Kai had to take charge of the conversation again. "Darcy, what did you say you did again?” Kai asked.

Samantha took joy and pride in the feat she had accomplished. “I have just finished comprehending the spell you gave me!” Darcy had a smug expression on her face.

‘She is really fast, or is it just the blood I gave her?’ Nonetheless, Kai moved all the doubt out of his face and replaced it with a smile. “That’s truly wonderful!”

Samantha looked at him eager to hear what he needed, same as Darcy but she did so with the elegance of a lady. “What is it that you need?” She asked.

“How do I go about it? Darcy I know that you can sense that I have no essence within me. So as patriarch, I ask you two to let me take a bite from the both of you. Kai said with a straight face. To the two ladies in the room, it sounded to cheeky, but his straight expression changed their minds.

Kai was curious, but he had a hunch as to where the door led.

Void’s door was a rare low-level teleportation spell. It was passively activated.
