Chapter four: Great cities and the rivalry between the clans of the steppe

"Humans are a failed species. They continue to use the technology we give them for selfish wars and despicable means. Why do we continue to give them technologies that they will only abuse?"

"Still, they barely pass the line required to advance."

"It seems the time to intervene in their affairs is coming; we must prepare them for change." (??? ??? ???

The seventeenth floor will be the saurians floor. I select the template, and the floor begins to take shape. Unlike the previous floors, this floor is a pre-existing template; the city is a glass city with massive glass and steel structures. Each structure is taller and wider than any structure on earth. The most prominent buildings are the eco-towers that contain farms, simulated forests, and lakes. The massive towers are so broad they could hold entire towns inside. The buildings have parks and huge verandas with trees, green shrubs, pathways, gardens, and vending machines that dispense premade food.

The streets are spotless and made of continuous granite slabs that have no cracks, lines, or any indications the slabs were laid down. The multitude of shops and entertainment areas is staggeringly advanced. However, despite all kinds of things going on at once, it was just…empty. Without inhabitants, it was very lonely and empty.

So I began spawning in saurians all over, thousands of them. Alongside them, I put robots and androids. The robots could help the saurians with their daily needs and defend and attack any adventurer that dared to get this far. The saurians needed a leader, so I made a queen saurian with stunning feminine features. The saurians had breasts, but they were not as pronounced as humans. Glittering green scales covered the outside of the breasts, while pale green accentuated the insides. The nipple was non-existent due to insufficient use and evolution, deciding they were no longer necessary. The scales on the breasts made them shine and glitter. She was slender with fantastic feminine wiles. You could compare her almost to a vague Argonian Woman.

"you are to be named Chik Ishikssc Suu, the first queen, and your firstborn female egg shall be your Primogeniture."

"Of course, by your grace, she shall be strong, smart, kind, and just. She will pity no enemy and take her place along your side as the greatest ruler after me."

"I expect great things from your race and that this city will be the fortress that will stall my enemies indefinitely."

"So shall it ever be your greatness."

Rexus.

"Bring me Cheschu. I require his advice."

"Yes, chief"

Rexus had been tasked with ensuring the number of the beast stayed within the creators' guidelines, the sapiens had been overkilling the wooly rhinos, and despite the giant clans' warnings, they had refused to stop poaching the rhinos. The sapiens had been killing the rhinos despite having enough food to sustain them.

"Chief, it seems Cheschu has been called out on an issue with the sapiens."

"Really now? Tell me, what did they do now?

The narrative has been taken without permission. Report any sightings.

"It seems while we rounded up our mammoth herds, they had attacked the herds and drove one away where they killed it by a spear to the chest."

"This has gone too far, it seems… What of the numbers of the sapiens villages, Friend?"

"70 hunters"

"Ah, I should say better. What are the numbers of all the sapiens on the floor?"

The man took a few moments to think, using his fingers in a merchant's calculation. The giants had been taught by the great creator to use their fingers in gestures to count to higher numbers than they could calculate just by using their hands separately. It seems the numbers of the sapiens were higher than thought.

"About Fourteen thousand chief"

"Prepare a party of 1000 giants; we will cull their numbers by four thousand."

"Of course, chief, right away."

"Oh, make sure the bodies don't waste on the rock fields; we could eat them or bury them in the wheat fields for fertilizer."

"Yes, chief"

The man left, and the giant chief walked to his armor stand. A set of leather armor was draped over the rack. The armor was hard and furry at the touch; It was primarily made of mammoth leather and a few other mutated beast leathers stacked up and stitched together. His second wife had made it. Bless her heart. He wasn't sure of the cause of death; it was a sickness of sorts. He pressed his hand against the stitching feeling the bumps from the thread.

His first wife Zhku had given birth to his firstborn son Kai, a fine boy, healthy and strong at birth. He cried like a roaring lion. The boy was seven this year, and he had all kinds of weird ideas. Sometimes he mumbled strange words like guns and missing something called video games. He had learned magic at four and taught the giants a great deal about magic. He was proud of his son. If only his secondborn were as bright as him, it seemed he came out with half a brain. He was sure if his spunk were good enough to make a son like Kai, then surely his second-born would be just as good. Bah. Who cares? He was still his son…. Or was he… surely Shuhyi wouldn't cheat on him with some idiot? He'll have to ask the great creator later.

"Oh Zhku, I can't believe I would doubt the loyalty of the wife the creator gave to me

The wooden door behind him opened, and a female giant came in. She noticed him looking at the armor, yearning for his second wife. She came up and wrapped her arms around him.

"she lives with the creator on the floor of Agantha."

"Kuh! cough* Shuhi, have you come to see me put on my armor, and see me off?"

The giantess blinked and nodded. "yes, I heard you talking with Chucus; you were going to cull the small people numbers."

"they are called sapiens, but yes."

"then shall I dress you in your armor, dear?"

"Yes, I would appreciate that."

……………….

Tess was just a fourteen-year-old girl when the giants came and slaughtered her village and killed her mother and father. She had never felt the love of a family on earth. When she was an office worker in China, life was unfair and terrible. Her parents had passed away in an accident on a subway when she was just four years old. Her aunt took her in, and life was hell. She beat her one inch from life for accidentally breaking a lucky cat statue worth 70 yuan.

When she finally moved out into an apartment, she was stable for a long time, then her aunt, who used up all her money on TCM to cure her aging body, came crawling to her for money. She didn't give a fuck about her and told her to leave and not come back. Then a few days later, when she was walking home after work, she passed a woman in a hood. The woman who turned out to be her aunt ran her down with a knife to the heart.

She spent a long time in pure blackness before coming out of a tunnel. she had been reborn as a human girl in another world, although her parents and family referred to themselves as sapiens rather than humans. To her, it was all the same. Every day her parents prayed to a statue in the shape of a wooden goddess, and she prayed with them. Life was hard at first. The men went out to hunt while the women learned magic and made armor for the men. Although there weren't any modern conveniences such as running water and toilets (the latter was hard to accept), she did her best and chugged through life with her loving family. She had a mother and father and a little sister (Saline); everything was perfect.

Then a message in her head from the great creator came.

"take your little sister and the village's children to the jungle! You must hurry; the giants are coming to cull your numbers."

"Creator! What about my mother and father?"

"There's no time; you must hurry! Your mother is too far in the wheat fields to save her. The children have been guided by my magic to your location; when you get to the jungle, build a sanctuary with the children; you will be safe from the animals. I'll make sure of it."

"Big sister, here we are. Did you need us?"

Tess cried but knew she was running out of time.

"Come on, let's all go to the forest to play!"

"Sister, are you crying? Are you sad?"

"no, I'm just happy to see you. Let's go; no, let's race. The first person who looks back will be hung up a tree by their undies."

"Alright, let's go, everyone."

"yay!"

As the last of the 70 children entered deep into the forest, Tess looked back just in time to see a giant run through the fields and smash a fleeing woman with a club. It was her mother. Her mother flew 50 ft before crashing into a clay building in a heap.

Tess swore on that day she would murder every giant in this world.
