Terry entered the Crescent Moon inn and was a minute or 2 early for his meeting with the undercover guard. There was a simple lobby where people of all ages could hang out and chat before getting a room key although the main areas were the bar and cafeteria which also had somebody to distribute a room key.
Either way, there was a place to sit normally, to sit and drink with adults, or to sit and drink, or to sit and eat. Naturally, the bar wasn’t open for kids while the others were.
Terry looked across the walls to find several lamps for light although instead of flame, which could burn the place down if not careful, there was light radiating from inside where a small bead was placed.
So they use magic and even have bulbs, this world is interesting to say the least, Terry thought. Nice and simple yet so complex.
Whenever you compare this world to your own, you say that it’s tranquil even with all of the chaos. I can’t help but get excited to see the world you hail from for myself, Din responded.
Heh, this world has people who can become overwhelmingly stronger than others and everyone is much stronger physically than people from my world. The problem though, is because people from my world are much, much weaker yet have far stronger weapons. When you process that, you understand just how much chaos there is. Had the people of my world had a specific person with much greater strength than others to lead, my world would know peace. That’s why I absolutely hate those ‘heroes’ of this world. With their power, they could fix the world where they were born, but they instead stay here to have fun permanently. That is my background, Terry explained.
Heh, you keep coming up with people to kill, first those who betrayed you, then the temple, the magma monarch, and now the heroes, along with all who I hate… Din replied.
Terry looked to the cafeteria for a table but saw that it was empty and decided to see the bar. He opened a door that led into the bar from the lobby which had a man to guard it. He was strong but as he was only there to check age which Terry clearly measured to, there were no problems.
Terry looked inside and walked around a bit.
“Hey there man, I saw you’re alone so I wanted to check you out,” laughed a man as Terry felt a hard smack against his back. “Damn, your back is really all muscle! I had no idea somebody like you could be so strong with such bad armor and no weapons, my bad!” continued the man again in apology this time.
Terry turned to see a group of small children, well, children to him but they seemed to be young adults.
“How can I help you?” Terry asked in annoyance but not showing any.
“We were wondering if you wanted to work with us for a job,” the man asked. He led a group of 2 more guys and 4 girls, all pretty weak. Although, for the people of where he was Terry had to respect such strength in a group. He even looked at their plates which were made of solid silver, similar to Terry’s stolen ones.
“You know, we can actually discuss tomorrow, I have a strong buddy who’s coming to share some drinks with me right about now. I can let you ask him tomorrow if he wishes to meet you guys in the first place. Just don’t bug him when we drink,” Terry lied.
“Oh really, sure then, thanks!” replied the group as they smiled happily at Terry and walked away to drink some more alcohol.
Terry looked to find an empty table but saw none before eyeing the beggar/undercover guard. Terry walked to the table before sitting beside him. There were 2 bottles of strong alcohol upon the table as the beggar grabbed one and beckoned for Terry to grab one.
“If that’s how we start, my answer is that I don’t indulge in acts that voluntarily harm my body that takes a very difficult time to maintain. Protein shake?” Terry suggested.
“Hahaha, glug, glug, glug,” laughed the beggar as he drank his bottle until it ran empty.
Terry stared deep into the man’s eyes as he genuinely looked to be calm and composed. Both of which Terry knew were fake.
Smash! Swing!
The beggar broke his remaining bottle upon the table and swung the sharp remaining bottle to Terry’s pale neck.
“Hey drop the bottle man!” yelled several people in the bar as they began to draw their weapons, including the female bartender, the strongest one of the few, as she cautiously held the thin, cooking knives from behind her.
Terry smiled at the empty threat as both men knew that a mere broken bottle was a worthless weapon against someone like Terry. Although, the beggar was using some sort of skill to radiate powerful flame energy at Terry which was the hidden threat.
“I was joking, your wife is fine, I would never touch your woman, old friend. Hahahaha!” Terry laughed as he came up with a fake story.
The beggar looked puzzled at Terry, not a shred of fear at possible death. Even if it wouldn’t kill, such a threat wasn’t as simple as raising a hand to somebody. The beggar had put a literal weapon to Terry’s neck yet was met with a terrifying smile with no other bodily movement or reflexes. Even though Terry was the threatened individual, the beggar was the one who’s life was in the palm of another which he realized with nothing but what seemed a genuine smile to others.
“Oh, sorry man, you know how I get when you keep joking about my wife. As a caring husband, I can’t let that kind of thing slide,” the beggar replied to avert the gazes of several individuals. “And don’t worry, I’ll be sure to clean up the mess, sorry for the disturbance.”
“So, you know what I did?” Terry asked the beggar.
“I knew that you did that, I should’ve brought the royal guards to capture you,” said the beggar in rage although quietly.
“What, you gonna give me a forced position as your ruler? You would be happy for me to rule rather than let a weakling who lets his own people suffer be the leader. I mean seriously, why does this place have slavery?” Terry asked the beggar angrily.
“Be careful of what you say, the man you just attacked is very dangerous and so is his family, when they find out about-”
“So that’s it, threats? That’s what it takes for a king to abandon his people. The concept of a ruler is to have one strong ruler over the weak to create peace and control. Your ruler is a laughable prick considering that he’s actually a slave to another,” Terry responded in a mocking tone even though he was genuinely angry.
“I will reign in my anger since you were shockingly strong enough to escape after harming Navarre Ragnroe. Know one thing, there is only one reason I am still talking peacefully which is to determine if you can be of use to this city or if you will be better just to be used as an offering to King Entema Ragnroe,” the beggar explained angrily.
“Hmm, so you are terrified of the dude’s family but recognize my power, is that right? Even if this 'Entema' isn't even the true ruler of this place?” Terry asked.
“Yes, but I’ll need a direct answer as well for what you’ll do before we get into any more specifics,” continued the beggar.
Hey Din, does this guy not realize that the guy ruling this place is also a king, can’t the 2 just go to war? Terry asked.
That’s the impression you got? The guy ruling this place is a mere baron. While nobility, he is nothing compared to royalty, Din replied.
What? Isn’t this world just a bunch of kings? Then how come there was a princess? Terry asked.
Apparently this world is that simple to outsiders. I wish that that were the case but no, kings are heavily protected. After all, why in the hell would a king sit on a throne waiting to be killed? The princess, as I imagine, is a member of genuine royalty as weak as she is, Din explained.
Damn, this world just got a whole more realistic. So kings are like presidents, they aren’t at the front desk and are rather pretty deep inside a protected building. But even so, what is a princess doing here? Terry asked in surprise.
I imagine that she came here to overlook some things happening here and is quite powerful. Although, the fatass sealed away her power by the looks of it, and for such a filthy reason no less. I imagine that she was maybe even as strong as you. But now, none can rival your power unless they overwhelm you in sheer numbers and exploit your kindness, Din responded.
What?! She was a ‘sealed’ powerhouse?! Oh damn, I should’ve appraised her. I need to get a better understanding of this world. But still, you say that I am the obvious strongest here? Terry asked.
As skilled as you are, you’ll tear through this place, just wear some armor and use everything at your disposal, Din responded.
Interesting, so then this place is nothing to me. I will see just what kind of guy this baron is before putting a bullet through his head at the first thing that pisses me off.
“You know what, I will go with you, I hope to fix what mistakes I have made for you guys. After all, I wouldn’t be a man if I let you guys take my fail, and I want to change this place for the better,” Terry said emotionally with as much passion as he could muster.
[Activating Read Minds]
Dammit, if only Scythe wasn’t such a coward. I genuinely respect this man for putting Navarre in his place, but sadly, this world won’t allow such things. Dammit, if only Scythe had what this man did, he was my best friend and we went on many adventures as gold ranked adventurers but he lost everything when he became a servant to Entema…
Damn, this sh*t is so depressing. If only this guy was like Gilian, Terry thought.
Is that truly your plan? Din asked, knowing what Terry planned to do.
If nobody else will, I must. After all, you would do the same. And even if you were against it, you could just control my body like in the cave, Terry replied.
Even with your strength, you can’t hope to survive another ambush without good armor. Especially with your body in the state it’s in, Din mentioned.
Don’t worry, I’m not as angry anymore, I will just kill and be done. I only took damage since I genuinely wished to make those guys suffer, Terry said.
“Alright, follow me and stay close, I’ll bring you to the king but don’t try anything funny since I’m watching you,” the beggar said as he led Terry out of the inn after paying for the drinks and cleaning up his broken bottle shards.
“So rather than a palace, this place is a typical mansion with maids, butlers, and such,” Terry said to himself. Definitely not where a king would reside.
Terry knew that he would have some fun again very soon. Especially since this time, he wouldn’t have to run away.
Terry was led into the basement where he sensed some genuinely strong opponents, although, going all out would slaughter them pretty easily. The basement was decently deep as Terry went down quite a few steps which made it a perfect trap/ambush area.
[Activating Vampire Sight]
“The baron stays down here for protection and peace of mind,” said the beggar with slight sorrow.
“I imagine,” Terry responded with slight disgust. He saw several curtains behind which were cages behind which were slaves of course which were demihumans on top of which were females. Terry kept getting more and more disgusted but this was the time for him to do his job rather than get mad.
Be careful Terry, there’s magic circles and several guards here, ready to strike, Din said.
There were plenty of strong individuals inside the room, hidden from sight which had probably known that the beggar bringing somebody strong into the mansion was suspicious. Especially after The chaos that had happened only several minutes ago.
Don’t worry, I’m not dumb enough to step on them, Terry responded as he continued to follow the beggar while narrowly avoiding the hidden markings upon the floor that could cause quite a bit of harm to him.
The beggar looked concerned at Terry’s ‘dumb luck’ as he thought but was also somewhat happy as seen by his slight snicker as he led Terry further into the basement.
Terry realized that the baron was definitely not in the basement as Terry had hoped but that simply changed the situation rather than the difficulty.
He’s a good person, Terry thought.
Yeah, one of the strongest of the ones attempting to ambush us. Wait, do you seriously intend to kill him?! Din replied in surprise.
While he seems to be a good person, loyal, he isn’t willing to do anything about it and as such, I must kill him, further easing my plan, Terry responded coldly.
I understand, and since you’ve gotten as far away from the group as possible, they will attack soon. You’ve put a lot of thought into this so I wish you luck, Din said.
[Activating Soul Weapon Materialize]
Terry moved the fingers of his right hand around in order to greet the familiar feeling that now rested inside. There was a bit of added weight to Terry’s hand now but it was nothing compared to holding a sword. Terry didn’t look down to his hand and simply stared ahead towards the beggar as the two readied themselves to inflict powerful blows upon the other.
Click!
“Wait what was tha-”
Bang!
Squelch!
Terry watched as a bullet pierced into the skull of the man before him with massive speed and power before causing the beggar to fall to the ground, dead within an instant.
Terry heard several confused voices behind him of the guards ready to ambush. Such was natural as Terry had just killed one of the strongest within a second without batting an eye. The guards were smart.
“Emm,” Terry tasted something in his mouth all of a sudden, something he hadn’t tasted before. He stuck his finger upon his tongue for a moment before seeing that it was some runny, white fluid.
“Brain matter,” Terry muttered to himself in curiosity. Although Terry wanted to learn more though, his time was cut short by a few swift knives and arrows as they glided the air, ready to impale him.
[Activating Acrobatics]
Blzrrt! Slash! Boom! Fwoosh!
Terry quickly followed the projectiles as he dodged them masterfully with a few knicks, as the arrows and knives left massive markings upon the wall. The projectiles had burned, exploded, sliced, and even electrocuted the wall, not to mention Terry’s skin.
[Activating Blood Regeneration]
“Sorry, but I don’t have much time to play with you guys,” Terry said as he aimed upon the individuals whose locations he remembered from before.
Unlawfully taken from Royal Road, this story should be reported if seen on Amazon.
Without even looking down to his gun, by feeling the weight, Terry continued to fire from his gun at the strongest foes to start.
Bang!
Terry emptied out remaining bullets from the chamber into the most dangerous 5 out of 13 guards in the basement. Murdering them instantly.
“Gulp! I thought so, whatever I shoot gets somehow sent to my mouth as liquid whether it be brain matter or blood. This gun has my abilities fixed into it and hits much stronger than a normal gun. Now then,” Terry said as his remaining foes began to reveal themselves.
There was a buff girl with a sword, a skinny dude with a bow, an old guy with knives, a skinny yet strong guy with a hammer, a little girl with a staff, an armored guy with a spear, a heavily armored guy with a shield and axe, and then some repeats.
Terry readied his left hand for battle as his foes began to charge at him while some stayed back.
[Reloading]
Terry felt his hand begin to slightly tremble and finally looked down for a moment to see a new type of gun. There was no brand and it was entirely black with blood oozing out of the few crevices it contained. But what surprised Terry the most was the fact that the barrel, able to hold six bullets, was spinning while somehow creating bullets by using blood.
“I wish that we didn’t have to do this sh*t but I guess so,” Terry said he used his left hand to grip the neck of the buff woman with the sword before squeezing his fingers, tearing out his throat.
“Triste!” yelled the dude with the hammer as he launched his hammer at with incredible speed, but not enough.
Terry dodged the hammer and saw that it was connected to a strong rope, allowing the user to pull it back. Terry gripped the rope tightly-
Whoosh!
A cold air began to erupt from the hammer and rope as Terry felt his hands become nearly frozen as ice encased the weapon.
[Manifesting Left Hand of Thomalus]
[Activating Overwhelming Strength]
Terry’s chilled fingers became daggers within seconds, slicing through the rope with ease before gripping the iron handle lightly, making sure not to cut it, before launching it directly towards the head of his foe.
Smash!
Blood spilled out of the opponent’s skull as his own hammer smashed straight into his skull, freezing the blood and brain matter that was produced, causing a frozen head to fall and shatter upon the ground.
[Reload Successful]

Interesting, Terry thought as he gazed back upon his gun, now reloaded with 6 bullets, ready to fire.
I never thought that the skill could be used like this… Considering where you’re from and the weapons used there, no wonder you chose that skill. You could be invincible, Din replied in awe.
Heh, just wait until you see some bombs, now those would be nice, maybe even win a war alone, Terry thought. Although, this weapon is much stronger than that of a normal gun since most bullets wouldn't be able to pierce such powerful armor. I guess that this skill makes a gun much stronger than normal.
Terry raised his gun again and began to shoot.
“I surrender!” called out a deep, yet clouded voice.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
Terry watched as his foes fell to the ground slowly and their blood flowed into his mouth somehow through the bullets. But even though Terry had killed most of the individuals, one remained, the armored one. He dropped his weapon and shield to the ground before raising his hands into the air.
Terry glared angrily at the man as he could assume from the body shape and size as well as the voice.
“You little sh*t, you almost messed me up. Good thing I killed them quickly before they surrendered. Well, you were smart so I will give you a chance,” Terry said coldly to the man in massive armor as he stood shaking in fear but was slightly relieved by Terry’s words.
Terry attempted to drop his gun but the moment he released his grip, the weapon disappeared into thin air.
[Item Relinquished]
[Activating Appraisal]
[General=Strong]
Terry smiled weakly as bits of his blood stained his leather armor. Although he was fine after so many attacks, Terry still suffered from the incredible damage of Navarre's guards who were far superior to those of the worthless baron.
Terry used one of his fingers to slice his right index finger off before tossing it to the man in armor.
“Eat it,” Terry said as his finger began to heal.
The man in armor caught the finger and stood still for a moment but his desire to live was greater than his fear as Terry hadn’t used any intimidation. After revealing a scarred, blonde haired, bearded, young man. His looks were not bad, making him a decent addition to Terry’s team.
The man looked at Terry who nodded encouragingly.
Chomp, cough! Chomp, swallow.
“Swear loyalty to me,” Terry said with a grin.
[Activating Blood Contract]
“I swear my loyalty to you as long as you spare my life and consider my words and hopes,” the man said in slight fear at his demand.
“Sure, why not,” Terry said.
[Blood contract made, unable to be broken other than by the vampire whose blood has been used for the contract. Nullified if the used blood is purified. Those who break the set terms to a certain extent shall lose their soul to the Contractor]
The face of the man in armor went white as a sheet as he saw the message.
“Ay, I spared your life so your loyalty is mine. Although, now that you are mine, we are no longer enemies,” Terry said as he glanced around in the basement for any other fools who dared to challenge him. Now that there was nothing else too important inside the basement, Terry could implement his real plan.
“So? Where’s the Baron?” Terry asked in a calm voice to further speed the conversation along.
“Oh him, he’s in his bedroom on the top floor. He’s not guarded as well since you were the main threat and Gazzak gave the signal, causing the strong guards to all gather here,” said the man.
Terry walked up the man who began to shiver in fear.
Smack!
“So you got a grudge against this baron as well eh, then today’s your lucky day. You will kill him,” Terry said after smacking the back of the armored man, his new teammate. “Pick up your weapons and lead the way, I can take care of whatever rabble while you fulfill your first mission.”
“Y-yes sir,” replied the man as he placed his titanium helmet back upon his head before lifting his axe and shield both of which had titanium reinforcement and edge. There were even a few sorts of enchantments making the items more durable but such was common in the new world so Terry paid no mind.
Terry stared upon the arrows that had been shot at him and the ones that hadn’t, there were clear enchantments of sorts, possibly to serve as a one-hit-kill sort of shot. Such arrows were akin to sniping with the accuracy, speed, and destructive power. Well, a gun was still far superior.
“Wait, give me a moment,” Terry said as he motioned for the man in armor to look away.
Terry stood for a few seconds before releasing quite a bit of magic power.
[Opening Merged Storage Item]
[Equipping Platinum Plate]
[Activating Impersonate]
[Platinum Plate connected]
Terry’s flesh began to mold itself, shrinking, until he became Steadhart. The body was exactly the same as when Terry tore the armor off of his dead body. The same azure eyes, black hair, and fair skin that made up Terry's face. After all, Terry wouldn't happily wear a face if it made him homely, but with a face like Steadhart's, Terry would be fine.
Damn, Terry thought. So the platinum plates actually recognize a user. Makes sense that these are pretty hard to get and that there’s a whole system in place to prevent murderers from taking over a big identity. Just goes to show how worthless and weak those with a silver plate are, and how skilled I am at breaking the rules.
I wish I could wear the whole set though but since his armor and swords have magic properties and such, I can’t exactly pull them out at will. Even so, the plate is good enough, I’ll just need a bullsh*t story if they ask where the armor is since I think the guy never showed his face.
“So, you ready to go?” asked the man in armor as he began to turn.
“How did you get in here!” asked the man in armor as he jumped back from Terry.
[Activating Blood Compulsion]
“Calm down, it’s me, I’m just using a skill so don’t worry,” Terry said to the man, using his skill to help the man process the information faster and calmer.
“Now I know that I can get my revenge, I chose right to serve you. And smart move changing your looks since the baron knows your face after you entered,” the man said with a grin before turning back around.
Terry watched as the armored man led the way out of the basement, a look of excitement stretched across his face.
[Activating Read Minds]
I can finally get my revenge on that worthless piece of sh*t! Because of him I had to kill the demihumans who cared for me, my friends… Now I will make him kill his whole family before killing him. Hehehehehehehe!
Damn, Terry thought. He’s got some serious hate aimed at this baron specifically rather than how I just want him dead. Well, I could use the extra time considering what I have planned…
Your name will be known throughout after you do this you know, I wouldn’t recommend doing this. Especially after so many bosses know you and how you made them lose quite a bit of valuable stuff, Din replied.
Don’t worry, Greed should meet us soon, especially after how he put a tracker on me. Besides, being covert yet famous is exactly what my plan is for, Terry responded.
No way, that's your plan…?
Terry followed the man in armor quietly up the stairs. The man in armor had clean armor while Terry was covered in blood which would help attract less attention. The men walked up quite a few stairs in the deserted mansion. The walls were made of sturdy, polished wood while lit by magic lamps as Terry could assume by no flame.
Thankfully, the armored man was right, all of the maids and butlers as Terry imagined, were hidden upstairs.
The men had reached the final flight of stairs leading to the top floor. The man in armor looked concerningly at Terry, noticing the amount of blood on him and hoping that Terry had a way to seem legit.
[Activating Mask Existence]
“I would prefer not to interfere so just act natural, as if I don’t exist,” Terry said.
The man in armor nodded as he continued forward, holding his weapons tightly to slaughter.
“Wait,” Terry said.
The man in armor halted in surprise but listened intently to what Terry would say.
“We want the baron, you kill the baron while I deal with these guys. Besides, killing those who do nothing to me leaves a bad taste in my mouth,” Terry said.
The man in the armor showed signs of discontent but as he could get his revenge upon the main object of his revenge, he saw no problem with holding back a bit.
“Hector! Did you guys succeed?!” asked one of the maids as soon as the 2 men stepped upon the top floor of the mansion.
Oh hell no, Terry thought. This place takes role playing way too far. It feels like f*cking halloween and I haven’t even stopped by the guild that I heard about.
The maids were wearing the outfits that Terry had only seen on cosplayers or serious role players. The butlers more suits which wasn’t as bad but still, either the baron was a sick f*ck or the world itself.
The worst thing was that the maids actually looked hot and so did the butlers (no homo), whether this was a plus or problem with the new world, Terry didn’t know.
“Don’t worry, he’s trapped in the basement with the others watching over him. I simply came to notify the baron of this,” the man in armor said.
“Oh you don’t need to, he already knew that you would succeed. I expected Korluce would be the one to tell the Baron since he’s one of the butlers while you’re just a general. Well, I’ll relay your message to him,” said the maid as she began walking away to a door on the left of the long hallway where the men stood.
Plenty of maids and butlers stood, still not trusting the man in armor while ignoring Terry.
Hector began to tremble slightly in anger at his failure before lifting his axe, ready to split the skulls of the maids and then the butlers. Even though Terry had ordered him, his revenge must’ve been intense to cause such resistance.
Tch, Terry thought. I guess that I’ll have to kill them anyway. I guess I haven’t done a proper cleanup in such a while, my heart’s grown soft. But even so…
Terry shoved the man in the armor to the side, causing the axe to fall from his hand.
“I’m sorry but we actually need the baron right now to talk to the man. The situation is urgent,” Terry said to the maid.
[Activating Allure]
The maids looked from Terry’s blood-stained armor to his handsome face which caused them to blush brightly, their smooth, white faces becoming pink.
The butlers however were naturally suspicious.
“Hector, who’s this man in blood?” the butlers asked as they backed towards the door where the baron likely resided behind.
“He’s Steadhart, the Platinum ranked adventurer that worked for Navarre. Also known as the black swordsman. He helped us capture the man responsible for attacking Navarre,” the man in armor said as he looked at Terry in concern who looked back with a smile.
“Steadhart, The Black Swordsman? Where is his equipment and swords?” asked the butlers in suspicion.
“My armor broke when fighting the assailant. The blood covering me is his, he’s some kind of monster. But I was able to handle him by shoving my swords through his body,” Terry lied. “But if you don’t believe me, you can just see here.”
Terry showed the platinum guild plate to the butlers who looked at each other in surprise and at Terry in respect.
“Alright,” the butlers said as they moved away from the door while the maids continued looking and smiling at Terry with eyes of lust.
Heh, I could totally get married and have kids with any girl I want by using this skill, but considering how I’m not a simp or a harem type of guy, I only use this skill for getting a job done, how sad, Terry thought.
Terry fakely smiled back at the girls before leading the man in armor into the room where the baron awaited.
“So Hector, did you guys succeed?” asked a man atop a bed. The room was well lit with several lamps illuminating the room. A large king sized bed sat at a wall where a man and woman sat. the baron and his wife. There were 2 young kids as well who sat upon the bed beside their probable parents.
Hector trembled violently as Terry shut the door behind him to get a good look at the man before him, his target.
Slit!
[Activating Spur]
Within 5 seconds, Terry moved the baron’s entire family to the bed where he set their incapacitated bodies before sticking his arm into the baron’s open mouth to serve as a gag.
Hector looked at Terry in surprise but considering how Terry had already murdered 12 people equal to him in power or so, he was more focused on his revenge.
Chomp
The baron bit hard into Terry’s flesh while flailing madly. But before he could make any noise, Terry’s blood began to flow into his mouth from a cut Terry had made upon his own flesh.
[Activating Blood Regeneration]
[Activating Blood Compulsion]
“Have at him Hector, he can’t speak nor make any large movements,” Terry said as he stepped away from the Baron who lay flat across the bed.
“You got 5 minutes to finish up,” Terry said as he turned to go sit by the door after closing the curtains as an extra precaution.
“Yes boss,” responded Hector happily as he lifted his axe to split the skull of the youngest son.
Terry watched although not intently since he needed to wait a while to bring out powerful items from the storage. And while Terry hated harming an unconscious foe, the family of such a cruel man were bystanders who needed to be judged.
Hector dropped his shield to the bed and used his hand to grab the brain matter of the child before placing it upon the trembling baron who squealed in terror.
[Activating Muffler]
I can never be too careful, Terry thought.
“Hector, feel free to let loose, no sound can leave this room anymore,” Terry said as he closed his eyes with a yawn. Such a situation was boring to say the least for Terry and he didn’t enjoy such gruesome methods unless he actually had a bone to pick with somebody.
[Equipped Hellspawn Overlord’s Skin=???? Defense; High resistance to magic; Demon/Hellspawn abilities increased]
[Equipped Elculem (Cracked)=2421 damage; Permanently sharp;]
[Equipped Daora’s Fang=518 damage; Emits powerful acid when striking foes; Able to provide antidote for many poisons]
[Equipped Obsidian King Face= Nullify any and all facial damage.]
Damn, Terry thought. I didn’t have time to look at his weapons but damn. While his weapons aren’t as powerful as the likes of Blemien, these are nice. I never would’ve expected that he had part of the Hellspawn Overlord as well.
Well then, we should hurry up and make our move, Din replied. Those outside the room are getting suspicious.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
“Lord Scythe, are you okay?! Hector, what’s going on in there?” yelled the butlers and maids as they smacked their hands against the door.
[Activating Blood Compulsion]
“I made the right choice to serve you boss. You have allowed me to get my revenge and allow me to understand your every move, I am blessed,” said Hector happily as he got up from the bloody bed.
Terry had used his skill to help Hector recognize Terry as he was covered in powerful equipment, a disguise of sorts. He wore the same robe as Steadhart but it was a bit different than a typical robe and felt as if it was sucking upon Terry's very skin through his undershirt. Likely a cause of having had hellspawn blood running through him. The black mask Terry also wore looked exactly the same as for Steadhart, a black skeleton mask.
The swords Terry held tightly were remarkable though as he held both in each hand. Elculem was gripped firmly in Terry's left hand while his right clenched hard upon Daora's Fang. Daora's fang was the sword Terry wasn't able to see very well in his encounter with Steadhart so he took a moment to examine the green, razor-sharp edge. Both master-crafted blades felt nice and cold in his hands although he was much more used to a small gun. But even so, a disguise needed to be maintained.
Terry glanced at the bed but as he became hungry at the gruesome sight he turned away.
Click!
Terry opened the door to stare at the small crowd before him.
“You... why... what?” stammered the group as they stared at Terry.
“I have killed the baron,” Terry said.
The group continued to stare at Terry and then at his blades.
“Liar, there’s no blood upon your blades,” said a butler as the group carefully stepped away while grabbing whatever weapon they had such as kitchen knives or scissors.
Sh*t, Terry thought angrily as he kept his gaze locked with the butler before him.
“You have the chance to serve me, or die,” Terry said calmly.

[Activating Blood Contract]
[Blood contract made, unable to be broken other than by the vampire whose blood has been used for the contract. Nullified if the used blood is purified. Those who break the set terms to a certain extent shall lose their soul to the Contractor]
Terry watched as without saying a word, many of the maids and butlers ran away to leave the mansion while out of the total 40 or so, 27 remained. Terry was surprised by those who stayed but understood why when two of the butlers attacked him.
Slash!
Terry cut through the fools like butter and grew angry yet tired.
“Hector, take care of these fools, I have an announcement to make,” Terry said as he jumped to the large window of the bedroom while Hector took his place at the door, blocking the attackers with his bloody shield and axe.
Smash!
Terry used his new swords to shatter the glass of the large window easily while cutting the curtain to ribbons.
“Ryan! Kingsman! Come here now! And you people of this great city, come to the mansion of the baron who I, Steadhart The Black Swordsman, have slain!” Terry yelled into the streets brightly lit by large torches.
