As vast as the galaxy was, news could still spread incredibly fast if one was within the range of the Uninet. For many beings, the Time Devouring Beast was nothing of importance, a disaster that they did not need to care or even think about. However, for some others, the news about its retreat was noteworthy enough for them to immediately try to understand the situation.

One such person was obviously Morgiana. Since her group was currently operating in Neverland, she had made sure to keep herself pinged on any news related to that planet. Small or big, it did not matter much for her as long as it was news regarding Neverland. The most important thing was avoiding missing anything and letting her teammates fall in danger.

After Noah left Oz, she had doubled down on the information gathering. The incoming auction was stressing her greatly but this was nothing in the face of the danger her friends might face.

This was why, when she saw the video of the combat, she could only stare in confusion and disbelief.

Morgiana knew that Noah was strong. Incredibly so. Beating Omid then Cowardly Lion was more than enough proof of his abilities as a warrior.

But this was in a whole different realm. A good warrior did not necessarily make a good pilot. From what she was seeing from the video however, Noah was far beyond just good. His display of skills was incredible and she wondered who taught him.

There was no way he could have learnt all of that in the few days of training he had on Oz. But if he actually did gain all those skills in the span of that short time, then he went beyond simply being a genius to a bonafide monster.

More importantly,

“Since when can he use fire?” His pyromancy was one of the things that baffled her, maybe the most out of all the new knowledge. Dark Matter manipulation was not easy by any means and converting Dark Matter into an element was even less so. Those with the ability to convert it into different elements were generally born with such abilities or used a special medium like Dorothy’s boots.

As far as she knew, the Shadowblade model did not offer such power.

Her communicator vibrated, breaking her out of her thoughts.

Clearly, she was not the only one keeping an eye on the situation as she could see two code names appearing on her com.

Sleeping Beauty.

Snow White.

Those two were the main force behind the mission on Neverland.

“Accept.”

Two holographic screens immediately appeared in front of her, showing her the visage of her companions and dear friends.

“You two have to give me a serious explanation about why you called me. We had already decided to go low for now.” Morgiana might not be the strongest in the team but she was still the vice-captain.

Sleeping Beauty immediately started throwing questions like there was no tomorrow.

She was a petite woman with a slim body. Her clothes made her more like a punk than a princess with her ripped shorts and tank top.

“Firstly. He is not a veteran. Secondly, I already explained the distribution system. Finally, I am as surprised as you are. But remember, if we reach a point where you guys have to use your mecha then we already lost.”

[I understand. Don't worry. The problem is, I think we will have to change plans. Wasn't he supposed to join incognito? That doesn't seem incognito to me.]

Sleeping beauty let out a snicker of amusement.

Even if the special gas on the planet made him younger, there was simply no way anyone would be fooled by that display.

There was also no way the Pied Piper of Hamelin or the Candy Witch would be stupid enough to try and kidnap someone who could go head-on against a Cosmic Beast.

Morgiana bit her lips as she also recognized the situation that was on their hands.

[I have an idea.]

Snow White, who had remained silent all this while finally spoke. She was in an unknown location, holding onto a sheathed sword that was nearly as long as her body.

Snow White was the muscle of the team. The one they sent when they needed people to die fast. But this did not mean she was stupid.

[Since he is a VIP we can join as his guard. No one outside of the higher-ups in the guild knows that we are handling the kidnapping case. Why not use his new fame to act in the open?]

“Oh?” Morgiana raised an eyebrow, recognizing the merits of Snow White's idea.

After this stunt, there was no way Noah wouldn't be welcomed as a Super VIP in Neverland. He might even be able to approach the Dark Knight or directly meet with Peter Pan.

This is dangerous. But…

Fire flickered in her eyes as she breathed in and out, her expression was filled with indecision. The initial plan was made with security in mind and to let the girls have a way to escape incognito should anything happen.

But if they were to act in the open, this plan would help them immensely. It would also jeopardize their abilities to sneak out without being noticed, however.

“Only one of you will approach. Snow White. It will be you. You have enough power to flee should anything happen. Sleeping Beauty, you will stay in the Dark.”

[Roger!]

Sleeping Beauty accepted immediately. She was not a front-line fighter. So there was indeed no need for her to appear on the front. Her talents were better used on the Uninet.

[Understood.]

Snow White had no reason to refuse. She was clearly interested in meeting and discussing with Noah. So it was all good for her.

“Very well. Anything else, I should know?” She asked. Since they would not be able to communicate much, they needed to say everything now.

[Well. It seems like the action of our new guys attracted a few big fishes. Even if it's the wrong ones.]

Sleeping Beauty chuckled to herself.

“What do you mean?” Morgiana did not like where this was going.

[The ships of Captain Hook and Captain Ahab showed signs of movement. Destination unknown. But there is a high chance they are coming to Neverland.]

“Fuck.” Morgiana cursed out loud. She shouldn't have been surprised. One lost an arm to the Time-Devouring Beast while the other one lost a leg to the Space Swallowing Whale.

There was no way they wouldn't be interested in Noah and she was sure that they weren't the only ones.

She bit her nails, hard. “Chaos will most likely ensue in Neverland but this might be a chance for us.”

Not all pirates were enemies. One simply needed to know how to use them.

“Let's do this.” It seemed like endlessly more complications were stacking up in the already complicated situation.
