The sun rose over the horizon, casting light on the training grounds. Kajin sat in the sparring arena, his eyes closed and head bowed. The wind brushed against his face and hair, making them flow. He wore a tight-fitting brown T-shirt with protective armor pieces, baggy leather pants reinforced at the knees, and dark shoes. As he waited for Ruya’s arrival, a hand suddenly grabbed his shoulder.
Kajin sighed. "Will you always keep an eye on me, Anastasia?" he asked, his tone irritated.
A soft laugh came from behind him. "What do you think, brother? I just can’t help it," Anastasia teased. She brushed her pale fingers over his shoulder and back. "I want to see my brother’s first steps on his journey."
Kajin clenched his teeth in anger, stood up, and turned to glare at her. "You disgust me," he snapped, his voice sharp.
Anastasia laughed and smirked. "Thanks for the compliment, honey ♡!" she said playfully.
Kajin sighed in frustration, tired of her teasing. Just then, footsteps echoed across the grounds, and Kajin’s expression softened into a smile. Ruya had arrived. Walking toward the arena, Ruya held a bow in his left hand with a quiver full of arrows on his back. A small smile appeared on his face as well.
Anastasia giggled at the sight and stepped off the arena, watching from the sidelines. Ruya entered the arena, his gaze fixed on Kajin, who returned the look with equal intensity. Both got into position.
"Let’s see how good you actually are, elf," Kajin said, his tone serious yet confident.
Ruya chuckled. "Hmph! Same here, hybrid," he replied.

Kajin smirked, his fist igniting with white flames. Anastasia’s eyes lit up with surprise and excitement. "White flames? He’s using light magic in a spar... Kajin isn’t taking Ruya lightly. Perfect," she thought.
Ruya drew an arrow and loaded it onto his bow, a green aura surrounding both him and the weapon. Kajin grinned. "He’s strong, at least High Arrow level," he thought, excitement building.
Anastasia raised her arm. "Ready!" she called out. As her hand dropped, she shouted, "Fight!"
Both fighters moved at immense speed, meeting at the center of the arena. Kajin launched a flaming punch, but Ruya blocked it with his bow, pushing Kajin back to create space. Ruya began circling around him, firing arrows from different directions, each surrounded by a blue aura.
Kajin’s eyes widened as he dodged and blocked. "Smart bastard... enchanting his arrows with water magic to counter my flames," he muttered, smirking. Focusing, Kajin tracked Ruya’s movements and suddenly disappeared, reappearing in front of him.
Caught off guard, Ruya tried to defend, but Kajin’s leg, surrounded by white flames, struck his chest. Ruya was knocked back, pain evident in his posture. Despite this, he giggled, spat blood, and straightened up. Extending his hand toward Kajin, he gestured for him to come closer.
Kajin, confused but intrigued, rushed at him again. "What is he planning?" he wondered. He swung his flaming fist, but as it connected, Ruya’s body turned green and vanished into thin air.
Kajin’s eyes darted around in confusion. Suddenly, an icy arrow appeared near him. Instinctively, he blocked it with his forearm, but the arrow pierced through and exploded, encasing his arm in ice. Gritting his teeth, Kajin scanned his surroundings.
Ruya appeared behind him, striking Kajin’s back with his bow and sending him flying. Landing on his feet, Kajin smirked. "You’re amazing, Ruya... but this is just the beginning!"
White flames surrounded Kajin, melting the ice on his forearm. His eyes turned red, and Anastasia’s excitement grew. "There it is... dark magic," she muttered.
Kajin launched at Ruya, throwing fiery punches that exploded on contact. Ruya, sighing heavily, blocked and dodged, trying to create space to fire his arrows again.
