"Mission: The first takedown. (Complete)"
"Acquired exp:120. Acquire token, Higher grade skill lottery(Class related) and Ap:1"
"User has leveled up!" The system started ringing a popular tune from a classic game from his previous world which indicated that the character had leveled up. Alex however, didn't get the reference.
"Would you like to see what your current status looks like?" The system asked.
"Yes." Alex was exhausted mentally. He just wanted to get this over with.

Ap shop unlock!
All his fatigue was washed away. The shop was now active, and he had a wide grin on his face. This life wouldn't be as worthless as his last one, he thought.
"System, the token works as a slot machine, right?"
"Yes, User. Usually, there are fixed rates for what kind of rewards you can get, but because you practically saved a country, the skill you will be getting is set to either legendary or unique."
"Ok then. First, let's see if there is anything good in the Ap shop."
The interface of his stat bar changed, and in its place, there was a shop that had several items placed in it, according to their Ap cost.
There were legendary skills like x-ray vision, aimbot, curve shot, etc.
But their base price was 1000 ap...
The narrative has been illicitly obtained; should you discover it on Amazon, report the violation.
As of now, only 3 skills were available within his current budget and all of them were useless.
Keep clean: Common skill.1 ap
Able to keep the user clean after performing a kill, leaving no trace of blood from the body.
It doesn't keep his fingerprints off of things, so it's not useful.
Bargaining: Common skill.1 ap
Able to think and bargain like a merchant, albeit a poor one.
Rabbit limbs: Common skill 2 ap
Jumping height can be increased twofold for 2 hours, 2 chances per week.
He decided to keep his ap for now. Rabbit limbs was a good skill, but it wasn't good enough.
There was one skill that had caught his attention.
Weapons master. 25 ap required. uncommon skill.
Upgrade any 3 weapon proficiencies to the maximum. Also increases the rate of earning proficiency for all weapon classes.
He decided to save for this skill. It was worth the time and effort, plus he had time to earn those Ap.
Right now, he diverted his attention towards his reward,
"System, use the Higher grade skill lottery"
A slot machine appeared in the system space. It had a lever attached, and there was a screen in the machine, and there was probability shown on the two sides of the screen.
Unique skill. 20% Legendary. 80%
He then decided to pull the lever, and the screen started to show an arrow moving to and fro between the categories.
After continuing to do so for some time, the arrow stopped. It was pointing towards Legendary, which bummed him out a little, but because it was free, he couldn't complain.
"Acquired Legendary skill, Hyena's Heart."
Hyena's heart.
Increases metabolism without the change in the rate of cell aging. Also, induces hyper regeneration(3 times the average person), and stamina increase (ten times as fast as a normal person with training). No side effects in the user will be observed, and the rate of energy consumption without loss is set to 100 percent. (User can completely use all the energy from the food without wasting any of it).
"Good skill!"
Alex was overjoyed. This skill allowed him to be fast, efficient and provided an increase in so many vital areas.
"System, let's start the training now."
He started to feel the effects of the legendary skill on his body. It was almost intoxicating, because he was able to feel the energy coursing through his body, and he felt that his body had become stronger, flexible, and his senses had gotten sharper.
"Looks like I don't have to worry too much about my body development in the future."

"So, what do you think about the kid?"
Zira was currently seated in her room, along with Alice who had called visited her to discuss the events that had transpired previously.
"I am almost sure that he is one of those heaven-sent geniuses, who appear once in many millennia."
"I agree with your analogy, but I think that there is more to this than meets the eye."
Zira felt something was wrong. Alex was from the main assassin family, so every move of his had been recorded from his birth. Unfortunately, nothing pointed towards the sudden improvement of the mysterious young master, except for the fact that he had been forced into confinement and isolation while he was suffering from autophobia. It could have changed the way he thinks, but his complete transformation, from mind to body, didn't make sense.
"Should we inform the main family about this?" Zira asked.
She could just force the main family to make the young master spill his beans, but that could mean him being taken away from the Kramer family, making them lose the future master's support.
"Let's not contact the main family for the time being. We will try to keep him, train him, and make sure that we don't lose favor with him. He is the most talented child out of the four brothers, and we can ride off of his success to ensure that our family thrives in the future."
"As you say, sister. I just hope that this is the right choice."
Alice looked towards the fireplace. She looked a bit melancholic and said,
"We can only hope. It's not like we will ever be able to match up to the mistress anyway. At least we can make sure to develop this kid into a future powerhouse."
Zira nodded. The mistress left the responsibility of her son to them. They couldn't slack off on this duty.
"I have some doubts about him, so we will directly confront him tomorrow with some questions. Let's try to unravel his secrets bit by bit. After all, we have a lot of time."
