Meeting.

"System can you help me practice using this as a reference?"

"No. You didn't get this book from the system space. If you want me to help you train, you need to spend AP.."

The system responded. Seeing the look of extreme confusion, he further elaborated,

"The book you have in your hands is a relic Item. It costs around 15 points just to learn the basic set, and it has a total of 7 more books. The main feature of this book is to strive for a perfect base, which is almost impossible. All the other 6 books are equally important."

"So what you are saying is that you currently can't teach me anything that isn't related to the knowledge that you possess?"

"Exactly. You can train by yourself, but till the time I don't get my database upgraded, I can't help you with anything that you can get from the outside."

"And when will that happen?"

The system sighed.

"Level 4."

The next day, Alex woke up early and proceeded and went back to the training grounds. He was training his balance, but he kept on losing concentration at the most important moments. Yesterday, he solely practiced getting his rhythm right, but his body and mind were not in sync.

Zira was observing him silently from some distance. She knew how easy it was for a child to lose concentration, but he didn't suffer from this problem. To her, this was very wierd.

The author's narrative has been misappropriated; report any instances of this story on Amazon.

At this moment, Alex looked just like her all those years ago, except that he was more hardworking and focused.

Zira came closer to him and expressed her appreciation, in an attempt to tease him. He didn't respond.

"Hello, Earth to Alex?"

She tried to call out to him, but it was as if he was in a trance. He was continuously jumping, and it was evident that he was in a zone, and he was ignoring everything and eveyone. Jump. Jump. Jump.

"Looks like this maniac won't stop unless I intervene." Therefore, to surprise him, she increased her bloodlust.

But, there was no change.

"Fine. I'll just beat you out of it."

She then threw out a punch at him, but she wasn't going to hit him. She just wanted to startle him out of his trance.

As soon as she tried that, he evaded her attack, and countered. Within a moment, she was on the ground, pinned by Alex.

He regained his mental faculties.

He saw her on the ground. And his hand was on her neck..

"How did this happen?"

Alex asked Zira after releasing her.

Zira saw his expression and sighed. She explained,

"You were in a trance due to your training. When I tried to get you out of it, Your body responded and considered me as a threat. You must have not noticed it, but you are developing basic reflexes."

The reason for this was simple, that his body was developing faster in terms of sensing and executing a response to external stimuli.

"Well, let's leave it at that, someone wants to meet you."

She knew that Alex wasn't ready to face the person in question, and was looking forward to teasing him when the time was appropriate regarding this meeting.

'Who is it?'

He thought to himself. Without any delay, he followed Zira back to the main hall of the mansion. He wanted to ask Zira about this meeting, but seeing the evil grin on her face, she refrained from doing so.

"Why is she here?"

In front of him was his mother, Sylvia. She had traveled from England to sort out the mess regarding the events associated with Roberts death. She was also here to tear the government a new one for their lack of cooperation regarding this mission..

"Is this how you greet your mother?"
