Prologe

My gaze fell down to an open and vast space. There was a lake there, inside which various creatures could sometimes be seen. These creatures were nothing like the usual ones. Some of them were clearly too strange, but it wasn't surprising to me. After all, I had been visiting Hogwarts School of Witchcraft for four years.

Almost six years ago, I woke up in this world. The fact of being reborn again was amazing. At first, there was disbelief, then shock. I confirmed the hypothesis of parallel worlds through my own experience.

When I turned 11 years old, something even more amazing happened. I was reborn in the world of a book. This very fact added a note of madness to what was going on in my mind. I realized that some things are more amazing than we know. It's been almost four years since I turned eleven and enrolled in that school.

I took over the body of a boy named Edward Thompson who was an orphan. There was no problem with that, as the orphanage was pretty normal. I thought I might as well create my own legend in this world with the three main characters. But who knew I wasn't that good in any aspect. I was just as ordinary as most muggle-born wizards. I tried many times to improve my abilities through training, meditation, even looking for some potions. In the end, I finally convinced myself in these 4 years that I was a pretty average person, both in my past life and in this life.

Yes, my memory of the past gave me some advantages about self-control, but I am devoid of talent and have to be ordinary. Because of such thoughts, I gradually began to feel inferior. Although I could control myself by forcing myself to act, the frustration seemed to keep growing. And so I began to distance myself from the people around me and also from the trio. The only goal I had was just to finish my studies, survive the war, and if possible, just leave before that and go to the normal world, where I could live a normal life. At least I hope so.

My gaze flinched for a moment when I saw a huge shadow on the lake. It was probably a huge squid. I took a deep breath and exhaled before I turned and walked to my room. It was the Ravenclawtower, and I don't know why the hat had sent me here. But one thing was clear, I didn't look like I belonged in this place. Most likely, I should have belonged to a Puffendoo. But what was already there, I didn't want to think about it since I had homework to do. What doesn't change is school, ehhh... I also have to go to the library...
