Yet another herbivore

Ham sighed mentally as his screen flashed black.

Ham summoned one to have a look at it. It actually seemed a lot like the Addax, just with much shorter stocky horms and lots more fur to make it cold adapted.

Ham added a few for variety, but ultimately they were not as effective as a Isbjorn.

The situation continued on much the same for the next few days. Eventually, Ham was able to receive another level up.

Ham pondered for a short while. Three of these seemed to be based off what had been used against him, whilst the first was based on his second floor.

For now, the choice was obvious, Flame and Respawn he could accumulate from the invaders over time, and whilst Giants blessing was more general than Jormangandr's snake only blessing, it was not so special. So far cold and fall damage had been the main methods of preventing access, along with using the structure of the space being cramped. A Giant anything would throw the cramped space plan out the window. It would however be his next choice, unless something more interesting became available.

Selecting Frost, Ham was able to develop his second floor to have a boss Frost Isbjorn. It gained the ability to generate even larger claws made of ice that were incredibly thin and hard. It also gained a spiked coat of hard ice on the ends of the long hair. The distance between the ice coat and the body, and the layered nature of this ice meant it didn't restrict motion at all. He gave this Isbjorn the respawning feature as well.

The way the blessing worked was odd. The Isbjorn had a base mana of 100, and he could assign anything from 10 up to that amount from his mana pool to the bear. This gave the bear that fraction to start with, and the corresponding part of his regeneration. As such it was important to be efficient with his use of blessings. For now he only assigned 10 mana, giving a very low regeneration rate. He would increase it later when people actually started getting through to it. He could also assign more than 100 mana to the bear, and it would start increasing the mana pool to match.

Ham was not sure what he was missing to be able to expand to the third floor, but for now he continued to add a few extra ice rooms into the mix.

He was sure his next invaders would be soon.
