CHAPTER TWO
Mitsuha pulled Alex by his hand, rushing him through the many doors and lobbies of the enormous Sky Academy.
The halls and corridors were filled with students, some were dressed in old-fashioned armour, while others had pet creatures by their side. Alex tried to get a good view but it all looked like a blur as she tugged him through the halls.
Some students entered through strange portals that appeared one minute and disappeared in another, while others jokingly casted magic, like snowballs and balls of fire, tossing them at each other playfully.
"This Academy is so bizarre," said Alex, "Is this a school for magicians?"
Alex stumbled around, feeling as if she was pulling him faster than he could walk.
"You're going to be a Wizard," said Mitsuha.
"Really?" asked Alex.
"No." replied Mitsuha laughing.
"Welcome to Aerendel Cloud Academy," said the front desk secretary to a newcomer in line for enrollment at the Academy.
Alex blinked, confused.
Mitsuha had rushed him through the rooms so fast he felt like he had just spent an hour on a carnival ride. He had no idea how he had just ended up at the front desk.
"You're all ready to go, Cortia Crane of Alteros. You'll be Number Six, okay?" said the secretary as she handed a school uniform to a short white-haired girl in front of Alex.
"Thank you!" bowed the short girl as she moved out of line.
Cortia Crane was dressed in a royal blue dress with light plated armour on her shoulders and chest. A sharp rapier hung at her waist held by a silver steel loop.
"That girl has a sword..." said Alex, "Why does she need a sword?!"
"Shhh" said Mitsuha, hushing Alex, "You're up next."
Alex and Mitsuha approached the front of the line.
"Shouldn't that sword be taken from her? It's dangerous to have at school..." said Alex.
"This is Alex. He's a First Year Student from Earth," said Mitsuha introducing him.
"Nice to meet you," said the secretary, "How are you liking the Academy so far? It's fantastic, isn't it. My name is Miss Lisabelle Deed. We'll just get you signed in. I'll have your outfit out and ready in a second."
The secretary leaned over as she searched for Alex's outfit and papers in the drawer in front of her. She dressed in a short black skirt and a white low cut shirt. Her rather large chest pressed outwards at Alex.
Alex couldn't help but look, glancing down her shirt. He tried to look away but it was impossible.
Miss Deed looked up at Alex with a sinister smile.
'Did she just catch me....' thought Alex, more embarrassed than he had ever been.
"Now, I'll need you to just sign these," said Miss Deed, handing Alex the papers and a pen.

Alex leaned over the desk awkwardly. His face was rosy red.
"No-no problem!" said Alex with a stutter, signing the pages right away.
"Did you even read them?" asked Mitsuha, leaning in and looking up at Alex.
Miss Lisabelle quickly snatched the papers back and nodded her head as she flipped through them.
The secretary once again leaned over, this time to pull out Alex's new school uniform.
"Isn't this uniform beautiful?" said Miss Deed, "A exquisite black blazer with white lining, a snow-white dress shirt to accompany it, topped with black dress pants and a freshly shined shoes."
"Will the outfit even fit? I haven't written down my sizes yet," questioned Alex.
"You were measured while in the entry examination," nodded Miss Deed.
Miss Lisabelle Deed held up an assortment of photographs of Alex from out of a dossier marked with his name on it.
Alex and Mitsuha leaned in to get a closer look. Alex's face turned bright red instantly.
Mitsuha quickly pulled out her phone and snapped a picture of the photographs before putting it in her bra like as if it was pocket.
"Are these from the Prologue?!" said Alex with a stutter, "I-I-I-I..."
Alex was bright as a tomato.
Miss Deed held up the pictures for the two to clearly see.
The photos were of Alex standing in the cube-shaped room naked as the day he was born.
"Uh.... That can't be right." said Alex with a gulp.
"See, your measurements are all written down on these cards," said the secretary.
"Hey!.... But, wait!... I wasn't naked during that examination! These aren't real?!" said Alex in a high pitched voice, "I remember wearing pants! I checked!"
Mitsuha zoomed in, staring closely at the picture, giggling with her hand covering her mouth.
"Everyone is naked during the entry examination," smiled Miss Deed, "Nudity is a natural state. Nothing to be embarrassed about."
The two women began to giggle together, making Alex even more embarrassed.
Alex covered his face in humiliation.
"This... day... couldn't... be.. any...more... embarrassing..." mumbled Alex.
Mitsuha lightly poked Alex with her fingers in his side, still giggling.
"Haw-haw," said Alex, crossing his arms, "To make this fair you'll have to show me your exam photos now."
Mitsuha's face went red, "Uh... You wish!" said Mitsuha, "Noooo way!"
The secretary looked over the embarrassing photos one last time, smiling at Alex.
"Good, good. It looks all in order. You will be Number Seven, okay?" said the secretary as she read the signed papers and placed the embarrassing photos back into the dossier.
"What are the numbers for?" asked Alex.
"They serve as your student ID." said Mitsuha.
"Seven seems like a pretty low number for a student ID."
"Six and Seven died," said Mitsuha calmly, "so those IDs were up for grabs again."
"How'd they die?" asked Alex, turning to Mitsuha, "What do you mean they died?!"
The secretary cleared her throat before interrupting the conversation.
"--Now remember. If anything unfortunate happens at this Academy the fault is only yours. We are not liable for any mishappenings now that you have signed away your rights." said Miss Lisabelle.
"Unfortunate Mishappenings?" questioned Alex, "like letting a little girl walk around the halls with a sword? That seems like a pretty bad accident waiting to happen. What kind of school is this?!"
"Well, Aerendel Cloud Academy is primarily a fighting school. Here you will be trained and conditioned to master all of the necessary traits and attributes of the Saviors so that one day you can be a Savior yourself." said Mitsuha.
"Fight school?... Saviors?" questioned Alex, "So this isn't a Wizarding School?"
"Saviors protect the world from devastation." said Miss Deed and Mitsuha at the same time.
"You're joking right?" snickered Alex, "Protect the world from devastation? I can't tell if you guys are joking or not. You guys know that's a line from something else right?"
Miss Lisabelle looked at Alex with a blind stare.
"You guys also know I can't fight right? It must say that in that dossier." said Alex.
"It does," smiled the secretary.
"So then why would I be enrolled in a battling school? There must be a mistake. I've never fought before. I was literally buying a ice cream cone before this all happened. I can't think of anything less manly than that. It was soft vanilla ice cream too. Not even hard scoops of ice cream."
"Well, everything happens for a reason, Alex." said Mitsuha, looking up at him.
"There's no mistakes at Aerendel Cloud Academy," said Miss Lisabelle Deed.
Miss Lisabelle smiled, "Thank you for you enrollment. I'll service the next in line now."
Alex moved to the side to let the next newcomer by.
"You'll be fine," said Mitsuha as she dragged him away from the desk towards a new location.
"I wanna go home," pouted Alex, as the girl dragged him through the Academy.
"You're acting like a baby." said Mitsuha.
