Edward finally arrived at the Hogwarts Library. He walked carefully between the shelves, searching for information about the stairs. He believed that the school histories would contain the information he needed. It took him several minutes to find some relevant books.
Settled down on the couch, beneath the magic candles, and placed all the books on a small table. She picked up one of the books and began flipping through it. Edward did not want to spend too much time on this, as his guess might be a waste of time. After leafing through one book for a while, he sighed and placed it back on the table separately from the others.
The book did not have a table of contents, which made it difficult to find the information he needed. He flipped through it for a long time but was unable to find the chapter with the name of the stairs or anything similar. Although there might be some information in the book, Edward was interested in finding information quickly. He can still read the book later.
He picked up the next book titled Secrets of Hogwarts with an strange expression on his face, thinking it looked like clickbait on YouTube in the past. The book probably doesn't refer to real secrets, and it's quite possible that it just describes some mysterious magical things.
However, after thinking about it, he opened the book and started looking for information. As expected, he quickly found entries on ladders.
"The greatest art showing the intelligence and wisdom of Miss Ravenclaw, such an exquisite and beautiful idea shows us one of the founders of Hogwarts..."
The more Edward read, the more his eye twitched. The content was just praise for one of the founders of Hogwarts. He thought about closing the book before he read one line of text, where it was clear where the author of this book was referring to.
It was a book called The Doors of Hogwarts, but as he read the title, he realized that he had not encountered such a book before. Perhaps he had not read it carefully. The title was easy to remember, so he put the book on the table and picked up another.
In such a quiet environment, he had to sit and search for almost an hour.
At the end of which he was clearly disappointed, although he had already thought that he probably would not find anything, but it was still necessary to try. Taking a deep breath he stood up and gathered the books, pausing for a moment to remember the name of that book. Putting everything back in its place, he began shuttling back and forth between the bookshelves. All sorts of book titles gradually filled his mind.
The narrative has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
After another half hour, he was finally standing in the center of the hall, looking out into the closed area.
As it turned out he really remembered, he had never encountered this kind of book in this part of the library. And he had never gotten into the restricted area, though he had thought about it, but still by common sense he didn't want to touch a book that had a mind or anything else.
His gaze turned and fell on the window, it was soon dinner time so with thoughts of getting something to eat he turned and walked out the door.
............................................
Walking downstairs, where there were already a lot of people. He found his seat at the Ravenclaw table, enjoying his meal his thoughts gradually drifted away. Because of his distance from the others, there was no one to stop him.
A thought crossed his mind that hadn't visited often before.
Maybe try once, go see if it was possible to find this book in the forbidden zone. Given what he knows of the named ones, it's also more likely the book belongs to the type where there's just some information and not magic. Chances are he can talk Professor Flitwick into it.
He can't know for sure if there's such a book, but it's still worth a try.
Although he doesn't need any trouble, he still wants to find out the answer to this mystery. Maybe it's just his illusion that he's not as talented as the main characters.
While he was eating, suddenly a girl sits down next to him. From the action of the other side, Edward's gaze subconsciously looked at her.
It was Luna, blond hair and a beautiful face. After he came to his senses, he continued his dinner.
The other side didn't seem to want to talk either.
Thus passed tonight's dinner, on the way to the dormitory. The stairs caught his attention again.
………………………………………
At noon the next day, as he walked out of Professor McGonagall's classroom, Edward rubbed his temples. His head always hurt during her classes, as she used complex words and concepts that were difficult to understand.
To him, it seemed very similar to what his math teacher had done in the past.
As he walked forward, three people came into view. They were always seen together, talking and giggling. They were the main characters, and Edward didn't particularly want to cross paths with them. He had to walk around them to avoid their gazes.
But then something caught his ear. He had completely forgotten about the Three Wizards Tournament. As he made his way downstairs, he began to remember the contents of that part: the Cup, conspiracy, and finally the rebirth of the Dark Lord.
It seemed that his peaceful days were coming to an end, not counting his second year.
