironaka stabs him in the chest with his sword causing Riku to start spitting up blood and Hironaka says

“You are a good fighter Riku, but I’m–” But Riku fires a compressed wind shot from his mouth hitting Hironaka in the face pushing him back and Hironaka is *shocked* and he uses his hand to block all the compressed wind shots coming out of Riku's mouth and he thinks

"No legs, no arms, holes and slashes all over his body and he still won't quit!" As he makes it up to Riku, Hironaka stomps on him on the chest knocking all of the wind out of him and Hironaka puts his hand into the air as another sword forms in his hand.

Dai continues punching the dome but he simultaneously breaks both of his hands and he *screams in pain* but he continues to punch at the dome as his fire starts to burn him and Itsuki is *screaming in pain* from his lightning electrocuting him as well but he doesn’t stop punching the dome and Kenji is partially frozen but he's just made it inside of the dome and he slowly runs towards Riku and screams

“NO!” Riku looks over at Kenji and *smiles* as Hironaka cuts Riku’s head off and as Kenji is running he *screams in anger* causing his ice to surge all around him and as it does Kenji’s ice causes the dome to freeze and shatters the entire doom and Hironaka looks over at Kenji but he's *terrified* as he notices the dark silhouette with his blood red eyes standing behind Kenji and Hironaka steps back and thinks

"He's back already!?" Hironaka turns but Kingsman appears next to Hironaka and Kingsman throws a punch towards Hironaka but Kenji jumps in the way and tries to punch Hironaka and Kingsman turns around and punches the sun splitting it in half and sending shock waves all over space and Kingsman turns back around and stares at earth as his darkness starts violently surging all over him and he flies so fast through space everything completely stops moving as Kingsman makes it back to the battle field he grabs Hironaka by the neck and flies him back into space and he lifts his hand to punch but as he’s flying the space in front of him starts to distort and suddenly the space in front of him shatters and he looks back and sees the walls separating the universes shattered and he looks back at Hironaka and punches Hironaka through the stomach and Hironaka spits up blood and is *shocked* and thinks

"When did I get in space!? I can't breath!" Hironaka looks down and sees the Kingsman arm through his stomach and he looks back up at Kingsman but he's *terrified* and Kingsman screams

“YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO DIE YET!” Kingsman darkness starts covering Hironaka's body as Kingsman yanks his stomach out of Hironaka's stomach and Hironaka starts hearing voice and feeling hands touching him all over his body and he thinks

"What is this!? What did he just do to-" Kingsman punches Hironaka putting a hole in his chest but his body reverts back and Hironaka holds his *chest in pain* and thinks

"This pain is unbearable!" Hironaka opens his mouth but Kingsman grabs him by his throat and crushes his windpipe and says

"Don't you dare speak to me!" Kingsman starts hitting Hironaka with a barrage of punches but everyone of Kingsman’s hits puts a hole in Hironaka but Kingsman's darkness is continuously reverting Hironaka's body back until Kingsman kicks him in the chest sending Hironaka flying down and slams into a planet breaking all of Hironaka's bone but as Kingsman's darkness covers more of his body the more of his body that reverts back and he's able to slowly make it to his feet Hironaka coughs and grabs his throat but he's *shocked* as he looks around and sees a small house and says

“Is this…My home!?” Hironaka senses something behind him and he turns around and is *shocked* as he sees shadowy figures of an old man and women and The Old Man says

"Hironaka, is that you?" The Old Women says

"My baby, it can't be!" They start walking towards him but Hironaka drops to his knees and says

"Mom...Dad, I made it. I've missed you all so much! I'm sorry I took this long, please forgive me!" But as a little girl walks from behind his parents Hironaka *breaks down in tears* and says

"Yui!? Little sister, I'm back! I promise, I'm not leaving this time!" Hironaka reaches out for them and they all put there hands out to him and step closer to him but they all suddenly turn and run away from him and he screams

"WAIT PLEASE DON'T LEAVE!" Hironaka turns around and looks into the air and sees Kingsman darkness starts surging across his entire body and Hironaka thinks

"What have I unleashed on the world!?" Kingsman holds his head as he *screams in pain* and Kingsman’s body starts to morph as tenticals start emerging from his back but he gets a flashback of Riku saying

“Kingsman is my father” Kingsman screams as he opens his eyes but one of Kingsman’s eyes goes back to it’s original amber color as he’s turning around *holding his head in pain* and he sees the sun in his universe is about becoming extremely unstable and Kingsman thinks

“Calm…Down! We need…To stop the sun! Focus on everything you have left, the one's you still have to protect. DO NOT FAIL THEM AS WELL!” Kingsman's darkness slowly stops surging and Kingsman’s body goes back to normal and Kingsman sheds a tear and thinks

“I’m sorry my son… I couldn’t protect you. But allow me to honor you” Kingsman looks back through the shatter universe wall and sees his sun is starting to supernova and he looks at the sun in the universe he is standing and sees it's intact and Kingsman snaps his finger and the suns switches and as Hironaka is staring at Kingsman, he sees Kingsman pulling his sword out of his hand and Hironaka sits back down on the ground and says

“We should have listened…All of the stories about you. All lords that I've followed never wanted you as an enemy, but Lord Kei would never want to seem as if he was afraid of you. So we had no choice, but to go to war with you for that. I followed a man with to much to prove and now an entire universe will suffer for it. I should have truly been cautious, but I never truly understood the fear around your name alone. At least not to the extent I should have...Until now” Kingsman raises his sword into the air and he uses

“Heavenly Strike” Kingsman slashes down but as he does the entire universe starts shaking, Hironaka is *shocked* as he looks around and sees everything around him split in half and he looks towards the sun and sees it's also split in half and he says

“With one swing…He split everything! Every planet, the stars, and the sun itself… You truly are… A Monster!” Kingsman flies back through the destroyed wall back into his universe and he uses

"Reversion" To reseal the shattered wall in his universe.

At the same time Kenji has fallen from his swing and Kenji gets back to his feet and looks around for Hironaka as he screams

“WHERE ARE YOU!? FACE ME YOU BASTARD! I'LL KILL YOU!” Dai and Itsuki both drop to there knees trying to catch there breaths and Itsuki looks up and thinks

"Where did he go!? We can't let him escape!" Dai looks up and thinks

"Where is he!? I'm going to kill him!" Dai and Itsuki both slowly start to get up as Kenji's ice starts surging all around his body and he screams

"GET OUT HERE!" But a voice from behind Kenji says

“It’s over boy” Kenji turns around and sees Kingsman standing there but Kenji says

“It’s not over until I see him dead at my feet!” Kenji turns back around and screams

“COME OUT NOW!” Kingsman walks up and grabs Kenji arm and says

“He’s already dead” But Kenji snatches his arm away and turns around and pushes Kingsman and says

“No he’s not! He’s hiding, he’s trying to run but I won’t let him! Why are you trying to protect him!? Don't you care about Riku!?” Kenji turns back around but Kingsman says

“Kenji! It’s over…He’s dead” Kenji slowly turns around and looks at his Kingsman but Kingsman can see he’s holding back tear and Kingsman pulls Kenji's head into his stomach as Kenji hugs him extremely tight as Kenji starts *crying* into Kingsman's chest and says

“I’m sorry father…I couldn’t protect him!” Kingsman says

“It’s not your fault, you did everything you could to help him. That’s all Riku would ever ask you for, that's all any of us will ask you for. I understand how you feel...When I lost my family for years I felt as if it was my fault and I wanted to stop and quit everything, but my brother has always told me to never quit! No matter what happens, no matter what trials I face in life I must always keep moving forward. Do the same! Don't become me, don’t lose yourself, you can do it…But you must first find the real you" Kingsman looks up and notices Itsuki and Dai slowly walking up to them and Kingsman says

"That goes for all of you, I want all of you to truly take the time to understand and find yourselves. In this pursuit thing may get hard and things may look tough, but don't ever give up on the things you want. Because even if you don't believe you can do it, I do!" Itsuki starts tearing up and says

“I promise you I won’t ever give up, I won’t quit! I’ll make Riku and you proud Sensei! No matter what!” Dai *cries* and thinks

“Riku…We still had more adventures left, I'm sorry I couldn't save you” Kingsman says

“Dai, Itsuki I know the both of you have people you love still in this world. I want you both to go see them, take some time to think about if you want to return to this life or if you want to live safely” Itsuki is *shocked* says

“Sensei I’m not—" Kingsman says

“No Itsuki…You will not make that decision now. I want you to see the other side of life and love, you don’t always have to worry about the ones you love being killed every second. You can sleep with a calm mind, I want you both to live not as warriors anymore but as children who can see the beauty of the world” Kingsman lets go of Kenji and walks over and crouches down next to Riku’s body and puts his hand on Riku’s heart and closes his eyes and thinks

“There are many things that I've done that I truly regret-" Kingsman sheds a tear and thinks

"But meeting you, and learning from you. Sharing laughs together and bonding hearts with you will never be one of them, as a father I have failed you. As a teacher I through you in a situation you we're not prepared for, and I'm sorry. I will be better, I will protect our family with even more than everything I have" Kingsman stands up and he puts his hands together and uses wind to pull all the pieces of Riku together and he stomps on the ground splitting it open and he picks up Riku and puts his body in side of the grave and he smooths over the dirt and thinks

"I pray I never have to do this again" Kingsman walks back over to Kenji and picks up Kenji while he’s still *crying* and opens a portal underneath all of them dropping them in front of the village gates but as they drop through the portal Kaito,Gyomei, and Saigo are at the gate and Saigo is *relived* and says

“You had us worried for a second” But Gyomei notices Riku is missing and he's *confused* and says

“Wait, where’s Riku?” Itsuki shed a tear and Kingsman says

“Riku is dead” Everyone is *shocked* and Kaito says

“Brot–” Kingsman walks past him and says

“I’m fine, check on the children” Kingsman walks into the village and up the hill and Saigo hugs Dai and Kaito hugs Itsuki and Saigo says

“I know it hurts” But as he says this Dai is *shaking with anger* and holding back his tears but Itsuki pushes Kaito off and says

“I’m fine” Kaito can see the tears in his eyes and Itsuki follows behind Kingsman and Saigo lets go of Dai and Dai walks into the village catches up with them as well and as they make it to the house Akita is cooking but as she looks back she sees everyone’s face and says

“What’s going on?” She notices Kenji is passed out in Kingsman’s arm and she runs to him and says

“What happened? Where’s Riku?” Kingsman says

“Riku…Died” Akita is *shocked* and says

“What!? Are you–” Kingsman says

“I’m fine, check on them” Kingsman walks upstairs and sits Kenji in his bed and says

"Please...Be better then me, take after your mother more than me. Don't let your emotions destroy you" Kingsman walks out of Kenji's room closing the door behind him and he walks into the room and goes into the cabinet and gets some an elastic bandage and a bandage and he goes back downstairs as Akita hugs Itsuki and Dai and says

“Are you both ok?” Itsuki steps back and says

“I’m fine” Akita notices the tears he’s holding back and Akita says

“No you're not! I know you loved him, it’s ok to show your emotions. You can cry, it’s ok. I’m here for you” Itsuki and Dai both break down in Akita’s arms and Kingsman walks up and sits at the table Kingsman and as they stop *crying* Kingsman says

“Come to me” Dai and Itsuki both walk up to Kingsman as Kingsman turns around and grabs both of their shoulders and says

“I want both of you to know, how proud I am of both of you. The only reason I’m sending you back home is because if you choose to continue down the path as a warrior I don’t want you to have any regrets. Just in case I never see you again, always remember. The nights are always the darkest before the sun rises, things will always get better. But don’t think for a second that either one of you failed him, Riku knows you tried and as do I. Calm your minds and tend to your hearts, it will be ok” Dai starts tearing up and says

"But I should have done more...I could have hit it harder. I should have-" Kingsman wipes Dai's eyes and says

"Your hand are broken, you gave it everything you've had. Thank you" Itsuki says

"I don't know, I...I-" Kingsman says

“Calm yourself, it's all right. Do not dwell on the bad thoughts that are passing through your mind now" Kingsman hesitates but he pulls both of them into a hug and says

"And if I’ve never told either of you, I love you. The both of you” Dai and Itsuki are *shocked* and Dai *sheds a tear* but he *smiles* and says

“W-Who wouldn’t...I’m amazing” Kingsman *smiles* as he lets go of both of them and Dai turns around and walks upstairs but as Itsuki turns to walk away Kingsman grabs his arm and Itsuki looks back at Kingsman and Kingsman says

“Forgetting something?” Itsuki says

“Uhh...I-I don’t know what love is exactly but-” Itsuki leans into hug Kingsman again but Kingsman taps Itsuki stomach and he falls down *holding his stomach in pain* and Kingsman pulls him up and hands him the bandage and elastic bandage and says

“Go take a shower clean your wounds and then wrap yourself after your dry, and love is an emotion that's indescribable but you truly won’t feel it until you’ve lost it'' Itsuki *while in pain* says

“Yes...Sensei” Itsuki gets back to his feet and goes upstairs and Kingsman *sighs* and puts his face in his hands and Akita walks over and sits next to Kingsman and puts her hand on his back and Akita says

“Kingsman, we’ve been married long enough for me to understand you will never speak about how you feel after you lose someone. But on the rare chance you want to, please just know that I’m here if you want to talk. I know you want to hold it together in front of them, but please know it's ok if you need a day to fall apart with me” But Akita notices a tear fall through Kingsman hands and she hears him whisper

“I've failed” But before she can say anything Kingsman stands up and walks out the backdoor.

At the same time Kaito and Gyomei are talking in the middle of the village and Kaito says

“It’s truly sad what happened to Riku” Gyomei says

“Maybe we should go talk to him” Kaito says

“No point, Kingsman doesn’t speak about any of the pain he has inside…He just lives with it, and we'll need to wait until he process it alone” Gyomei says

"I don't think that's healthy, I can only imagine the things going through his head" Kaito says

"You can't even imagine the things he's seen and been through, attempting to imagine whats going through his head would scar you. It's better if you don't, just let him go through his process as he does. Eventually he'll-" Suddenly Kingsman walks up next to them and looks at Gyomei and says

“Did you kill Minato and Masaru?” Gyomei is *shocked* and says

“Uhh...No, while we were fighting they slipped away from us when Kei showed up” Kingsman hand covers in darkness and he pulls his sword out of his hand and he spins it opening up a portal but Gyomei and Kaito are *shocked* as they look through the portal and see the portals opened up behind Minato and Masaru as there walking away and Kingsman walks through and Gyomei and Kaito follow behind him as Kingsman steps through he says

“Minato!” Minato and Masaru are *shocked* as they turn around and see Kingsman coming towards them and Minato says

“What!? Kingsman, how did-” But Kingsman punches Minato in the stomach with such force he instantly shatters his ribs making him spit up blood and it sends Minato flying through miles of trees and Masaru is *shocked* and he looks at Kingsman as Kingsman is still standing in front of him looking in the direct he punched Minato and Masaru looks in the same direction and starts *shaking with fear* and thinks

"B-Big brother!" Kingsman slowly turns his head and faces Masaru and as they lock eyes Masaru's entire body is *completely over come with fear* and he starts violently shaking but Kingsman turns away from him and back in the direction of where he sent Minato and he starts walking in the same direction and Gyomei gets *angry* at seeing Masaru and he says

“You’re the one who killed my brother!” But Masaru is still looking at Kingsman as he's walks away and Masaru starts walking in the direct of Minato but Gyomei rushes in front of Masaru and punches him in the chest slidding him back but Masaru deosn't even look at Gyomei as he's staring at Kingsman still walking away and he walks towards Kingsman but Gyomei grabs him by his throat and slams him into the ground and Gyomei says

"You took my little brother from me!" Gyomei starts relentlessly punching Masaru in the face but even as blood starts coming out of Masaru's mouth, Masaru still doesn't even look at Gyomei and Gyomei screams

"LOOK AT ME!" Gyomei's hand starts glowing a deep blue and Gyomei grabs Masaru's face and starts turning his head to make Masaru look up at him but Masaru won't turn his head away from the direction of where Minato and Kingsman went and Gyomei lets go of Masaru head and he puts both of his hands together and lifts them into the air but Kaito grabs Gyomei’s arm and says

“He’s not fighting back, this isn’t how Kenshin would want you to avenge him” Gyomei looks up at Kaito and says

"This is our moment! I've waited so long for this, to avenge my brother!" Kaito says

"I know, and I wished for the same. But just not like this, look at him" As Gyomei looks down at Masaru he sees Masaru has tears in his eyes and blood flowing from his mouth as he's still staring in the direction that Kingsman and Minato went and Gyomei looks at his hand and thinks

"I'm sorry...Kenshin, but I can't" Gyomei sheds a tear as he stands up and Kaito grabs his shoulder and says

"I know it's hard, but everything doesn't deserve a reaction. At least not on the same scale every time" Masaru slowly gets to his feet and slowly starts stumbling towards where Kingsman and Minato went and Kaito says

“Let’s catch up with Kingsman and get out of here” Gyomei and Kaito walk past Masaru and towards Kingsman

At the same time Minato is on one knee covered in blood with a broken arm as well and he slowly gets to his feet and he turns around and sees Kingsman slowly walking towards him and Minato turns around and tries to limp away but Kingsman grabs Minato by the back of the neck and slams his face into the ground and Kingsman stomps onto Minato's back pushing him even farther into the ground but simultaneously breaking Minato’s spine and Minato *screams in pain* and Minato slowly tries pulling himself out of the ground with his one arm and as he is able to pull himself out he rolls onto his back and he *coughs up blood* and says

“I’m sorry, I didn’t do anything...But follow orders, please!” Kingsman grabs him by his neck and lifts him into the air as Kingsman and Minato lock eyes and Minato says

"Pl-" But Kingsman crushes Minato’s windpipe and Minato starts gasping for air as Kingsman drops him on the ground and Kingsman looks down at Minato as he's still gasping for air and Kingsman snaps and his sword flies to his hands and Kingsman puts his foot on Minato's chest and he stabs him through the chest with his sword as Kaito and Gyomei come up behind him there *shocked* and Kaito says

“K-Kingsman!?” Kingsman turns around but he doesn't even look at them and walks past them and Gyomei is *scared* and says

“I've never seen him like this before” Kaito says

“I’ve seen him angry, but I’ve never seen him this ruthless before” As Kingsman is walking through the trees he sees Masaru stumbling towards him and Masaru freezes as he sees Kingsman and Kingsman stops as they lock eyes with each other and Kingsman snaps and his sword flies to his hand and Masaru notices blood dripping off of it and Masaru is *shocked* but Kingsman continues walking past him and Masaru starts limping even faster towards where Kingsman and Minato were and thinks

“No! He’s lying, he has to be lying! Minato would never leave me alone in this world! He promised he’d never leave!” As Kingsman makes it back to the clearing they we're in Kingsman spins his sword again opening a portal back to the village but as he's about to step through he hears a pain voice scream

“MINATO! NO!” But he walks through the portal and he starts walking back towards the hill up to his house but Kaito and Gyomei come out of the portal and Kaito says

“Kingsman!?” Kingsman stops in his tracks and turns around and looks at Kaito as Kaito says

“What was that?” Kingsman says

“Disposing of an enemy” Kaito says

“That isn’t how you do it” Kingsman gets *angry* and gets in Kaito face and says

“Then what am I supposed to do? Let them go so they go off and kill more people!” Kaito says

“No, that’s not what I'm saying. That's just not you! You’ve changed, I can understand how it feels losing someone close to you–” Kingsman snaps as his sword flies to his hand and he says

“I haven’t changed, I just found a more efficient way!” Kingsman turns around and walks up the hill and Kaito thinks

“This is going to be a problem, I’ll have to speak with Kenzo about it. I starting to feel the same energy I once felt inside of Kei right before he spiraled. I pray I'm wrong brother, but if I'm not I cannot sacrifice everything we've built for you. If you plan on rushing into Kei's region I'll have no choice, but to stop you. You made the plan and I won't let you compromise it”
