Experimental poem

There’s nothing but a lingering hope’s flame, I wish I could smile but I won't blame, you my close friend from the past now not named. There is no blame nor hope, only a dream… How are you doing over the tall wall; the tallest and most impassible of all. The wall of times pass and forgetfulness, the loss of the past I won’t forget this. I still must say I wait for you, I do…

I’m waiting on the other side hopeless, I am begging you for one thing like this. Please talk to me once again; like back then? When dreams flew high and I was not alone, when we scoured the walls top like birds high, we could not have been happier… I hoped… I hope…

Did I make you happy my friends long gone? Are you waiting for me to take a step? Just a bit farther, just a bit closer, are you waiting for me, where I can’t see? I am blind and I am deaf, alone you left. I am saddened and you… I cannot say, for me, please live the brightest of your days.

Just a small request, live your very best. Until we meet again, or not, that’s fine. If it was up to me we’d be friends now, but clearly that isn’t reality, and so I see, I beg of a sole wish. That you live your brightest life from now on. There is nothing I want more you can see, nothing more that I can ask anyways.

Say the grass is greener on the other side? Are you over there having the time of your life? Will I ever see? Nothing to me; that has nothing to do with me, so smile. Smile with or without, I will be here now.

Waiting.
