The monsters we fear from space
Things of unknown race
Hiding in all sorts of place
Where are they based?
Our fears and horrors built from young
From our blood to our brains, it surely stung
The first time we were bitten by fear
Pain, sadness, grief its here
Above any horror from space
Our instincts kick in and our hearts race
The movment of things unknown
The thoughts of the unknown
I cannot condone,
I cannot accept
What I do not know unless
I was fearless but im not
None of us are,
It is just a thought
What is the nature of fear?
What is the nature of hope
We can overcome our fears
But against all? Nope!
Perhaps you can over come scare
This book's true home is on another platform. Check it out there for the real experience.
But can you overcome grief?
Your tears and sadness when you read?
That everything you've built up
That everything that's built you up
Was not enough
All shattered down
Can that grief and sadness not resound?
Its confounded
I'm astounded
That anyone can say they are brave
When there's so many kinds of fear... naive!
You always have a fear
Maybe not shock but something biting you in the rear
Maybe you have armor here
But there? You must be bare!
Even armor requires movment and air
Can you fight?
Are you all right?
These horrors far greater than out of sight?
Are you okay?
Can you see?
No matter how brave you best believe!
Theres fear!
Theres fright!
As long as you love you dont be all right!
Can you feel?
The clock ticking on?
One day you and your loved ones will be gone!
Can you say?
Can you lay?
Knowing that you're wasting away!
This fear
Its real
But don't be afraid to feel
A act of braveness is foolish
Trust in others or you'll be ghoulish
Without others we are weak
Even the bravest man is meak!
We are humans
We aren't alone
This foolish bravery you hold onto will be blown
And if you're alone? No matter how you shone
Alone you are
Alone
