The wind is softly blowing across the large green fields stretching out in front of me while the sun is softly warming my skin. I look out over the vast fields edged by a large forest when I hear my sister calling my name.
"Zeph? Zeph are you there?"
I kept looking over the fields. Breathing deeply in and out. Letting my lungs get their fill of the fresh air. The calming sounds of rustling leaves and a small stream of water coming from the mountain filled the air. It's like a calming nature video I used to watch back on Earth.
"Aria, it's been a while hasn't it," I said while having a feeling of relief flowing through my mind. This was the first time I did not feel sadness or despair. No, this time I felt calm and composed. I felt that the chance of talking to my sister in real life sometime in the future was very high. At least that's what I believe.
"I see you are feeling a lot better than when we normally meet. Did something happen?" She asked with a bit of cheeryness in her voice.
When I looked at her standing next to me she grabbed my hand and held it tight. I could see that she was feeling a lot better as well. Might be that it is an effect of my own mental stability that made this place look so calm.
"Yeah, I met someone who gave me hope that I might one day be able to give you your body back," I said while looking back at the vast fields in front of us.
I still don't know what this world is. Is it just a dream or is it a mental space where the soul resides? Though I have no clue what or where this is, I am not complaining. I got the chance to talk to my sister here. Throughout the years the image of my sister in this world has grown with her appearance in real life. So my guess is that even though she might be in the back seat in her own body's head, she is still aging normally.
"That is great news Zeph." She said with a big smile on her face. "I would love to walk alongside you through the world out there." She looked down and her tone of voice changed to a more sad one.
"I long for the day I can finally see all that there is in the world. But also, I wish I could release you from the burden of living my life for me." Aria turned towards me and as soon as I turned towards her, she put her face on my chest. She started to cry softly while I embraced her and held her close.
"Don't worry sis, I will fix this. I know what to do for now, and I just need to find a way to get there. You know I will do everything in my power to get you back. You know that right."
A muffled voice came from my chest. "Yeah, I know."
Suddenly the world started to change around us. A breeze became gusts, the sun became darker and everything around us started to disappear.
The story has been taken without consent; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.
"Seems like I'm waking up sis. Stay strong for me ok? We will see each other again soon."
I let go of my sister and looked her in the eyes full of confidence.
She smiled. "Talk soon big brother"
Everything went dark.

As I opened my eyes I saw the ceiling of Kellan's Guest room where Zeph and I had been sleeping ever since we came here. Looking around, there wasn't anyone here but Zeph who was still sleeping.
Might as well go for a walk. Though my head is hurting like hell.
I touched the back of my head and felt a sting go through it.
Well sis, be glad you don't feel anything in there.
As I walked out of the front door of Kellan's house I was greeted by a warm afternoon sun. I could feel it burning on my skin when I heard Lucian's voice coming from around the corner.
"When do you think they will wake up? I mean Zeph lost almost all his energy and Zephyria hit the spire pretty hard. I did some healing but it seems she is not waking up."
Lucian sounded worried and I didn't want to eavesdrop on whoever he was talking to. I walked around the corner and saw Lucian and Kellan standing there clearing debris.
"Hey guys, sorry for sleeping in so late," I said jokingly.
Lucian looked up with a massive smile on his face as if he thought I had just risen from the dead.
"Zephyria!" he almost shouted as he came running my way. "How are you feeling? Are you ok? Does it hurt anywhere?"
"Slow down, I'm alright. I just feel my head hurting still. Must have been some impact to knock me out right away."
Kellan started chuckling.
"Well, I guess your head did leave a dent in the spire."
"Ha- Ha-, very funny Kellan. Do you know how much this hurts?" I said with a smile.
When looking around I saw a lot of debris was already cleared from the road in front of the house and many people were walking around.
"Hey Kellan, how long was I out for? Seems a lot has been happening since Zeph fought Umbra."
Kellan stood up and cleared his clothes of dust and dirt.
"Well yeah, it's been 4 days since your fight. Did a lot of helping out with people that were trapped in their houses first. Later we helped recover as many bodies as we could."
The realization of what happened came back clearly as if it was just yesterday. The death and destruction all around me. The smell that still lingers in my mind. The red-colored ground of people who never made it out of their houses or who were attacked by monsters.
My body started to shake. The image of Umbra suddenly popped up in front of my eyes.
The hit I took before I was knocked out. Then 2 arms embraced me and Kellan pulled me in for a comforting hug.
"Don't worry Zephyria. You 2 are still alive and I will do everything in my power to help you out. You know that right."
This must have been the same sort of comforting feeling that I gave Aria.
It feels weird being on the receiving end of it now. But the image of Umbra slamming me into the spire just scares me for some reason.
I let my head rest against his chest and I managed to get myself back together.
"You good now?" Kellan asked worried.
"Yeah. Thanks. It feels good to have people around you that care for you, other than just yourself."
*Grrrrrrrrr*
I looked down as my stomach started growling like crazy.
"HAHAHA," Kellan laughed. "Let's get you something to eat. I hear you are starving."
As we entered the house I noticed Zeph waking up.
"Kellan? Would there be enough to fill 2 bellies?" I said cheerfully.
"Why? Did Zeph wake up as well?"
"Yeah, seems like it," Zeph said as he came down the stairs.
"Well sit down then you 2. Can't have my niece and nephew starve to death before their journey even begins right?" he laughed.
