The chief stands up quickly by breaking eye contact with Andrew. He starts to approach him each step booming under his giant feet.

The two are face to face, with Andrew struggling to stammer out words. Before he can say anything the chief grabs him by his shoulders and lifts him up to eye level.

“you…..” the chief said with fire in his eyes.

”yes??” Andrew said squinting his eyes preparing for the worst.

“you Make fine husband for sky!!!” He laughs and hugs Andrew with all his strength.

Andrew struggling for breathe, all his air squeezed out so suddenly he felt like his lungs would pop.

the chief jumping up and down celebrating.

“we must celebrate!” The chief yelled.

he throws Andrew on his shoulder and starts to walk away, with Ikari and norland with their figurative jaws on the floor, unable to process what’s going on.

“ what the hell just happened.” Ikari screamed at norland.

“you see the act of putting a necklace on a elf woman is to symbolize the weight of your love, and your desire to be close. In other words it’s a proposal.” Norland said with tears in his eyes, with his fist clenched in approval.

“this can’t be happening Andrew, is awkward and dumb!”

“there comes a time in every man’s life where he must choose his path, and our Andrew has chosen such a lovely path!!” Norland cheering with his arm over his eyes crying.

Ikari doesn’t know if she is more stunned that this giant man is bawling over this proposal or the fact her brother just proposed to an elf princess. “What the hell is with this dream.

meanwhile down the hall, Andrew still being carried on the chiefs shoulders. “Sir can you put me down. I think there’s been a mistake.”

the chief stops suddenly plopping Andrew on the ground , his smile leaving his face.

“Mistake? You tell my daughter you spend your life together and be hers!” He snorted sharply to Andrew more telling then asking.

“sir we just met im no good for her, surely there’s someone else more suited for your princess??”

“aww I see.” the chief said putting his fist in his palm concocting some idea as to what to do.

“You wish to prove your self son I understand. There’s no need my daughter has chosen you.

your life linked now.” he said slapping Andrew on his back ushering him into a large room ahead.

in this room there is no torches but blue light radiating from the walls.

“this is shylla’s dream room.” The chief said pointing to the walls. They were covered in those bioluminescent murals.

andrew was captivated by the lovely light, he approached on of the walls where she had painted what looked like tress. In the center of the tress it looked like two figures standing there hand in hand. off to the left the only color other than blue were two yellow dots off to the right of the figures in the painting.

further down the wall was another one, this on depicted a small boy carving something while a girl watched him. Suddenly if almost by magic the mural started to shift, the figures moving. The boy putting on this wooden pendant around the girls neck before being pulled away suddenly. The girl left alone just stares at the pendant.

The chief comes up to Andrew and puts his hand on his shoulder. “ you see no one else could ever touch that pendant it would repel everyone.” The chief paused before continuing.

“she set the condition whoever could take off the pendant and put it on her would be her husband. My daughter possesses the ability to dream walk. She is greatly connected to the spirits. That is why you look at her face and see a familiar face.”

“I knew I had seen her somewhere. She seemed so excited about it. I’m sorry but I can’t marry someone I just met, that wouldn’t be fair to your daughter. I’m just trying to find my way home.” andrew said not trying to upset the chief but being honest.

“Elves live a long time, she will no doubt follow after you anyway. She must see the world, will you take her with you? She will no doubt prove useful.” The chief said now squeezing the life out of his shoulder.

“of course we would love to have her along.” Andrew said tapping the chiefs hand to ease up a bit.

“tonight we celebrate your engagement!! Then you may continue your journey.”

andrew is then led to a great clearing in the center of town. the entirety of the village has seemed to be gathered. Andrew is grabbed by several men and thrown onto this two person seat. Sky sitting next to him with flowers around her neck and head. The chair is lifted up and they are being walked towards what looks to be a large fire in the center. the two are careful placed down on a rug next to the fire.

people yelling in celebration dancing around them, drums and flutes being played.

Several people bring over the paint seen on the walls. One person quickly cuts open what’s left of Andrews shirt. And they start to paint symbols on Andrew and sky

“whoa what’s going on here” Andrew try’s to say in protest.”

shy grabs his hand and pats it in reassurance. “ it’s good.!! Husband!!” She said grinning from pointy ear to pointy ear. Leaning her head on his shoulder.

Andrew trying not to panic or be rude, just sits still, but starts to get into the atmosphere.

the dancing was beautiful he thought to himself. The people prancing around the fire arm in arm. Different types of decorative fans and unique dresses and clothes he had never seen before. the music soothed his soul. He almost forgot about his stuck in another world dilemma.

Sky shot up and reached out for his hand. “want to do the dance with me??”

he thought to himself “ why is it when she reaches that hand out to me, why do all my worries float away, and I always reach for it with complete trust.”

she leads him into the mass around the fire and they start to dance, him at first really nervous until she stepped closer and with her two fingers signaled for him to look at her and nowhere else.

the two danced for what felt like hours. before long norland and Ikari were dragged into the mass fumbling around.

everyone ate there fill and soon retired for the evening. They all had rooms prepared. Norland passes out immediately. Ikari though, was not planning on sleeping she needed to talk to her brother.

she peered out into the hall way, “good it was empty” she thought to her self as she made her way to her brothers room.

she props open the door. there he was standing by the wall banging his head on it.

“bro??” Ikari said wondering if it was a bad time.

“Ikari!!” Andrew said relieved. “Come in, how are you feeling.”

“umm I’m okay, are you okay your bleeding??” She pointed to his forehead which was slightly bleeding.

“ oh this yeah I’m good. I’m glad you’re safe. Pretty bizzarre huh the last twenty-four hours?”

“ uh yeah we were kidnapped and brought to another world, almost sacrificed to a bear owl thingy, now your getting freaking married!!!!”

Andrew blankly stares at Ikari. “ another world what do you mean.”

“did you not go into the purple light and talk with the deity known as sheraw??” She said as if it was an everyday question.

“no this tree demon thingy attacked me and then I woke up in a shed tied up. How did you end up there tied up same as me.

“well….” She said drifting off.

“ I was placed a fair bit away from the village but suddenly sheraw’s voice rang through my head.” Ikari said

“so hey Ikari, sheraw here, I may have lost your brother on his way here I think that cult has him.”

“ I ran to the village and tried to sneak my way through, but was captured and tied to that post.”

“ okay why were we brought here??” Said Andrew.

“ what other reason to defeat the demon lord.” Ikari said with the biggest smile she ever had.

“Wait you mean like one of those cringe anime’s you always watch?”

ikari punches him in the arm swiftly. “ there not cringe you ass.”

andrew winces from the pain of his previous injuries.

“oh I’m sorry!” Ikari said as she holds her hand up and it’s starts to glow. The light surrounding Andrew. His nails growing back, his ears stopped ringing. His fatigue faded away.

“What the..” Andrew said completely caught off guard.

“ I healed you sorry should have done that earlier” said Ikari putting her hand playfully on her head.

”since when can you do that!!!” Andrew screamed.
