This is the end of volume 6. I see that some people liked the transfer to a new school, while others still think it was a huge mistake. There’s no right or wrong there, both have their ups and downs.
I actually came up with plot outlines for both of these routes before finally deciding on the transfer. It was a difficult decision because it involved a huge paradigm shift, but I concluded it’ll allow me to take the story in a more interesting direction.
The main argument for staying in StormBlitz was that Yuel and Lars could serve as situational subs when the team needed stronger offense. In fact, Julia became exactly that.
Logically, this makes sense. However, Howard would not let that happen. He is smart enough to understand the advantages of having such flexibility, but there’s no way he’ll give up his position for it, especially not to Yuel.

Yuel understood, so he knew there’s no chance he’ll get to play on the first string unless something drastic happens. That’s why the transfer looked so appealing to him.
Of course, things aren’t exactly going smoothly in the new club either. But, the situation definitely improved. In Stratus, Yuel and Lars are already guaranteed to play on the first-string. All that’s left is to reclaim their main roles, then they’ll be ready to take the regionals by storm!
Volume 7 will focus more on getting to know the members of Stratus and their abilities. Especially, the freshman that’ll be joining the club this year. Yuel will find himself in some though spots thanks to his lacking communication skills, but these situations will prompt him to improve in that area! Hopefully.
I’d like to thank everybody for sticking with the story for so many volumes. As you can tell, there’s still a long road ahead. I know the story’s pacing might seem slow at times, but I hope the eventual payoff for all the buildup will make up for it.
There won’t be any changes in the chapter release schedule for the time being. Hopefully, I’ll be able to start posting two chapters a week by the time we get to volume 8.
