Interlude Cava Alverez Whoop Ass_Cannapocalypse: Book 1 the re-integration

January 2nd, 2050, Saul Palo, Brazil

After I exited the portal, I was in an old school gymnasium complete with old timey boxing ring and posters lining the walls from 1926 to 1969 different fights, different fighters, I saw at the very back corner in what looked like an office there was a cot that was calling my name. I sat on the old decrepit cot and sparked up a joint as I lay down. After smoking the whole thing, I was ready to absorb this new Aether circulating technique. I opened my UI, found the inventory area, opened it up, found the crystal labeled Elemental Purity Circulation Technique. What exactly was I supposed to do with this thing? I shook it, I put it up to my forehead, I tried voice commands, nothing…. Then I thought about circulating some pure Aether from my tiny pool to, maybe, power it up? I started circulating my Aether from my pool into my right hand, into my forefinger and touched the crystal, and just like that I was in the same state I was with the spell scrolls, instantaneous information imprinted into my brain. I just knew how to better summon certain elements to accentuate my Magick spells and other Aether manipulation techniques. I had an insight into the nature of those elements and how they are better used to affect the outcome of my use of them in practice. After the informational download I decided to crash…………..

6:00am: “GOOOOOOOD MORNIIIIIIIING SUNSHINE!!!!!”I heard, intentionally loud and abrasive. “If you are here for training, GET UP!!” a man who must have been Grandmaster Gracie screamed about an inch from my face as he was banging an old tin water bucket. “He said, ARE YOU HERE TO TRAIN OR DID YOU BREAK IN HERE TO FIND A PLACE TO SLEEP? BECAUSE IF IT IS THE LATTER YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE THE WORST MORNING OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!” I shot out of the cot and knelt before him and said “Grandmaster, I am here at the guidance of Catalania Queros from Manchu Pichu, she directed me to this gym, to train with one of the greatest martial arts practitioners the universe has to offer.” I replied, standing up.

The man before me looked me over as though he was scanning me or sizing me up.

“Cava Alverez, within you there are both the blood of the Pleiadeans as well as the Anunnaki, a combination of two of the oldest bloodlines in the galaxy.

With that comes an immense amount of potential locked in your genetics, screaming for a way out. When it does the world will change for you in ways that will be difficult for you to believe at first. Dr. Alverez, if I told you that you had the potential to walk up that wall, then onto the ceiling, walk across the ceiling and jump down on top of an adversary who meant to do you harm. All so quickly the normal human eye wouldn’t even register the movement. Would you have believed me a month ago?”

“Of course not! But now, after traveling here through a teleport array from a magickal archive I discovered in Manchu Pichu, and meeting a spirit come back to life who taught me MAGICK, then meeting a Grandmaster…. I’m pretty much ready to believe anything is possible.” I said with a pained smile and a brief chuckle.

“Well then I suggest you acknowledge any attribute points you have available so we can get started with your training.” Grandmaster Gracie suggested.

“Dr. Alverez now that we have finished that, let’s get down to business. I am going to impart as much information, technique, wisdom, and work ethic as I am able in the time we have together. I expect you to make the most of it, learn all you can, and then leave this place with the ability to help defend this planet from those shitbag lizards!!”

The next few days followed the same pattern, Grandmaster Gracie would bend me into a pretzel then beat me into the ground, all the while explaining exactly what he was doing, and why I was powerless to stop him. After the royal face stomping, he would then explain to me where I went wrong in my defense, how to improve my position depending on the situation, using my speed and small size to my advantage. I quickly understood why he was called a Grandmaster, he moved with precision at all times, no motion wasted. He knew where his body was going at all times, he knew where you were going to move before you did, training with a person of his caliber is nothing short of amazing. After one week of training, meditating, eating, sleeping, repeat. Grandmaster Gracie showed up with a young woman, she looked to be about 17 or 18 years old.

“Cava, this is my great, great, granddaughter. She was a Brazilian Olympic champion before the reset.” Grandmaster Gracie explained.

“YAY! A new person to beat me up and tell me it’s for my own good!” I said sarcastically.

“NO! You are both here because you are both in need of advanced training and you both have absolutely no real-world combat experience. The only way to attain that is to go out and practice what you’ve learned in training. You can also spar with someone close to your level and this will help you in ways you don’t even understand yet, you will both develop at a greater pace and training will become more beneficial for you both.”

And of course, he was right. Sparring with Silvia was very beneficial to us both, she was amazing. She didn’t just wrap me up then smash me, she went through what she was doing, teaching me along the way. As I picked up small things, bigger things became clearer. Leverage, body placement, endurance, and oddly enough, will, were the weapons of the ring, and Silvia was doing a great job showing me just how to manipulate the Aether and my opponent for maximum results. I picked up a few offensive Aether manipulation techniques, first Grandmaster Gracie taught us Air smash, Earth Shaper, and Aether Fist. Air smash allows me at the low level to basically create a solid cushion of air around the target and manipulate the movement of the object inside. For instance, one could pick up an object from the ground and deposit it 200 feet in the air then release the item, allowing gravity to assist. Also, could be used in close combat as an extra fist, or elbow. I am going to have to experiment with this technique and unlock more of its potential.

Earth Shaper allows me at this low level to reach out from the ground elements and liquify the ground beneath your opponent’s feet and then render it solid again at will. Finally, Aether Fist allows you to cover a portion of your body with charged Aether ( fist, foot, knee, elbow, head) and adds a measure of additional power to unarmed mele combat. As this technique matures with its user elemental aspects may be added for an additional effect. Silvia and I took up as much time as possible sparing, utilizing the newfound techniques, and I also practiced the spells I learned in Peru. I was advancing at a rapid pace, picking up a number of attribute points, grinding with Silvia and still mostly getting beaten up. I spent a good chunk of my time in the gym meditating and using the new Aether circulating technique, I experimented with the different elements the best I could in the limited environment. Fire as always was the easiest for me to gather and use to my advantage followed by Terra and Air, then Wood then lastly Water.

January 6th, 2050, Saul Palo, Brazil

5:30am: This new world was just getting weirder by the day, after cleaning myself up after an unusually messy meditation session I went to go and eat with Grandmaster Gracie.

“Good morning, Grandmaster Gracie, may I join you for breakfast?” I asked humbly. “Please Cava, that would be great. Have you had an opportunity to look over your UI this morning? Gracie asked. “I sort of glanced at it last night, then I got side tracked looking at something else. Why?” I shrugged. “Please do take just a moment to look things over. At least check your notifications and acknowledge them so we can see where you are.” Master Gracie said.

I noticed that I had gained 10 levels in unarmed combat, and I was progressing with my advanced Aether circulation. “I knew I was improving but 10 levels. I don’t know about that.” I mentioned. “You have only been here for about four Terran days, those days here equal about 96 days of constant training with both a Master (LEVEL 500+) (Silvia), and a Grandmaster (LEVEL 1000), in a place of power and time dilation. And you are surprised at your progress? Dr. Cava Alverez, do you think that little of yourself? Not to mention you have the attribute points of a human at least at level 8, this has been accomplished through your hard work, perseverance, and iron will. Do not sell yourself short, what you have accomplished thus far is nothing short of amazing. Be proud of the woman you are becoming.

After being here with you and observing the manner in which you learned everything we had to offer, both Silvia and I are most impressed with both your work ethic as well as your ability to take instruction. You truly are a scholar of the highest magnitude. We are both proud to say we contributed to your journey, if even in a small way. If you ever need a place to rest and continue training, you are always welcome here in my gym.” Grandmaster Gracie said with pride.

“Master, I have been looking over the different archives and training halls available to me and I’m thinking I would like to go to study a bit in Rome or Egypt. Where would you suggest I start?” I asked with interest.

“I would suggest you start in Rome with Leonardo, learning about the history of the universe and the place humans have made for themselves in the different parts of the galaxy would be most beneficial. Take as much time as you have to learn everything you can about the intergalactic council of the collective, those are the entities who decide what happens to each and every planet included in the collective. We are all beholden to those individuals in one way or another. When you’re finished with my good friend Leo, make your way to meet Grandmaster Thoth in the Sphinx archive. Best to remember, Grandmaster Thoth is NOT a God, he is a LEVEL 2000+ Mystic. He does in fact possess godlike powers, but he is very much a mortal, same as you, though he does have one of the most brilliant minds in the known universe. Master Thoth has been here on Terra for Millenia, his knowledge of both Terra and the ancient races knows no equal. Once you’ve learned all you can from Grandmaster Thoth, travel to Great Britan, Stonehenge, to be precise, Merlin the Wise can be found there. Seek him out, he has been more helpful to humanity than almost any other single person in the entire universe.” Master Gracie said. He went on to say, “But please before you go on your quest for knowledge, I must ask a rather large favor from you. Please go to the Armory at Bogota in Columbia, I implore you to please secure the contents, and keep those artifacts out of the hands of our enemies.” “Our, enemies?” I asked. “Do you mean Kyle? From back in Peru?” “Yes, Cava, Kyle, and the entities he represents. The Draco, the Drow or Dark Elves, the Al’ Est or High Elves, and the Anunnaki have all shared in the subjugation of your people. They would all benefit if your people were denied access, and they could gain control of the site through slave proxies. Which is who they are sending to Bogotá as we speak. Luckily for us you have access to the ancient galactic teleport network, so I can sneak you in the back and you can claim the site for humanity, then close access to the other dark races. You can then help yourself to anything you find inside that may aid you in your journey.” Master Gracie instructed. “Well then, I guess this is goodbye. Can I send you students I find out there in my travels?” I asked. “Of course, but I think I will be quite busy in the coming weeks.” I then walked through the same inter-galactic teleport array, on my way to Rome. Why not Bogota?

June 27th, 2028, Rome, Italy

(DAY ONE OF TRIBULATION)

6:00am: I step through the portal to Rome. Upon arrival I see that I am in an old and enormous warehouse / library. There are huge bookshelves with giant books that are as large as I am tall, there were also a number of un-finished mechanical looking artifacts, on almost every surface, everywhere. The entire space was also filled with a very familiar smelling hazy smoke, making me instantly more comfortable. “Dr. Cava, Alverez, it truly is a treat!! I have been awaiting your arrival, I have seen you in my visions for months now. I am beyond excited to sit down and discuss the universe and its secrets with you. Are Derrik, Julie, and Hillary with you yet? Oh, it doesn’t look like it, well I guess that is ok too.” I hear from everywhere at once. “Yes, Master Leonardo, uhm, where are you?” I asked. “Oh, yes my dear come forward to the front of the archive, I am seated at my desk.”

I walked through row after row of giant books on enormous bookshelves. I couldn’t understand how someone could put a 2 ton book up on a shelf that was 10 meters high. “Dr. Alverez, welcome to my archive. I am Master, Leonardo Davinci. Now that we have been properly introduced, go directly back to the teleport array, step through the portal to the Armory in Bogotá! The Drow have sent one of their Sword masters to the armory, they have secured the global portal at Hayu Maca so he should be there soon. All you must do is go to the Armory, place your hand on the intake pad at the teleport array and the entrance, then claim the armory and deny access to anyone other than yourself. That will close the armory to anyone but you, unless they have a key, which have all most certainly been lost to the ages. Then you can grab some choice gear and come back here, and we can begin our discussion, and you can begin your training.” Leonardo explained.

“Well, that sounds easy enough. I guess I’ll see you in a few.” I said to Leonardo.

“Oh, and Dr. Alverez? Could you please claim this archive as well? Just to be safe, it would be quite helpful to know we will not be interrupted by some random adventurer looking for knowledge he is not ready to hear.” Leonardo requested.

“Of course, Master Leonardo.” I replied. I did as he requested and claimed this archive and stepped through the portal headed for Bogotá.

Woosh… I step through the portal and as my eyes adjust to the bright light, I am standing in what looks to me like a bank vault, I am surrounded by computer screens attached to the top of empty boxes sitting on each wall of the room and there is a giant pile of gold bars the size of a small car lining the middle of the room like a metallic wall lined up just perfectly and beautifully. All of the walls and fixtures in the room were made of either gold or platinum, except for the floor which seemed to be made of some sort of wood, I couldn’t believe my eyes.

All of a sudden, a gold ball of light about 15cm in circumference flew out of the wall and stopped about 30 cm from my face. Before it could do anything to me, I put my hand on the interface pad on the teleport array and claimed the teleport. The facility could only be accessed by someone with a key to the outside door, and those had all been lost to time, or that’s what Master Leonardo said. “Hello Dr. Alverez, are you having a good morning? Welcome to Pleiadean Armory Prime. You have claimed the teleport array and now have sole access, you also have the ability to allow others to access the array. Mistress Alverez, would you like me to scan you so that I may outfit you for maximum survivability?” The light ball asked.

“Right, Leonardo said something about getting some gear. What do I call you? Do you have a name?” I asked the ball of light.

“You may call me Prime, and thank you for asking, Mistress Alverez.”

“And you can call me Cava, please.” I finished. “Please initiate scan, Prime.” “Scan initiated…... Scanning…… Scan Complete. It would appear that you have thus far lived the life of a scholar. Am I to assume that you are going to be walking the path of the battle mage or elemental monk?” Prime asked. “I have started my training with Master Gracie, in the art of unarmed combat. I have also studied with Catalania Queros at Machu Pichu. I have been practicing my spells and my martial arts forms and I am becoming much more proficient at circulating the Aether through me to expand my Aether pool.” I volunteered. “Excellent! Dr. Alverez, I have selected a number of things for you based on your skills and attributes as well a number of other factors. First of all, I selected you an Amplification Stave, when used to cast a spell, the spell will be amplified 10x the current level of the spell. I also have six rings, each is for a different element, the ones that will suit you best are the fire ring (Blaze), the Earth ring (Sediment), the Lightning ring (Thunder), and the Druids ring (Green Life). If I, were you, I would save the Dark ring (Abyss) and the Gravity ring (Singularity) for people who may come into your life soon. These rings will increase your proficiency in the corresponding element by up to 50 percent with continual use as they will grow as you grow. At this point you should get about a 15 percent increase in proficiency, which is sizable, and you will notice the results. I have also included a set of nanotech boot/pants, a circlet of eternal knowledge, and a set of Elemental Mages robes. Your boot/pants go on like a belt, once you click the clasp of the belt together the nanobots cover your legs and feet with a flexible nanotech carbon fiber pants and boots with flexible rubber soles, all self-cleaning.

The Circlet of Eternal Knowledge will give you a boost of up to 40 percent in your Wisdom attribute, at this point I think the bump is around 8 percent which at your current level is more than acceptable, as the level grows it will become more and more helpful as the power of your spells grow. The mage robes will give you an immediate boost of 15 percent in your Intelligence attribute. They are also quite comfortable and are optimal for a jujitsu practitioner. Please take the time to put on your new gear while I tell you about the other goodies I am packing into your spatial rings. (I started undressing and replacing my old clothes for the new gear.)

The green ring will have your extra rings and your amplification wand, along with anything else you want to carry with you on your journey, such as the Aether crystals I have packed for you, 125 large crystals to use as you will. I also packed you a few emergency bandages, they are necessary if you are injured and without a healer, they will fix almost any wound, provided you get to it in time. I packed 236 grams of premium Cannabis, 32 grams of platinum grade Ginseng, and an Aether bike. You will find the Aether Bike in the blue ring; it is fueled up and ready for action. To save time, the Aether crystals are for use when you are low on Aether due to use of magick. The crystals can be used to replenish your Aether pool, they can be used to fill up your Aether bike with fuel, and they can be traded for Inter-galactic Credits (IGC’s).”

As soon as Prime finished and the last word went silent, we both heard the front door to the armory start to creak open. Cava instantly dove behind the large gold wall in the middle of the room. “Prime how is this possible?” I asked franticly. “He must have the key, Cava. We thought them to be lost to the ages. Apparently, the Drow have been preparing for the tribulation for a long time now.” Prime added. “What do I do?” I asked again. “What you have been training to do Dr. Alverez. Defend this planet from the dark races, of which the Drow are one of the worst, and most vile. They know no empathy for their victims, they have no mercy for anyone, regardless of their race. You must kill him Dr. Alverez. For if you do not, he will surely kill you, or worse, take you captive and make you a slave in the Underdark, and claim this facility for his Mistress.”

Prime had convinced me I was ready to take on this challenge. Remembering my gaming days, I noticed he was wearing leather boots with no rubber sole, I cast MINOR LIGHTNING into the golden wall he was now touching, the azure lightning coursed out of my hands then arched between the solid gold and poor recipient amplifying the voltage and frying him to a blackened crisp, his hair caught on fire, his eyes melted, and the tips of his fingers blew off. He was wearing a very conductive set of over armor, combined with the conductive nature of the metal he was melting on, certainly contributed to his death. He was clearly not expecting to come up against a human with any skills whatsoever. The efficacy of my new lightning ring called Thunder was way more than a 15% bump in power output. I certainly did not mean for him to become this melted pile of armor and goop.

I instantly vomited at the sight and smell of this Drow carcass melted onto the floor of the armory, I vomited and vomited again. I did my best to shove the Drow-b-q out the Front Armory door, but the juices were still everywhere. It was truly disgusting; all I could do was leave his body outside for the coyotes and go back inside to check my notifications.
