Chapter 63
An Opportunity To Change Everything
Makoto tries to punch Kingsman but Kingsman dodges all of his strikes until he ducks one of his punches as he swipes Makoto's legs making him fall forward and Makoto slams into the ground as Kingsman steps onto his back and sits down as he touches the back of Makoto’s neck and Makoto can't move as Kingsman says
“Where is Jushiro?” Suddenly a voice echoes from the sky
“Right here!” Kingsman turns around as he looks into the air and sees Jushiro,Kiyoshi, and Isamu but suddenly a beam hits him in the chest launching Kingsman back as he slams into the ground and Kingsman slowly gets to his feet as he looks down and sees a hole in his chest and Kingsman is *angry* as he says
"You...Ruined my suit!" Jushiro floats down to the ground as he lands next to Makoto and Kingsman walks towards him as he *smiles* and says
"Is this truly going to be our first battle, Jushiro!" Jushiro puts his hand up stopping Kingsman in his place and Kingsman is *shocked* as he says
"Well, this is truly shocking! Maybe you're stronger than I thought" Kiyoshi appears next to Jushiro as he says
"Are you sure my lord? We could use him if it's true what you told us" Jushiro says
"He's far too unpredictable, there will always be more! We can wait for the next" Kingsman *laughs* as he says
"Do you think you can kill me? Come on then! Tr-" Jushiro snaps as Kingsman body drops lifelessly onto the ground and Kiyoshi says
"I understand my lord, but now all of our progress has been regressed" Jushiro says
"No, we have created another cycle that we can now manipulate. I believe he harnessed all the powers of the gods, and now with him dead they'll need more heirs. Now we must gather hundreds of sacrifices and put them all into rituals, I want you to watch over it" Kiyoshi says
"Of course my lord, thank you for the responsibility" Makoto slowly gets to his feet as he says
"My lord, I-" Jushiro says
"We are leaving, we've had enough casualties and I'm tired of the disrespect we received. Now we'll make sure these universes truly understand who we are!" Suddenly *laughing* comes from behind him as he turns around and sees Kingsman standing up as he says
"You really thought you could erase me! I am everywhere, I am everything, I AM ALL!" Kingsman slowly starts walking forward as his body is shaking and Makoto looks at Kingsman as he says
“You cannot hurt us, you cannot win!” Kingsman *smiles* as he says
“The difference is Makoto you can’t take any physical damage, it won’t hurt or even scratch you no matter how strong it is. That still leaves you exposed to mental attacks, but Kiyoshi’s barrier is even more powerful than you. It protects him from all physical damage and mental damage, I can rip apart reality and his barrier won’t flinch! The trick with it is it can’t be destroyed, but as a safety net the more damage you do to it the stronger it becomes. It adapts to all things that come in contact with it, and that's why I've been waiting” Kiyoshi is *shocked* and says
“How could you!?” Kingsman *smiles* as he says
“I’m amazing!” Makoto is *angry* as he says
“Bullshit, you listened to his shadow!” Kingsman says
“Not this time, I just analyzed how he always allows attacks to hit his barrier instead of easily dodging them. He knows it should be indestructible, but he wants to be sure it is just in case he runs into a man like me. A man who is overwhelmingly stronger than all of those around him with abilities he doesn't understand, but I will admit something to you. I don't believe I could fully destroy it” Kiyoshi *smiles* but Kingsman looks at him and says
“Oh don’t worry I already have a way around it, I just want to have some fun first” Kingsman appears in front of Kiyoshi as he throws a punch at his barrier but he stops the punch right before it hits the barrier and there's so much force it destroys the ground underneath them as it pushes Makoto back but Jushiro doesn't move as Kingsman pushes his foot down reverting the ground back and he bends down and picks up some dirt as he drops it and Kingsman puts his hand out and his sword flies into this hand and Kingsmans puts his black slashes all over Kiyoshi’s barrier and Kiyoshi is *confused* as he says
“Fire cannot harm my barrier Kingsman you know that, what are you doing!?” Kingsman says
“You think my slashes are simply black flames, but you are truly mistaken. I've created and destroyed realities in my seal, let me show you the power your master Jushiro wishes he could control. I'll show you what he wishes to learn, pay attention as I reshape reality around you!" Kiyoshi is *nervous* as Kingsman activates all of his black slashes and the slashes all stretch around Kiyoshi's barrier shrouding Kiyoshi in darkness as Kingsman voices echos all around Kiyoshi and says
"Why isn't Jushiro stopping me!? Does he truly care for you!? How did both of you come to meet each other? Did he abduct you as he did the rest of the people in the village? Did he kill your parents to obtain you? You know he is willing to do it, what does he truly think of you? How does he feel about you? How many of their faces haunt your nightmares because of what he makes all of you do? I know you wish to be strong enough to not listen to them, I know you wish you were more coldhearted so you could not care about their pain. But that's not you, you were never like them! You were a compassionate man, a man who wanted to save people. You're the reason the village has as many people as it does now, in the beginning you convinced him having loyal followers was better than being feared by all. But over time he stopped caring, and forced you to become something you were never meant to be" Kiyoshi starts shaking as he covers his ears and says
"Shut up! Get out of my head!" Suddenly Kiyoshi feels a hand touch his back and Kiyoshi *screams in fear* as he quickly turns around but he doesn't see anyone as he starts to feel hands grabbing him from all over and he starts *shaking with fear* as he screams
"STOP! NO! DON'T TOUCH ME, LET ME GO!" Slowly the darkness fades off of Kiyoshi's barrier as Kiyoshi looks at Kingsman and he notices his barrier is still up and Kiyoshi is *nervously shaking* as he thinks
"Was it all in my head? Or-" Kingsman puts his hand up as Kiyoshi's barrier splits open and Kiyoshi is *stunned* as Kingsman says
“Attempting to destroy your barrier would never work, not even if I attempted to erase it from all of space and time because this reality truly has no counter for that barrier of yours. That’s why I made my own” Kingsman puts his hand on Kiyoshi's head and he *smiles* as he smears dirt across Kiyoshi's forehead and says
"You, do not need to fear me. But watch the people you trust" Kingsman turns around as he walks towards Jushiro and Kiyoshi's barrier closes as Makoto rushes Kingsman and tries to punch him but Kingsman jumps into the air dodging Makoto's punch as he kicks him in his shoulder launching him downwards through the ground as he thinks
"Yes! This is what I've been waiting for, this unparalleled raw strength! When I get up I'm going to-" As Makoto flies out of the ground he realizes he can't breath and as he looks up he notices he's floating in space and he is *shocked* as he thinks
"Did he kick me through the planet!? Wow, such a monster!" Suddenly Makoto appears on the ground back in front of Kingsman and he starts *coughing* as he catches his breath and Makoto slowly looks up at Kingsman as he says
"How did you-" Kingsman *smiles* as he says
"It's an ability of mine, would you like to see it again?" Makoto opens his mouth but Kingsman stomps him in chest launching through the planet again as Kingsman puts his hand up and uses
"Reversion" As Makoto drops onto the ground again and starts *coughing* as he tries catching his breath and Kingsman *laughs* as he says
"This is funnier than I expected!" Makoto opens his mouth but he *coughs up blood* and he is *shocked* as he says
"What!? But I couldn't feel those kicks, how could they cause me to bleed?" Kingsman says
"It wasn't my kicks which affected you like this, it was your time in space. It's starting to collapse your lungs" Makoto says
"I-" But Kingsman kicks him in the stomach launching him through the planet again as he *laughs* and says
"I'll give him a few more seconds this time, he'll be able to handle it" Kingsman slowly puts his hand up as he uses
"Reversion" Kingsman is still *laughing* as Makoto appears in front of him but Makoto is convulsing as Kingsman grabs him by his neck and says
"Your lungs have almost fully collapsed at this point, I think it’s time to end this” Makoto slowly looks into Kingsman's eyes as he weakly grabs his wrist and says
"Le-" Kingsman says
"Silence" Kingsman looks up at the sun as he *smiles* and says
"Show me how strong you really are!" Kingsman throws Makoto towards the sun as Makoto flies through space towards the sun and thinks
"Damn, I can't move! I have to-" Makoto slams into the sun with such force he's dragged straight to the core of the sun and Makoto tries to move but he can't as suddenly a portal opens up in front of him as he falls forward slamming into the ground and as he looks up he sees Isamu standing next to him and Makoto opens his mouth but bloods pours out as his head falls to the ground and Kingsman looks at Isamu and *smiles* as he says
"Since when could you make a portal like mine? Did you steal my ability? Try and use another one of my abilities, I dare you. I promise your body will collapse!" Jiro slowly gets back to his feet as he looks at Kingsman and says
“I guess it’s time, Kingsman I will give you credit you are smart. But you don't know the real secret of my people!” Kingsman looks at Jiro and says

“You are…Incorrect, my knowledge and wisdom are truly beyond your comprehension” Kingsman appears in front of Jiro as he knees him in the stomach dropping him back to the floor and Kingsman stands over Jiro as he says
“Your race has the ability to consume anyone, no matter how strong or infinite or even intangible they are. But there’s a chance you will lose full control over your body and the one you consumed or the most recent one you consume will take control of you fully” Jiro is *shocked* as Kingsman says
“Am I missing anything?” Jiro is *afraid* as he says
“Impossible, what are you!? How could you truly know everything!? How is this possible!” Kingsman *smiles* as he says
“I am simply a man who stands alone at the very pinnacle of strength, well I guess it's simply unfair to call me a man” Kingsman takes a step back and puts two fingers on his arm’s vein as it starts to glow and he drags his fingers all the way up to his neck as he looks to the sky and opens his mouth as smoke starts coming out of his mouth and Jiro is *shocked* and starts uncontrollably shaking as he sees a Demon form from the smoke and it floats towards him as it reaches for Jiro and Jiro runs back as he screams
"NO! STAY AWAY!" Jiro flies into the air and he looks back but he looks back and *screams in fear* as the distance from The Demon isn't changing and Jiro looks at Isamu as he screams
"HELP ME!" Isamu puts his hand up as he creates a portal in front of Jiro and Jiro flies through the portal as Isamu closes it and The Demon stops in place as it looks at Isamu and Isamu is *stunned* but The Demon looks forwards as it puts it's hand up and slashes downward as reality distorts in front of him until the distortion opens up and The Demon and Jiro comes face to face as Jiro starts *uncontrollably shaking with fear* and everyone is *shocked* as The Demon slowly reaches for Jiro's face and as it touches his face Jiro's entire body goes limp and falls forward but as Jiro's body falls through The Demon it disappears and The Demon slowly floats back into Kingsman's mouth as Kingsman's veins go back to normal and Kingsman says
“That was interesting, anyone else?” Makoto is *confused* as he says
“What the hell was that!?” Kingsman says
“An immortal and indestructible demon that all of their people have a link to, It was a curse they were all affected by due to the actions of Jiro’s Great Grandfather. When they took over the planet they resided on, and with his dying breathe the last native cursed the lands for anyone who stepped foot on them” Kaito is *shocked* as he says
“So there are more of them!?” Kingsman says
“No, after Jushiro took Jiro from his home he destroyed the planet. He was lucky he decided to float above the ground” Makoto gets *angry* as he says
“Lord Jushiro saved him!” Kingsman says
“By taking him from his home? Away from his family? Away from his friends? Away from the place he grew up? So he can do what!? Murder and enslave hundreds of people so he could truly feel like a god!” Makoto says
“You will not disrespect the name of Lord Jushiro!” Kingsman *smiles* as he says
“What about you Makoto? Who did he take you from?” Makoto says
“No one, I was born in Lord Jushiro’s village!” Kingsman *chuckles* as he says
“So he stole your mother in hopes that her or you would become the heir of one of the gods and he can harness the power from you. Let me ask you this Makoto, where is your father?” Makoto is *shocked* and says
“I...Shut the hell up!” Kingsman *laughs* as he says
“Why do you think he has that village, because he loves and cares for them? No! He’s using them just like he’s using you!” Makoto gets *angry* as he says
“I SAID SHUT UP!” Makoto rushes Kingsman and quickly starts trying to punch him but Kingsman dodges all of his strikes as he *smiles* and says
“Struck a nerve!” Kingsman keeps dodging his punches until Makoto kicks Kingsman leg as he punches him in the chest sliding him back slightly and Kingsman touches his chest as he says
“Interesting!” Makoto rushes Kingsman again and tries to punch him but Kingsman leans out of the way of his punch as he knees Makoto in the stomach and Kingsman says
“I’m tired of you!” Kingsman elbows him in the back of his neck slamming him into the ground and Makoto *screams in anger* as he stands up but Kingsman punches him in the face as he stumbles back and Kingsman headbutts him as he grabs his face and slams him into the ground and Kingsman lets go of his face as he punches Makoto in the face pushing him deeper into the ground and Kingsman turns around as he looks at Jushiro and Makoto slowly gets to his feet and he raises his fist as Kingsman says
"Fall!" Suddenly Makoto falls onto his back and Jushiro says
"You're causing all of this trouble over the family you lost, clearly you have the power to bring them back. Why won't you?" Kingsman says
“You think this is just for them, no! This isn't only for the death you've caused to the people I cared for, you've gone unopposed and unpunished for all of your crimes for too long" Jushiro says
“You are no better than me, you’ve killed men just as I have! You’ve conquered regions, I’ve conquered universes. We are no different, we just do things on different scales!” Kingsman says
“No, you had a choice on the road you took in life.Your father and brother never wanted to fight, your father was a very peaceful man and your brother was the same. But as you got older you resented him for that, you always felt like your entire family should have been worshiped as gods. But when your father allowed his villagers to question him, you started to look down on him. But when he prayed to Kuragai everyday that was your point of no return, and you started walking a dark path. Your father noticed and tried his best to bring you back to the light, but the more he treated everyone as an equal it pushed you farther down that path. Until the day your father became very sick and declared your brother as his successor, and at that point your brother told you're father that he had managed to control an element but that's when you snapped and killed your brother and forced your father to watch as both the sons he knew died in front of him.You enslaved and killed his people, if someone looked at you they we're killed. But then one of the children born inside of the village also displayed the same elemental power as your brother and you studied the boy and as he got older you learned more and more about the heirs of the gods and you killed the boy in frustration and fear that he may one day grow to powerful. But you realized if you could capture all of the heirs you could become a true god, feared and respected throughout all of reality! But me, I never got to make that decision. My father dictated the type of man I would become because of the world around us, but he also allowed me to be myself and think for myself. But I wanted nothing more than to be like my brother, he was what I thought a perfect warrior was. But as I started to find myself you appeared and ruined everything, I had to watch the most important people in my life die. But then I was locked in a seal and my darkness tormented me with their faces and voices calling out to me, I spent thousands of lifetimes fighting a countless number of enemies and being tormented by them. Until I mastered my darkness allowing me to no longer hear them, but I never left my seal because I saw through the eyes of my clone and saw him living the life I wanted. So I allowed him to continue on as I watched because I wanted to know how my life would end if I had not met you, but it turns out that I’ve been destined to kill you from the very beginning. No matter the road I take, my path always leads right back to you!” Jushiro *chuckles* as he says
"You truly believe you are all knowing! Something you cannot look from the outside and understand them" Kingsman says
"All knowing, no. I can understand people and their mindset, but specifically I know for a fact the things I've said about you are true. But if you truly feel as if I don't know what I'm talking about, then enlighten me!" Jushiro says
"I don't need to explain my actions to you, my actions aren't for the weak minded. You would truly never understand!" Kingsman says
"That's the difference between us, I surpassed you because I allow myself to learn from everyone that steps towards me. But you are so closed off and egotistical that you won't allow anyone to teach you anything, and that is why you will fall quickly in our battle!" Jushiro says
"We will have no battle, you will die here!" Jushiro puts his hand in the air and Kingsman looks around as he says
“What was that supposed to do?” Kingsman turns around as he sees the sun expanding as it starts surging and Kingsman *smiles* as he stares at it and Jushiro says
“Kiyoshi, Makoto handle the others!” Kingsman says
“Hmm, this would be a moment my father would want me to see. A way of showing how unpredictable some battles can be, and teaching me that I'll need to be able to think on my feet in dangerous situations" Kingsman puts his hand into the air and a portal opens in the sky as Itsuki and Kenji both fall out of the portal and they’re both *confused* until they turn around and see there behind Kingsman and Kenji is *shocked* as he says
“You!” Kingsman doesn't look at them as he says
“I must apologize to both of you, my father raised me to be a better man than that. And it truly does hurt me that my sons harbor so much anger and hatred, I wish neither of you ever felt this much pain to harbor this kind of hatred. You're just a product of a bad environment, and I know you won't give and quit but I must tell you beating me is impossible. As change is inevitable, but you do not need to be lost in that change! Come with me boy, or this cycle will never end!" Kenji says
“Hana and Itsuki are all I have left, I won’t let you destroy our home! All the amazing memories we have in that house, with those people on that planet, I won’t let it all disappear because you can’t let go of the past!” Kingsman says
“My sons, I–” Kenji gets *frustrated* as he says
“We are not your sons! I don’t know who you are but you are not our father!” Kingsman says
“You are correct, you are not my sons. My bloodline is full of warriors and you two are the farthest thing from a warrior of the Matomi clan, we were strong, dangerous, unbeatable machine of war! But most importantly...We were broken! The pain we've caused haunted us, the lives we've taken...The things we've done could never leave our minds. So no, you are not my sons when I was Kingsman Matomi, General of The Matomi Clan. But you are my sons now as I stand now as Kingsman Matomi, Father of the Matomi family. And I will give you a chance to keep the family you're so desperately clinging too" Kenji gets *angry* as he says
"You'll never be my father! I don't care if you look like him, talk like him, stand like him or fight like him! My father's heart and mind are something you could never mimic!" Kingsman says
"The thing you saw as your father was every good thing I wanted to become, It was all the kindness I had left. And look at what being kind did to it, where is my shadow now?" Kenji says
"Compare what you have and what he had! He had people that cared about him and truly loved him, but what do you have! Nothing except people who fear you, you are truly alone!" Kingsman says
"That truly hurts me boy, but I have a brother. Someone who truly stands with me, so at this moment I am no longer alone" Kenji looks at Kaito as he says
"I don't truly believe you would abandon us as if we were nothing, so I'll free you from his darkness!" Kaito closes his eyes as he holds his chest and says
"Kenji, I-" Kingsman says
"You are correct, my darkness brings him closer to me. If you truly wish for everything to stop there are only two options, stand with me or stand against me. Truthfully I am conflicted, as your father I wish to see how much you have grown but I also don't wish to push you to that point where I could possibly kill you" Kingsman looks at Itsuki as he notices Itsuki can't look at him and Kingsman says
"Do you have something you want to say Itsuki?" Itsuki slowly looks at him and says
"Is this the only way things can end between all of us? Death, is that truly the only path!?" Kingsman says
"Sometimes paths diverge, but no matter what happens everything is going to be alright. I want nothing more than my sons by my side as I go through these things, but with the two of you making your decision I've made mine as well" Itsuki says
"You once told all of us we shouldn't do the right thing because it is easy, we should do it because it's the right thing to do. Wouldn't the right thing now be to stop you?" Kingsman says
"Yes, but doing the right thing is rarely ever the easiest. Those kinds of decisions require a very strong will, a will that I have seen you possess. You're brother is falling apart, emotionally he cannot handle whats happening and it shows. But you've maintained your composure, even in the face of uncertainty. I respect that" Itsuki says
"If we can defeat you, would you reconsider what you're doing?" Kingsman *laughs* as he says
"Is this a challenge?" Itsuki says
"Even the most broken warrior stands by some code, if we beat you would you stop?" Kingsman says
"That's interesting...Alright then, if the two of you are able to defeat me and Kaito then I will stop! But if you don't, then both of you will die! Are you willing to bet your lives on your skill?" Itsuki says
"Yes! We were trained by the best Sensei in the world and after I've defeated Kaito, me and Kenji are going to take you down!" Kingsman *smiles* as he says
"Good, but know what happens after this. You asked for!" Kenji creates a sword out of his ice and rushes Kingsman as Itsuki takes his sword off of his back
