A voice sounded in my head, "As the man smashes the caterpillar, the system twis-"
"Ahaha!" So stupid; a system? Please.
"You are the most boring storyteller I've ever met" the only one other than my mom, though I wouldn't tell him that.
The pain sharpened for a moment, hah! Got through to him that one! I grinned.
"No wonder you only have one review!" Pain. "Inconsistent!" Pain. "Nonsensical!" Pain. Et cetera.

In the end, I grew bored of teasing him and laid down on the ground. "In the end he couldn't bear the pain and succumbed to system shock -" obnoxious prick "- as his body died, his soul returned to the cycle-" my new body began convulsing erratically, a shame that I made a mistake and let him take over but, fair is fair.
Black. Then my perception expanded until I could see the entirety of the physical world; the solar system, innumerable suns, black holes, even planets with conplex life. This is my universe, after all. It abruptly shrank, until all I could see were my body, the squished body of the caterpillar and a bit of the forest, in black and white 360 degree vision. How childish.
Gaia hovered over me, her body transparent, hands enveloping my soul, her face a complex expression. It's the first time she is cognizant of herself, and of the implanted personality I made for her. In hindsight, It was tough, micromanaging all the characters in my world when I've never learnt method acting before. Really, I just imagined her to be some mother figure. It'll be interesting to see what she'll become.
A shrouded figure in black, with a scythe twice as tall as his hunched body stepped up before her from behind a tree - and cleaved me in twain.
