Luke flew back to his apartment in relative peace. His main base of operation was about to move, so he had to take that into account for any future endeavors. Making sure he left in time for his magic lessons and occasional visit to the river, navigating from Rhonda's shop to the store, the increased traffic from being in a busier part of town, etc.. Luckily, he could fly with his telekinesis, so a lot of that would become moot after a couple days when he got used to the change.
After a few minutes of flying, he reached his apartment, opened the door, and telekinetically grabbed all of his equipment at once before flying back to Rhonda's shop, a ball of exercise equipment following along behind him. Moving so much material at once took quite a bit of concentration on Luke's part, as he needed to make sure all the bits didn't slam into each other or fall down to the pedestrians and buildings below.
Another flying mage almost ran into the wide load as they came around a corner immediately after Luke went by, not realizing he carried a massive wad of exercise equipment behind him. Luke was able to move his baggage out of the person's way as they also dipped down closer to the sidewalk, making sure no one and nothing got hurt.
As he arrived at Rhonda's shop with all his equipment in toe, Luke saw the door had been broken in. It had been detached from the top hinge, the bottom one barely keeping it from falling completely, blocking the doorway as it leaned across it. Luke used one of his weights to open it fully as he sped toward the door, the metal disk able to undergo significantly more acceleration than he could safely. The flight being magic didn't just make G-forces disappear.
As he arrived inside, he saw three teenagers wrecking the front, one attempting to make it past the counter and into the back, but being kept back by a swarm of knives that Rhonda was using to protect her stock. Luke's exercise equipment clanged to the floor loudly as he shifted his focus from the equipment to the teens. He first froze the one attempting to go after the actual potions and materials first, as they were the biggest threat here. The decorations could be fixed and/or replaced quite simply, while the potions were weeks - if not years - of effort wasted, should they make it back there.
The teen only froze in place momentarily before regaining full control of themselves. Luke checked his spellform, and it was perfect. His target shouldn't be able to move. As they turned to look for the source of this new magic, Luke said, "How are you able to move?"
The two causing chaos on the walls turned to look at him as the one he attempted to freeze said, "What are you, retarded? It's basic magic theory, idiot. Magic can't directly affect living matter that isn't your own, so I just need to make an inverted telekinesis coat around myself as strong as yours to cancel it."
"This retard her husband?" The left teen asked.
"Never saw him until today, doubt someone as hot as her would go for someone this retarded," right teen responded.
"Never know, some people like stupid partners. Makes them feel smart," left countered.
As they had this exchange, Luke was wondering how to get these teenagers out of here without hurting them. They may be delinquents, but they could also be the future fraxion exterminators he was working to buy time for. He decided to accept the risk of breaking their bones, as that would at least be more practice for someone else with their medical magic.
So, he telekinetically slid the weights off his barbell before sending the weights after the peanut gallery while sending the bar after the kid in the middle, making sure to keep the bluntest parts toward the teens so they would take the least damage possible. It was a bit like intense juggling, where each piece fell at different speeds so you couldn't just get in a rhythm, or trying to tie both your shoes at the same time. Something someone with enough dexterity could do, but would take significant focus.
"Oooo, we got a fighter," left said, easily dodging the relatively slow moving projectile. It instantly changed direction, slamming into the side of their stomach, causing them to yelp in pain as they bent over and slid out of its way. It hadn't had much speed or time to accelerate, but it was still 50 pounds of solid metal moving rapidly.
Right had a significantly easier time of dodging their weight, Luke's focus primarily on left. "Ha! That's what you get for being cocky," they said, pointing at left.
Middle grabbed onto the bar and used their own telekinesis to make sure Luke couldn't use it as a weapon against them.
Luke walked toward middle as he tried to push left into the wall with the weight, picking their feet off the ground with telekinesis before they could counter it, but they simply flew themselves out of the way of the weight.

At the end of the day, no one here wanted to hurt anyone else, so this would be a test of endurance and ability to escape capture. And these teenagers had been escaping the police for weeks now.
Right telekinetically took hold of the weight Luke sent after them and tried to push it back at Luke, but Luke's grip of it was absolute, making their attempt simply freeze it in place as middle telekinetically slid themselves across the floor, trying to take out Luke's legs.
In response, Luke brought one of his foldable mats from the pile of exercise equipment and used it to block the teen, attempting to wrap it around their legs as he did. The teen slammed themselves into the ceiling to escape the grapple attempt as left's pain lessened enough to stop being a distraction, who then attempted to telekinetically flip Luke onto his stomach.
Luke stopped himself long before he hit the ground and superman-flew at right teen, going in for a grapple while also pulling them toward him.
They disappeared, fully. One second, they were there, the next, they were gone. This confused Luke, who stopped himself and returned to a standing position, looking around for the teen while keeping track of the positions of the other two.
Middle took the momentary distraction to fully take control of Luke's barbell and send it flying at him, long-end-on so it wouldn't pierce him, should he not notice it. As Luke went to take it back under control, he felt a grab on his leg, which rapidly transformed into an upward pull on his knee. Not telekinesis, but an an actual person grabbing his leg.
This distraction was enough to prevent him from forming the movement spellform in time, the bar slamming directly into his chest and rolling up his chest slightly as he looked down at his leg, where nothing at all failed to lift his muscular leg up.
He kicked it out, and he heard a grunt as he impacted something. Right teen came out of invisibility and fell onto their back from the sudden kick, though left didn't give Luke enough time to properly process this as they used one of Luke's own dumbbells to take out his standing knee from behind, causing him to fall over.
Luke began mending his bruises as they formed while standing back up. "Had enough, old man?" Middle asked.
Luke didn't verbally respond, attempting to telekinetically grab all three teens at once, which they rapidly countered.
"I guess he really is retarded," right said as they all countered his telekinesis. "Doesn't even learn his lesson from the first try."
Luke kept increasing the strength of the telekinesis on each of the teens, making them move more slowly as they had to continuously adjust to the ever-increasing pressure around their entire body. He used this weakness to fly over to right as they had to keep focus on not getting squished and grab them, their ability to move not entirely removed, but hampered enough that they couldn't simply dodge him.
As he was pushing them to the floor, he heard middle say, "Screw this, I'm near my limit. I'm out," before running for the door.
Right before they escaped, Rhonda telekinetically moved the door back where it should be, her knives long since dropped in exchange for a phone in her hand, 911 already called. "You're not leaving until the police get here," she said.
Assuming that they meant their magic capacity, Luke also eased up on the teen so his telekinesis would only freeze them in place, should they fully drop it, rather than potentially squish them to death. Simultaneously, he grabbed his barbell and his largest weights, put them on the barbell, and trapped right teen under them, making them unable to move without first pushing multiple hundreds of pounds off of themselves, first.
"Oh, heck no, if the police are on their way, we're out of here," left teen said before overpowering Rhonda's grip on the door, smashing it completely off its hinges, overpowering Luke's hold of themselves to fly out the door rapidly. On the way, they physically picked up middle and attempted to telekinetically grab right out of under Luke's weights, but Luke kept right teen in place, content to let the other two escape as long as he could keep one back for the police.
Left paused directly outside the door, let middle down, and went back in for right after they realized they failed to get them. "Hurry up, we don't want to be caught," middle called back.
"I know," left said, flying over right and attempting to physically yank them out of the weights alongside their own telekinetic pulling. "Who is this guy, anyway? He's not just muscle."
Luke kept right under the weights as he said, "I'm Luke, a patron of this potion shop you tried to destroy. I'll make you a deal."
As left kept trying and failing to get them out, right responded, "Oh yeah? What bargaining power you got?"
"I could have three fights like we just had and still have gas left in the tank. Your friend's not going to get you out of there if I don't let you. If you agree to spar with me once a week, I will let you go," he stated, calmly.
"Luke!" Rhonda admonished.
"What? They're decent and I won't need to pay for it. It will also help develop them into fraxion killers," he said.
Right and left tried to work together to get left out from under the weights, simultaneously pushing, pulling, and telekinetically lifting the weights to no avail, Luke had effectively locked them in place.
"They wrecked the front of my shop!" Rhonda exclaimed.
"Did they break any potions?" Luke asked.
"...No, but still, they should at least pay for all they've done, not just here, but to other shops, as well," Rhonda said.
Sirens could be heard in the distance as Luke responded, "They'll pay by having to deal with me weekly. Sounds like the police are arriving soon, what's your decision?"
Right never stopped struggling, but left and middle looked at each other through the door before coming to a silent agreement.
"Fine, you win. We'll be back after the cops settle down to talk details," middle said.
"You better," Luke said, letting right escape.
They sprinted out the door before flying up and away.
"If I hear you did something else around the city, I'm going to personally come find you and take you to the police myself!" Luke threatened out the doorway.
