Prologue: The Plan
After coming home from school the boy calmly proceed to the kitchen to sit his backpack down on an empty chair by the countertop, grabbing up the note left there in the process. He tossed it into the trash not bothering to read it, he already knew what it said anyway. He could just imagine since they all practically read the same thing:
Dear son,
Mommy is going to be busy making 'green' . Remember to eat by yourself since I won't be back until morning.
Hugs and Kisses,
Mommy
It's not like he hated his mother, on contrary, he loved her more than anything but his life was shit and so was hers. They had bills coming out of their ass and no 'green', or money, to speak of even though his mother worked herself sick...literally leaving them with yet another unpaid bill and the cost of mothers' medication.
He pulled a dirty knife out of the sink and began washing it with great care. He knew his plan would be a successes, how could it not since there'd be no one here to stop him? He didn't have any friends that would bang on the door and demand access to his mothers' residence effectively stopping his plan, as a matter of fact he didn't have any friends at all. He wasn't bullied as far as he knew... he was just...timid and shy.
Resigning himself to his fate he dried the knife and headed towards his room that just so happened to have a private bathroom in it. Once inside he lingered in the room, its' walls were painted an ugly orange color. Two mattresses lay on an old yellow rug with evident shit stains (he hoped it was from a dog or some kind of animal as opposed to a human) that he and his mother had stolen from the non-profit store; Donations' Will. As for the rest of his room... there were three boxes with clothes in them, one for shirts, one for pants, one for his...not panties (he did not share his mothers' panties panties! He didn't!!!).
Turning the handle on the door he slowly opened it and entered the bathroom. He was tempted to take a piss as he hadn't gone since he left for school but he steeled himself, after all he wouldn't really need to piss when his plan was completed.
He didn't hesitate when he hopped in the tub fully clothed, (he couldn't leave a mess behind for his mother to clean up!) and without prolonging the plan anymore than needed he slit his wrist, grinding his teeth together so he wouldn't cry out and alert anyone to his plan (even though he knew no one was there).
Blood spilt over his wrist and began dripping down his arms into the tub. Ever so slowly as he watched and waited he could feel himself going numb, with the last bit of willpower he could muster he prayed:
Dear God,
please take care my mom as best you can. I mean,
I don't know if I really believe in a God or not
but if you are there please, please make her forget about me.
Make her happy or something.

With that he smiled, as his plan worked just as how he knew it would and now...now he was free.
...However, that freedom, just like his human life, would soon come to a close.

God POV:
God was peeping, uh, watching the ladies, uh, men, uh, humans (God was totally not a peeping tom. Nope. No. Nah. No Way... Maybe.) and spied a boy who was sitting fully clothed in a bath tub. Something about this seemed odd to God so God watched the boy curiously and something unforeseen happened...the boy died. Not satisfied with the display God probed the boys' soul to learn how he died and numerous thoughts came to the surface, the loudest among them was: Free, to which God was clueless about. The next thought made more since to God though, it was: Suicide, along with a few others: Lonely, Love, Sad.
God did not approve of this boy or the way his life had been extinguished. God then heard a prayer on the winds of time and space, it was lagging a bit and barely more than a whisper in Gods' ear but God being 'God' knew whose' prayer this was: it belonged to the boy who had committed suicide.
God almost decided against hearing it but this was part of a Gods' responsibility so God listened. After listening God was at a loss, the boy didn't believe in God...
God came to a decision, the boy would receive Gods' forgiveness for taking his own life but only because God had neglected the child. (What human doesn't believe in God?)God feels pity, God will reincarnate this child (maybe into a lady with curves in all the right... God is not a pervert!) into a different realm, one with many different Gods so the child will not be neglected again.
As for the wish the child made while in prayer God shall do it as penance for Gods' neglect. The childs' mother will not remember having a son and shall have great luck from now until the end of her days.
God then proceeded to rip the soul from the body of the boy and begin the process of sending it to the white room, which would allow for a certain amount of control when the reincarnating really began (it was the least God could do since the boy had practically died due to Gods' neglect and God intended to right those wrongs and fix the poor boys' soul, there must be something wrong it to not believe in God).
God nearly forgot, when sending a soul or person to another realm they receive a Blessing from one or more Gods and sometimes even a few gifts to help them along in their new life. God nodded, setting up a 'computer' in the white room , something the boy should be familiar with, to help move along the process of reincarnating, God also hoped having it would be of some comfort to the boy as God knew reincarnating into another realm could scare even the bravest of souls.
Oh, God nearly forgot again, where should the boys' soul be sent, and into which realm (there are many), although by peeping, uh, looking (God does not peep! Nope, nope, nope!!!) into the souls' memories and seeing what the boy liked and hated God could get a picture of where the best place to drop the boys' reincarnated soul would be.
God found the perfect world for the boy. God even took the time to learn the boy was timid and wouldn't approach people himself so God found a way to fix this.
God was clever. God would send the boy to...
A World where Magic and Monsters exist... Of course there'd be all kind of Magic Users, God thought, and naturally they would need a pet...uh, Familiar stay by their side. God giggled thinking about the child being ordered to: sit, stay, roll over. It was perfect, this way the boy would never be alone.
God put the boys' soul in white room and waited for it to finish all the while still giggling outside.
