Chapter 3

Chapter 3

Everyone is looking at me with a shocked expression, no one said anything after I named my attack, that is, until Earl said "Blood magic.." with a expression full of fear. "It all makes sense now, no wonder I wasn't able to read the aptitude... But how did you get the blood magic, I thought all the humans that held the trait were wiped out..."

"Oh... That, some person who called himself 'God' gave it to me, though I much rather refer to it as 'meat magic'..."

"Well.." said Earl, before looking at my parents and continuing, "We're either going to have to hide this, or put him into a pact with a Dark elf... That's the only way it'd be believe able..."

"A pact?! But he's too young! Shouldn't he decide that on his own!?" my mother interjected.

"Though I think with his intelligence he should know that it's the best option for all of us!" said Earl.

"I, also, think that since he's my son, he wont mind being betrothed to a beautiful elf!" said my father... Only to get a scornful look from my mother.

Silence enveloped the room after that last... Comment. Before he started up once more by saying, "You know, our distant relatives ARE elves... The idea shouldn't be outright rejected."

"That could work... You are related to the An'shai tribe, correct?" Stated Earl.

"But that was many generations ago! Even then no one got blood magic from it! How could it skip all the other generations?!" shouted my father... Though I think he just wanted to marry an elf.

And after a bit more... Uninteresting parts of the conversation, I am to be forced into a 'pact' with an elf. Though, bacon is my true love, and I shan't love anyone else.

Two months has passed since then, the only notable thing is once more being able to walk. Though, I never forgot how to,it's just my body couldn't handle it. Though, now that I am able to walk, I have been sneaking around to practice 'Meat magic' Once more, I ran to my normal spot, the forest behind the house.

Once I am in my normal spot, in front of a huge Oak tree, well in this world it's not referred to as oak, but that is what it is, so I shall refer to it as such. I start trying to maintain a meatball, rather than shooting it.

I heard a twig snap behind me, so I turn around to look, there was a wolf, it was pure black and its front leg was broken. On a side note, it was running at me full force. I shoot at it with my meatball, but it dodged it. I try again, but this time with a much smaller one, mainly due to the fact that the wolf was close and I couldn't make it any bigger. The wolf tried to dodge it, but it was too slow, the Meat bullet, as I shall refer to it from now on, pierced through its eye, and out the back of its head. By this time, it was already upon me, and crashed full force onto me.

After rolling a few times, the wolf found itself about ten foot from me, and I am right against the oak tree. As I approached the corpse, I started wondering how I would bring it back to the house, or even how I would explain it. Figuring I could just figure out the latter when I got there, I set to dragging the corpse back.

'Damn.. its heavy..' I thought to myself. I could have sworn I felt the wolf get lighter, but I paid it no heed, as I proceeded to carry it over my shoulder back to the house. It took awhile, about 2 hours actually. By now it was dusk, and I was too tired to do anything. I ended up falling against the house and falling asleep.

I was awakened by a scream, a damn loud one at that. When I look up, I see my mother there... This does not bode well. On a side note... The wolf corpse was comfortable, like a soft pillow.

My father came running out, sword in hand, yelling "What happened!?" then when he seen me he just went "Oh.." almost as if he expected this. "So... Who did you murder, Conba?" he said, jokingly, or at least I hope so. So I just pointed at the pillow... Wolf corpse..

He walks over to... Inspect the corpse. "Where... Where are all the bones?" he asks.

"It don't have any bones?" I ask back, just now realizing that I am covered in blood, I can see why Mother would scream.. "What is that marking on your hand?" "What mark?"

"The white marking running up to your wrist."

As I look down, I realize that there's something that looks like a tattoo of a skeletal hand on top of my hand, going from the tip of my finger, up to my wrist...

Thanks for reading! I tried to add some comedy into this chapter, but it was hard to do, seeing as how I had to focus on... Important stuff. You know, plot forming, and all that. Please point out any errors as I didn't feel like Proofreading it before I posted it.
