The laws of the land meant that the human children would have to start school in September but the young of the demons were already doing so. If the gods had realised that they were people then it would also have applied to the slimes but instead they practiced an oral tradition from parent to child similar to how home schooling was intended to work.
The humans were currently teaching their own children as if they were in master apprentice relationships with the parents and would continue to do so for those old enough not to be required to attend formal schooling. This would apply to Wolfe and Coop, who were sixteen and eighteen respectively on the anniversary of their birth in the previous year, Coop had turned nineteen on 1st April but Wolfe would not be seventeen until 2nd December. The people who worked at the docks were the siblings of Coop aged over sixteen but there were also some younger who would be participating in official education.

John had continued training and adventuring as support to Lavella and her party. He was even getting formal education through the guild over and above towards his throwing skill but they asked him to teach the Telekinesis Skill to those for whom it would be useful.

The first dives into the harbour dungeon had begun, these were a number of single vessel parties with one ship and thirty crew. Each of them was going through a separate instance of that version of the dungeon with a naval battle of there Ship versus another of the same class. As cannons were in their infancy in the previous world many of the shots fired missed.
Eventually the dungeon's vessels did manage to sink some of the others but those hands lost found themselves in a position as if they had never challenged the dungeon. Some of the others managed to still be afloat after sinking the rival vessel and were rewarded as predetermined with repaired vessels and healed wounds plus small chests containing gold coins.

Dives continued into the various dungeons across the world, meaning only the undead one was not being cleared regularly since that was elsewhere.
The demons, slimes, humans, orcs, dwarfs, elfs, tar people and fire elementals all had their various adventurers improve in combat over the months.
In August the undead dungeon overflowed and claimed part of the surface of the second world in the system to gain a population. Some of the former monsters, the ones that should be sapient, were linked in to the system and alerted to the existence of the gods. They were included in the next round of people to be educated, it not being September yet. Meanwhile they were encouraged to start being delvers for the dungeon.

Come September there were schools and colleges beginning across both worlds, teaching divinely mandated topics such as the history of the demons and the core skills. The six mortal, two elemental and four undead species were deliberately mixed as much as possible, with the new ghoul, vampire, ghost and lich species representing the sapient undead. The various foodstuffs for the undead were produced magically so they did not have to gain it from mortals like in legends.

Almost nothing noteworthy happened over the course of the rest of the year beyond people unlocking theorised classes, such as those for various ranks of nobility including Edvard becoming king by class as well as title and the adventurer's guild spread out of demon lands and across both the mortal and undead controlled locations.
On the first of January, there was a celebration of the anniversary of the transmigration. Everyone in Retowner was encouraged to participate but those elsewhere were not.
The harbour dungeon continued its expansion and delves across the full range of dungeons continued.
In July the first formal schooling for non-demons was completed and they were tested to see how much they'd retained. Some of them had missed the mark on mandatory topics because they had not had enough time to study the complete syllabus, allowances were made given they'd started schooling late - most had already been focusing on topics that were specific to this world as they had already been taught the other subjects previously.
