"I'm invincible!!!" After saying those words, Boson laughed triumphantly. He was a unique lifeform, transformed from one of the mountains. So his current form was that of a giant titan formed of rocks.
As a Highgod that happened upon a strange godspark, he could feel the uniqueness of it, so after some hesitation, he refined it. He never expected to become so powerful.
The feeling he exuded reminded him of the aura that swept the Infernal Realm over a hundred thousand years ago. His eyes condensed. "I wonder who is stronger?"
"Congratulations."
At that instant, a humanoid figure appeared above Boson. Long black hair, a uniquely beautiful face, and black robes. Who else could it be but Akasha?
Boson frowned upon seeing this and rose up the sky, so he was slightly higher than Akasha. "You're the one who also absorbed this type of unique godspark?"
"It's called a Sovereign spark."
"Sovereign spark?" Boson said, testing the words a few more times on his lips.
"Correct, because we can no longer be confined in the category of god," Akasha said. "Just as saints are ants to gods, so, too, are gods ants to Sovereigns. Perhaps the gulf is even wider."
Boson's eyes widened. Boson knew he had gained immense power, but he never expected there to be such a difference. "What do you want?"
"Nothing, since we both are Sovereigns of Destruction, I felt that it would be prudent to form a relationship with my future subordinate."
Upon hearing this, Boson snorted. "It remains to be seen who is whose subordinate."
Boson didn't happen to pick up the Sovereign spark. He had fought with several other gods in order to do so, and he was the overlord of the area. How could he be willing to follow someone from just a few words?
Akasha froze as he felt Boson's fighting spirit. He remembered that Boson was a rather friendly fellow in the novels, so is this not the Boson from the novels? Perhaps Boson was a title passed down?
Seeing that Akasha was frozen, Boson wasn't polite and attacked. Since they are both Sovereigns, then they should be around the same level of strength.
However, Boson's expectations were doomed to fail. As he unleashed his punch boosted by his understanding of the Edict of Destruction and Will, it connected with Akasha, who did nothing, but the scene of Akasha flying into the distance did not happen.
Instead, Akasha did not even move an inch, and Boson's fist felt as if it was locked into place. There was a sigh, and before Boson knew it, his vision blurred. When he regained his clarity, he discovered he was staring at the sky.
"Give up. You can't defeat me," Akasha said.
"I was just careless. It won't happen again." Boson said as he quickly stood up again, far warier than before.
Akasha shrugged and chopped the space, creating a spatial tear leading to the chaotic space. "Let's go. Our fight will unnecessarily damage the Infernal Realm."
Boson hesitated as he watched Akasha step into the chaotic space outside of the Infernal Realm, but he resolutely stepped out upon seeing the provocative smirk. The moment he stepped into the chaotic space, Boson discovered that with the power of Will, he could easily maneuver the endless tides.
"Hurry up and fight. I don't have all day."
Boson felt his face flush in anger, although no one could tell since his face was made of rocks. "You're looking down on me too much!"
Boson unleashed attack after attack, but without fail, Akasha would easily disperse them. Once in a while, he would unleash an attack that would send Boson reeling in pain. Finally, after an hour, Boson gave up.
"You win. We are both Sovereigns. Why are you so much more powerful than me?
"Gods are divided between Demigods, Gods, and Highgods. Do you think that Sovereigns are different?" Akasha asked.

Boson's face became ugly. "How big is the difference?"
"I'm not sure myself," Akasha said. "You are the only other Sovereign I met in the Infernal Realm."
Actually, Akasha knew thanks to reading Coiling Dragon, but he didn't want to expose himself. How could he explain how he knew the knowledge?
"Then...how did you know?"
"I guessed. I originally didn't want to fight, but since you wanted to, you helped me confirm it," Akasha said.
Boson stared straight up, feeling tired. He had felt like he was king of the world, only to be beaten by reality. Then a thought occurred to him. "Then could I upgrade my Sovereign spark by fusing with a higher spark?"
Akasha laughed. "Unlikely. Since I'm obviously stronger than you, that means I refined a higher Sovereign spark. You know what that means?"
Boson's face became ugly again and then sighed.
Akasha and Boson returned to the Infernal Realm. Boson invited his new boss to his Boson Pavillion, the strongest force in the surrounding area. When Akasha walked inside, he was surprised by how large the buildings were.
Then he nodded. Right now, it was still the early stages of the universe, so the higher realms were still dominated by divine beasts and special lifeforms. It wasn't strange for the buildings to be different, but that didn't mean Akasha liked it.
"You're too tall, shrink for me."
Boson felt like an arrow had pierced him for no reason, but he still followed orders and shrunk himself. Not long after, Akasha left, allowing Boson to breathe. He was afraid that Akasha would take over his organization and dominate the Bloodridge Continent.
Before leaving, Akasha made sure to warn Boson not to have any ideas on his Chaotic Sea.
Once Akasha returned to Atlantis, the most prosperous city in the Chaotic Sea and ruled by the Chaotic Sea Army that Akasha had formed. Unlike the Starmist Sea and other continents, the Chaotic Sea already knew the distinction between Sovereign and gods since Akasha displayed her might by destroying a whole city for daring to disobey.
In the center of Atlantis, Akasha descended into the forbidden area Elysium. He summoned for Platos to arrive.
Not long after, a middle-aged man with sea-blue hair arrived. He was only a God, but thanks to Akasha's guidance, he had already fused three laws of water. He even gave Platos Sovereign's Might to protect himself. Naturally, Akasha made him swear not to leak the secret of fusing mysterious without permission.
"Sovereign."
Platos deferentially knelt down, not daring to look at his master.
"Secretly arrange for some Gods and Highgods to descend onto the material planes. I want you to spread my name as the Sovereign of Annihilation. And make sure to have them swear to the Overgods and keep their mouths shut." Akasha ordered.
"As Your Majesty wishes," Platos said. Although he was only a mere god, he was gifted with three Sovereign artifacts, making in unkillable, so his prestige was still quite high.
The birth of the Bloodridge Sovereign made Akasha slightly impatient to increase his strength. Honestly, he expected the Sovereigns to appear sooner, but strangely, it took so long. Perhaps this was the universe's favor to the first lifeform of the higher plans. He knew that the Chief Sovereign of Death was the first lifeform in the Nether Realm too.
Akasha frowned. "Chief Sovereign sounds too barbaric. Definitely not. From now on, only the elemental Sovereigns will be known as chiefs while edict sovereigns will be known as Grand Sovereigns."
Although it was a minor detail, Akasha felt great pleasure.
After a while, Akasha recalled the material plane he was born in. His eyes flashed, and his figure disappeared. When he reappeared, he was in the teleportation circle of the Chaotic Sea.
"Halt! Who Dares—" The captain never got to finish as he saw Akasha flash the Chaotic Sea Medallion. It was something Akasha refined to represent the holder was carrying out his will, so it exuded terrifying destruction-type energy even for Highgods.
"My lord, where do you wish to go?" The captain bowed and asked.
"Olympus Plane."
The captain quickly ordered the soldiers to activate the teleportation portal. After Akasha left, a soldier couldn't help but walk up and ask. "Was that the legendary Chaotic Sea Medallion?"
The captain nodded, and the soldier sighed in amazement. "I wonder who that lord was, to be able to be trusted with a Chaotic Sea Medallion."
Thanks to the popularization of Sovereign's Might, inkstones were now seen as the common currency of the Chaotic Sea. Everyone knew that each inkstone contained a tiny trace amount of Sovereign's Might, and many people tried to refine Sovereign's Might by gathering inkstones, but they all failed.
The usage of inkstones didn't spread out of the Chaotic Sea because every expert who came here didn't want to leave since it meant that they had the chance of obtaining Sovereign's Might. And any who knew would eagerly travel to the Chaotic Sea.
"Is the lord someone you can gossip about?" The captain rebuked, causing the soldier to swiftly apologize and return to his duty. Recently, many Highgods were teleported to the material planes, causing them to become busy.
-line break-
When Akasha returned to the Olympus Plane, he felt his soul resonate with his homeland. Spreading his divine sense, Akasha raised an eyebrow in surprise. It wasn't because he sensed three Demigods and a God but because of the humans.
Well, it would be wrong to call them humans just yet. They were closer to apes at the moment, but it seemed that a few million more years should be enough for them to enough if they were lucky enough. But seeing the primitive humans, Akasha couldn't help but sigh.
At that moment, the Edict of Life descended, and even Akasha felt that he had resistance to the almighty laws of the universe. He screamed as he felt his soul be torn in two, but he was happy because he now had a life-type divine clone. With the power of will, it could be unmatched even against Asuras, Highgods who fused five laws.
This was his second clone. After he had become a destruction-type Sovereign, Akasha had spent quite some time learning other laws and edicts, but it was harder than he thought. Compared to Linley, who had four divine clones in two thousand years, Akasha felt like he was a talentless waste!
Not long after, the four gods who sensed the birth of the Demigod arrive, but when they saw Akasha, they couldn't help but still. They initially thought it was only a Demigod, but who would have thought there was another god who they couldn't sense at all.
Akasha's life-type divine clone looked exactly alike except that it wore a forest green robe and had gold-green hair. "Hello, me."
Akasha laughed as his life-type divine clone merged with his main body. Then he cast a glance at the four gods. He didn't deliberately leak anything out, but his eyes exuded untold destruction and extinction.
The God and two Demigods froze under Akasha's gaze. Strangely, the fourth Demigod entered a dazed state after staring into Akasha's eyes, causing him to raise a brow. He soon discovered why as the rules of the universe descended again.
The fourth Demigod screamed in pain as his soul was torn and merged with the Demigod godspark of destruction, creating his new destruction-type divine clone.
Akasha's lips twitched. It might have just been coincidental, but perhaps he stumbled upon a hidden pearl?
"What is your name?"
The fourth Demigod was a giant formed of pure thunder, likely an elemental titan. However, the Demigod didn't answer and glared at Akasha.
"What, are you unwilling to obey?" Akasha asked. Her answer was evident in the rejection in the Demigod's eyes.
He wasn't as polite to them as he was to Boson. If it weren't for the fact that he was from the same material plane, Akasha would have already killed him.
Akasha no longer restrained her aura and caused the whole plane to be dyed black from her immense aura of destruction. Immediately, all four gods staggered back as if their souls had been hammered by something.
"Z-Zeus!" The Demigod finally managed to say.
