I am in a room. It’s almost 5 by 5 meters with a bed and a toilet. Furthermore everything white. White walls, a white bed, a white toilet and guess what! A white floor. Just white.

Me? I’m sitting in a corner. My appearance, I don’t know. It’s been so long since I looked into a mirror or a reflection. I do however know that my hair is up my waist and that it’s black. Yep, no further information here. While I talk to myself I faintly start to hear some voices.

“Is this the place” [Unknown voice]

“yes this is where patient 41 is” [ Nurse]

“Are you really sure?”[unknown voice]

“Yes, I am really sure” [Nurse]

The Unknown voice sounds a bit scared and the nurse sounds annoyed. I wonder why the Unknown voice sounds scared.

Ai, I forgot you’re probably thinking to yourself. A nurse? Is she in a hospital, does she have some dangerous incurable disease? Well if you were thinking that than you would be right and wrong. You see I’m in a “hospital” or rather a mental constitution. Surprised? I would be. By the way have I already introduced myself? I think not. Anyway my name is….

Before I can finish the sentence in my head the Unknown voice interrupts me.

“Her given name is Samantha right?”[ Unknown Voice]

Damn he says my name while I was introducing myself. Oi unknown voice that’s rude you know!

Before I can complain more the nurse whispers, yet I can still hear it.

“That depends on who’s in charge”

You are probably thinking something along these lines right? “What does she mean in charge, she is the only person in the room” well in physical sense that is true butttt in mental sense you are wrong. You see I’m here because I have , wait for it, a personality disorder. And no not just an alternate personality but multiple personalities. And right know I am in control, the first, the origin, the real one. Most personalities protect me from harm or try to help me, but there are 2 personalities that are a little bit too protective. They are what you call psycho’s, but yeah it is what it is right?

“Who do you think is in charge now?” [Unknown voice]

That’s rude!! Why don’t you ask me yourself. I sigh, a reason why I don’t scream at the voices is because I cannot talk. Don’t get me wrong, my vocals work perfectly fine, but it has to do with my “Mental disorder”. All the other personalities can talk but I cannot. Why? Have no friggin clue. Anyway I can contact the other personalities however right now, I’ve shut them out because I want silence. Shall I tell you what kind of ….

Again before I can finish my sentence (in my head) the door opens and what I see are two figures.

One is a female. Pretty face, green eyes, slim figure and hair that’s turned into a ponytail that has the colour brown. She also has a nurse uniform on and guess what? It is white.

Next to her is a male, he looks to be in his late fifties with a serious face, brown eyes and a BLACK suit. You have no idea how happy I am to see a different colour than white. The male seems to notice this, because his lips curve a bit upwards.

“Are you Samantha?” The man asks unsure.

I just look at him and nod silently. At least he asks who I am. I wonder what he wants. I’ve never received any visitors before, what should I do? I start to panic a bit, but the nurse quickly reassures me when she sees it.

“Don’t worry Samantha, you don’t have to do anything” she says quietly with a gentle voice.

I begin to calm down. Did I mention before that I panic fast? No? well I do. Fortunately my “Friends” don’t and help me in these kinds of situations, but I casted them away for a few minutes.

The male looks at me and seems to be formulating his words. He seems uneasy, but I can’t figure out why. Then he seems to have found the right words and steps forward and asks me while looking in my eyes.
