As he stared into the horizon he could see the skyline of his once beloved home It was names New Beloved. Now his home looked like a menacing giant of death.
His world was a war-torn monstrosity but out of the ashes of the American superpower, a powerful force of soldiers and scientists had founded a fort to repel any militaries or foreign meddlings. This was originally named Fort Belove in respect of the commander of the force: Lieutenant General John Belove.
Belove had taken his men and rescued a small city of people from the ruthless hands of a cartel warlord Belove built a fort to protect his men and the civilians. After 150 years the small fort had become the centerpiece of a thriving empire.
Now the city had become a place of terror for those living in the slums.

As he looked at the Metropolis he sighed. He had been taken under the wing of a small time assassin before he had known how to walk.

He lived to train and quickly became a ruthless killer.
After a time he had founded a new circle of assassins; this circle was to pursue the evil doers of New Beloved. He gained traction easily and soon became a figure everyone knew: General Dark. This was the name he was given by the down trodden of his city.
Now he looked back at his life and realized his follies.
He was trapped in his own egotistical views that he couldn't see that in the long run he was causing the devastation of the people he was trying to save.
So he was grabbed and taken out of the picture by the people he had raised to help in his endeavours.
Plus it's not like he was perfect either he still had wants and needs he had to deal with.
He was to be killed any day now and he had realized why long ago so all he had left was his thoughts in his head, the clothes on his back, and the ancient medallion left to him by his master.
Then it went black. The final thought that went through his mind was 'I never finished my dinner, which ass was it that killed me before I could eat my ice cream!'
