Annika Meets Elizaveta

Elizaveta Romanoff / Annika Ciakar

January 4th, 2050, St. Petersburg, Russia

A bright light started shining from a lower level and Elizaveta went to investigate, she walked slowly down the staircase to find the teleportation device lit up with a woman Elizaveta had been dreaming of walking through. The woman named Annika, the shining knight from her dreams, also a member of the Draco royal family. Elizaveta had a decision to make here and now, let Annika have an opportunity explain herself or, kill her immediately to prevent her from growing in power and conquering Terra on behalf of the Draco Empire. Decisions, decisions…..

Walking through the teleportation device Annika was not sure what she would find on the other side, she certainly was not expecting a Soynya to be pointing directly into her face. Then she recognized the woman holding the shaft of the iconic Russian weapon. “Elizaveta! I have been dreaming about you for the last two weeks!! Please put the Soynya down, I am not here to hurt you or anyone else.” Annika said with tears in her eyes. “I, I have been dreaming about you as well. You are a member of the Draco royal family. What are you doing here? How did you gain access to this network? I suggest you start answering, quickly.” Elizaveta barked. “I am the daughter of the legendary Rasputin, the right hand and royal Visar to Lord Vladimir. It was him who sent me away, he sent me away with a large fortune in Aether crystals, I have specialized gear and weapons, I am running from the Draco empire, and I was directed here by Belda the Hun, he and I trained together for a little over two months. In that time, I was able to progress my Swordsmanship to another level. Belda told me the trainer here would be able to help me progress as he could teach me no more.” Annika said. “Well, if Belda the Hun sent you to me girl, then I suppose I should at least give you a look. Could you please share your attributes with me?” Ilya Muromets asked. “I was awarded 12 points in wisdom, 16 points in intelligence, 4 points in both strength and constitution, three points each in dexterity and agility, then 2 points each perception and luck during my training sessions with Belda. I also managed to advance to level 50 at the long sword and crushed 10 levels in shield as well.” Annika replied.

“Elizaveta may not trust you, but you are welcome in my training hall. Know that if you are here with ill intensions, I will not hesitate to expel you from this space and allow Elizaveta to exercise her newfound talents.” Ilya said with a smile. “Though, I’m not sure Elizaveta would want to engage with such a dangerous opponent. In fact, it would be an honor to train anyone who could best my old friend Belda. Elizaveta, please let the young lady come forward. It looks like you are going to gain a training partner. That should make this process much smoother and should also expedite the training process for both of you.”

The ladies trained, night and day, one with her long sword, and the other with her Soynya singing in the training hall, never missing an opening. The both of them suffered knicks and bruises. Luckily, they both had a strong enough constitution that most injuries healed instantaneously. Through training and perseverance both Annika and Elizaveta gained a number of new Aetheric abilities, though Elizaveta’s were certainly more elemental in nature.

Illya was having a harder and harder time besting the two of them until he could only spar with one at a time and then finally Annika came out the victor in a match between the two. “Miss Annika Ciakar! You have surpassed all of my expectations and I feel as though there is nothing more, I can teach you, miss Romanov will have to be your sparring partner from here on out.” Illya said to Annika.

Annika was also benefiting from her training with both Illya and Elizaveta, but not as much as she should be. Annika was already in a position where she would either need to study with a Grandmaster, or she would need to start engaging in real world combat in order to gain attribute points. Illya, recommended they head to Reykjavik, Iceland, and seek out Erik the Red. After training with the sword in Iceland they should then go to Stonehenge, where they would meet Merlin, who would provide Grandmaster Elemental Majik training. Merlin is, as far as is known, the human with the highest level on Terra.

The tale has been taken without authorization; if you see it on Amazon, report the incident.

“Elizaveta, are we going to travel together? I feel like we should, at least until we meet up with the people from our visions.” Annika mentioned. “I agree, I am having the weirdest dreams, and the visions I have when I am meditating all lead me to believe they are important to us somehow.” Elizaveta finished.

So, we agreed to continue on to Iceland together, after we were finished there, we would move on to England and wait there for the Rinns and hopefully Dr. Alverez would meet us there as well.

“Come now ladies, please put your hands onto the intake pad of the teleport array, please. This will allow both of you exclusive access to this array, you will both be able to allow others the use of it. Please do send me more pupils, I am sure to get lonely sooner or later.” We both did as Illya asked, and both were pricked, and a drop of blood sealed the deal and just like that we were the only entities that could access this array, outside of an actual Arcturian.

We programmed the intergalactic teleport array to send us to the training hall in Reykjavik. “Thank you, once again Illya. We will always appreciate the time you spent helping us see our full potential.” Elizaveta remarked. “Yes, many thanks for the instruction and guidance, we will send any worthy individuals we come across, here for training. You truly are an inspiration for an entire nation.” Annika added. With that said we were off through the teleport array.

June 26th, 2028, Reykjavik, Iceland

3:00pm: Annika was the first to step through the array, when she got her bearings back, she noticed she was in a giant Cannabis field, the plants must have been around 6 meters tall and just as many around. They were also glowing a bright blueish green, as she was observing her fantastical surroundings, she heard Elizaveta come through the teleport array behind her. “Wow, do you see how these plants are bioluminescent, I wonder if this is what Belda was telling me about.” Annika said to Elizaveta. “I don’t know Anni, but we are definitely going to harvest some and bring it with us on our journey.” Elizaveta finished.

“At, this point, I wouldn’t be sure you are leaving here at all, ladies. What are you doing in the middle of our sacred herb garden?” A rather large man with a red braided beard bellowed.

Annika answered. “We were sent here by Illya, he said that you could help me achieve the next level in my sword mastery. As both he and Belda the Hun were no longer any match for me in solo combat, he sent us here to you. Legends say you are a great Grandmaster of the long sword. I humbly request your assistance in mastering the tool you have so long ago mastered, I do so with the hope my newfound knowledge will assist me in defending this planet from the Evil Draco Empire. Also, do you think we could possibly buy some of this weed? It really helps with my meditation and Aether circulation.”

The large Viking responded, “No, you may not buy some of my WEED!” He went on to say, “I will however sit down and smoke some horn loads with you and get a better sense of who you are, Draco Princess.”

“I am Draco, I am not however on board with their philosophy or doctrine. I escaped the clutches of those Reptilian monsters. I did not undergo the genetic resequencing necessary to bring out that part of my genetics, I am not willing to let that part of me take over. I am willing to forego my opportunity at immortality, to live among people who are not inherently evil. I am also willing to sacrifice my life so that the people of this planet may survive and prosper.” Annika responded respectfully. “Ok, enough with the serious conversation for now. Can we smoke some of this beautiful cannabis, Erik? Or should I call you Mr. the Red?” Elizaveta said chuckling. “If this cannabis is as good as it smells, maybe we should call you Erik the green?”

“Ha, I believe we are going to get along well, ladies, well enough to become friends.” Erik laughed.

“Miss Annika, would you mind showing me where exactly you are with your progression?” Erik asked

“Pass that big yellow horn over here. Now, I am going to load some Cannabis Sativa along with some Lavander I dried myself along with a bit of dried Juniper Berry. This combination is called WARRIORS WEED, it will allow us to see a few fractions of a second faster than reality, it is one of the most valuable tools in the warriors’ tool kit. Mastering the use of this combination will yield unparalleled results. You will move faster, react quicker, and strike truer in almost every instance, provided you are mentally prepared for the change. This is why we train, we train more, then we train some more, so we are prepared for the moment we must act on our training and preserve our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Some who are in tune with the sacred herb are also known to have powerful visions of current events and even future events.”

Erik took a handful of each component and grinded them up with a mortar and pestle, loaded up the material, and lit that shit up. Passed it to Annika who took a deep toke and passed it to Elizaveta who did the same. Each of the three of them took a few moments to cough, catch their breath, and then one by one each of them took another deep puff on the yellow horn. After coughing for a bit and regaining their breath, they all three saw the same vision of 10 Draco Royal guard coming towards this cave from the sea, it looked like there might also be a Drow with them, the trio all stood up at the same time, ready for battle. “Now, are those horse fuckers with you, princess?” Erik accused.

“No, but I’m sure they are here for me.” Annika retorted. “As I said earlier, I escaped the clutches of those people, only for them to find me here, thousands of miles from Moscow. I’m not sure they know I am here but if they do, I’m sure the situation will get much more dire.”

“Annika, I will do my very best to prevent that outcome from becoming a reality.” Elizaveta said earnestly.

“Thank you, Liza I am really glad we found each other in all of this mess.”

“What should we do? I synced with the teleport array when we came through and it also covered the one entrance. They are not getting in here through either of those entrances. What do they hope to gain by coming up here in force?” Annika asked bewildered.

“Annika, I believe that you may have some kind of tracking spell on your genetics, being a member of the Draco Royal Court, you can be certain that they would want to be able to track you, should you be kidnapped or, should you become problematic, they would have no trouble finding you anywhere in the known universe. They cannot track you once you are inside of these time dilated training halls and archives, but when you travel from place to place you leave a signature that a properly trained Psionic Magick practitioner could find and follow to an approximate area. Hence, the small company of lizard men coming up the beach searching for this cave. What worries me more though, is the lone Drow Assassin that all of the Draco Royal guard members appear to be afraid of.

He looks to be more of a problem, I assume he is a bounty hunter. I wonder if he is here for Miss FSB?” Erik continued.

“ I hope you understand how long the Draco have been planning for this event to occur. If you were to be a part of their plan and have somehow subverted that, well, they figure you know too much about the inner workings of the machine and must then be dealt with summarily. What I am puzzled about is, why they would hire a Drow Assassin when they already have a small company of elite Draco Royal Guards on site? Miss Romanov? Romanov…… Miss Romanov, could you please come here and put your left index and ring fingers in this small device? It will not hurt, it will take a small blood sample, monitor your heart rate, and scan your genetic code with a mild laser.” Erik finished.

Elizaveta did as asked, and the machine started making quiet tones at first and then the low tones turned into more loud beeping then the screen on the top of the device had a few lines of script which no modern human would be able to decipher. “Well, this is most interesting!! Miss Romanov, your blood is from the first humans, the true Atlanteans.

From the Atlantean home world, not mixed with the blood of any other race known or unknown. Atlantean blood, pure from Pontus, you have within you the potential to be one of the greatest humans to walk this plane in millions of years. We need to get you to the Rinns as soon as you are ready.” Erik said hysterically.

“If we are to meet up with the Rinns, we must first do what it is we came to do, Grandmaster Red. As I said earlier, I humbly request your council and guidance along with any training you may provide, so that we can grow and defend our planet.” Annika asked.

“We must first deal with the wolf at our door. Do you not know there are certain artifacts that can help a person(Draco) disguise their true self and appear to be an Arcturian in order to gain access to these sites so they can ambush people inside. Lying in wait for years sometimes, corrupting all of the vital information contained within, destroying the essence of the trainer in the hall, and ultimately enslaving any who venture inside looking for training or knowledge.” Erik relayed.

“Are we ready to engage such a force? Do you think we have a chance to defeat this opponent, Liza?” Annika asked. “Anni, I feel very confident as we are already aware of their presence. They still don’t know where we are, and we still have the element of sort of surprise. We know how many there are, they have no idea how many people we are with at this point. We can set up a couple of traps before they get here and then use the lava beds and the sea as natural barriers to funnel them into that small bottle neck area by the entrance to the cave.” Elizaveta responded. “You are the tactician, you have the training, and I trust you. I will stay down in the bottle neck area and pick them off as they get stuck between a rock a cliff and my sword. Feel free to rain down with your SVC, you should have line of sight at least 45 seconds before I engage with my long sword, take out as many as you can, and I will mop up the rest.

We left the protection of the Training Hall cave and ventured out to set up a couple of chaos inducing traps in the form of Aethereal charged rocks placed with proximity triggers Elizaveta created via her Aetheric Charge, mainly to funnel them into the small choke point we designated earlier. Our only hope was that they would be too angry to notice we were herding them into a certain place, kind of like lambs to the slaughter. Hopefully they will be over-confident hunting two women. We put small Aether charged stones along the outcropping of rocks you are forced to walk up to get to where the cave entrance is located, forcing them up to the mouth of the cave, all of which are diversionary.

9:45pm: After setting up the diversion traps, we got into our positions and waited for the plan to come together. The company of Draco Royal Guard, who were certainly more prepared than expected, found every one of our “guiding” charges and disabled them, they realized immediately what the women were planning. So, they planned to sneak around the outcropping and get on top of the entrance to gain the high ground. As they rounded the switch back that was just above the entrance to the cave, all hell broke loose.

When the first of the Guard passed the second turn the trap was set, by the time the eighth guard passed by BOOOOOOOM the real trap was sprung and it did its job better than either of the two women could have ever expected. When they set the real trap, they took care to make sure that it would not be found until it was much too late. After finding the decoy traps the guard was certainly not paying as close attention as they should have, as a result only two of them survived, and of course the Bounty hunter was unscathed.

“Annika Ciakar! Come with me voluntarily, and kill that stupid bitch you are traveling with, and I will not harm you. If you wait longer than three minutes, I will come in there kill her myself, and drag you back to Lord Vladimir by your hair. It matters not to me which option you choose. Honestly, I hope you try to struggle. I love to provide a good rough struggle, it builds character.” The bounty hunter laughed as he remarked.

“You are not of my station, to even speak to me is to ensure your own painful death! You dare threaten me with physical violence! We shall see which one of us needs medical attention once this day is over. Old Elf, who’s prime has long since passed him by, what right do you have to even utter my name? You will be educated, foolish Drow, you will learn your place.”

=Learned Skill=

True Form – Level 100 (Common)

True Form is a genetic Draco skill, this skill allows members of the Draconic Races to change from one form to another. Draconic races can only masquerade as a humanoid species, this skill allows for total transformation or partial depending upon the will of the user.

<500 Aether per transformation>

As she was saying this, Annika grew about 7 inches and morphed into a more reptilian form, she jumped up to the ledge that held the Old Drow bounty hunter, before he could even move an inch, she simply bit him in the throat removing his esophagus, before he could even unsheathe his swords. The bounty hunter fell to his knees and Annika swiftly removed his head with her long sword, in the blink of an eye it was rolling down into the cave entrance, right past the charred bodies of the Draco royal guard. As the two remaining guards got their bearings it was too late as Annika had come down on them each with her long sword, catching the first in the back of the head and relieving him of that, then bisecting the following soldier all the way through until the poor man was split in two. Annika then turned to return to her friend and regain her human form.

After finishing with the immediate threat, the ladies retreated back into the cave with Erik, to begin the explaining.
