Mitsuha dragged Alex through the dorm rooms.

"2B...2B... Right here. This is your room!" said Mitsuha as she grinded to a halt.

"This is my dorm room?" said Alex with a blank stare.

"2B, huh."

Alex looked at the room number and the key in his hand marked '2B'.

Lightly knocking on the door of the room, Alex unlocked the room with his key.

"Do I have a roommate? Or is this room just for me?" asked Alex to Mitsuha.

Alex swung open the door.

A girl with white hair was holding up her shirt against her body in the mirror. She stood wearing just her matching white and blue striped underwear.

The door creaked as it opened up, catching her attention.

Staring at Alex and Mitsuha, the girl's face went bright red as she dashed away.

"Hey there. I'm your new roommate." said Alex with his hand extended for a handshake.

"I'M CHANGING!" shrieked the girl as she charged into the bathroom beside her.

Alex lowered his hand and turned to Mitsuha.

"Thaaaat's a girl!? Why's there a girl in my dorm room?!"

"No, duh- it's a girl. Didn't you see her cute undies. Aerendel has co-ed everything- dorms and bathrooms and showers. It's not Earth. It doesn't follow Earth-style living." giggled Mitsuha.

The girl peeked out of the bathroom.

"My name is Orianna." said the girl behind the door.

"I'm Alex. Sorry about that." said Alex, "I'm in Room 2B."

"Ohhhh, so you're the other roommate. We thought it might of been a girl. The assignment papers just said Alex on it. We weren't sure if it was going to be boy or girl." said Orianna.

"Yeah, sorry. I'm an Alexander not an Alexis."

"It's nice to meet you, roomie." said Orianna with a smile.

Mitsuha looked out of the window.

"You have a beautiful view of Londor Bell Tower from here." said Mitsuha

"It's gorgeous, isn't it?" said Orianna.

Orianna exited the bathroom still in her underwear and sat on the bed beside Mitsuha.

Alex thought to himself.

'She seemed so bothered by being in her underwear a second ago. Why was she so comfortable about it now all a sudden?' thought Alex.

'Not like I'm complaining though. If she did this every day then maybe Aerendel actually was Heaven?! Pretty girls in their underwear as roommates, heavenly clouds outside my window. All we're missing now is some feathered wings and some golden harps.'

"It really is one of the better dorm rooms on the campus." said Orianna as she showed Mitsuha a copy of her room assignment papers.

"See, it just says 'Alex F.' on the sheet. We thought the F meant Female." said Orianna.

Alex walked through the multiple rooms of his dorm. A kitchen, a bathroom, and a big main room. The kitchen was a smaller room with no door but was stocked with various foods and items. Many of the foods were exotic and unEarthly. The bathroom had a toilet, like every bathroom should, a sink, a large mirror, and ended with a locked door where he felt led to the shower. It felt like this place had everything. He looked down at the three beds in the main room confused.

"There's three beds. What's the extra bed for?" said Alex as he surveyed the room.

"We've already taken the two beds closest to the window. Your's is closest to the kitchen."

Alex looked over at his bed. It was smaller than the others with no window view but he could almost reach the fridge if he really tried. For days of extreme laziness he could probably eat while comfortably in his bed without getting up.

"Who's the other roommate?" asked Mitsuha.

"Maya Vail. An A+ student on her second year. She's always training though." said Orianna.

Orianna strutted over to the kitchen.

"Do you guys want a drink?" said Orianna.

"Sure." said Alex and Mitsuha.

Alex watched as the fridge in the kitchen prepared the drinks for her at command and came back with what looked like three blended ice cappuccinos. Orianna seemed apparently fine about walking around in her striped underwear with company over.

"My first class is Energy Barriers. Professor Golgun supposedly is a grumpy hard-ass but the class is pretty easy." said Orianna.

"Energy Barriers?" said Alex with his mouth wide open.

"Yeah. Simple stuff, just summon a wall of energy and deflect a few of Golgun's projectiles. The class is an easy A." said Orianna

Orianna reached into her cold drink and pulled out an ice cube, sucking on it.

"You know how to make an Energy Barrier, right?" asked Orianna pointing up at Alex.

Orianna tossed the ice cube at Alex, hitting him square on the forehead.

"Ow!" said Alex rubbing his head.

"You were suppose to stop it...with an Energy Barrier stupid..."

"I'm from Earth..." said Alex as she wiped off his forehead with the sleeve of his shirt.

"Sounds like an excuse." said Orianna.

"I can make an Energy Barrier and I'm from Earth." said Mitsuha playfully nudging Alex.

Mitsuha stood up off the bed and summoned a wall of hard-light energy surrounding her like a glass ball. The barrier lasted only a brief second before shattering and disappearing from sight.

"I'm also not Japanese like Mitsuha." joked Alex.

"You think I can only do that because I'm part Japanese?!" said Mitsuha kicking Alex in the shin.

"Ow. No. I was only kidding." said Alex laughing as he rubbed his shin.

"I deserved that one." said Alex, thinking out loud.

Mitsuha smiled at Alex. He knew she liked his stupid sense humour.

Mitsuha looked at Orianna's pictures and paintings on her side of the dorm.

In the painting Orianna stood beside a dozen of white-haired nobility in Alteros. At the center of the picture was Lord Caius Crane in his glorious throne.

"Wait, I know who you are now!" said Mitsuha pointing at the painting on the wall.

"You are Orianna Crane, Niece of Lord Caius Crane!" said Mitsuha with her mouth wide open.

"That's me." said Orianna with a slight smile.

"Who's Caius Crane?" said Alex looking back and forth at the girls.

"He's the Headmaster of Aerendel Academy. He's also Lord and King of a very large realm in Alteros." said Mitsuha.

"Yep." said Orianna, looking away.

"Do you not like Caius Crane?" asked Alex as he picked up on Orianna's body language.

"No, I do. It's not that. It's just usually classmates treat me differently when they realize who I'm related to." said Orianna as she stared out of the window at the students in the park below.

"Well having the pictures up on the wall made it a lot easier." said Alex, pointing at them.

"It's not that. Once you've been at Aerendel for more than a day you realize that the white-haired Crane family is easily distinguishable from the rest. We are basically the only white-haired youth here. It's impossible to hide the fact for more than a week." said Orianna.

"Well, I won't treat you any differently." said Alex as he put his arm around Orianna, who quickly took it off and sat up off the bed.

"Thank you." said Orianna as she walked back over to the bathroom.

"You should dress into your school uniform. We need to get you ready for classes." said Mitsuha.

"But, she's already in the bathroom." said Alex.

"You can get dressed in here if you'd like. It doesn't bother me." said Orianna.

Alex's looked at the two girls, "Uh. I'll get dressed in the kitchen..."

Mitsuha giggled. Alex was so uncomfortable in his new environment.
