His hard work had paid off. Finally, level three.

The first book of the methods of movements series had been finished. It had helped with his control and improvement tremendously.

Over the last three years his mother had been the greatest surprise. She used to frequently visit him and help him understand the Methods of Movement. She also helped him train and spar, along with Alice and Zira.

Control, a new skill that he had acquired by mastering the exercises in the book. It was completely dependent on his ability to control his movement. As it was a skill that he had acquired without any help from the system, he didn't have much information about it. The system couldn't calculate the proficiency of this skill, but it could still display his rank base on its effects on the body.

He was ready to return the book back to Alice. Coincidentally, it was a very special day.

---------------------------------------------------

When he reached the hall room, Alice was waiting for him. She had been a big factor in his improvement, but even as her student, he still wasn't able to completely trust her. She was reliable, but her constant calm demeanor made her unreadable. And this had been the case for 3 years now. Unchanging, and unpredictable. A deadly combination.

"Are you nervous?"

Zira was the one to ask this question. Contrary to her elder sister, Alex could read her like a book now.

"What is there to be nervous about?"

He had been preparing for this day for weeks in advance.

"Make sure that you don't screw up."

He nodded. The identity of the guests was a secret from him, like always. His mother had this weird habit of just bringing people to meet him from other families. Except for the Zhao family, all the other families were more or less cool with each other. They had a rule that they could take missions together and split the rewards if they both wanted to take part in them, which made them work in cohesion from time to time.

"Young Master, the guests have arrived."

Tim arrived with the confirmation.

"I'll be right there."

--------------------------------

Outside the mansion,

"So this is where the mysterious young master has been training. Let's hope that the information about him has been accurate, I really don't like wasting my time."

Dima Smirnov. The little prince of the Smirnov family. He had turned 17 this year and was one of the strongest young generation assassins. However, the information given by his scouts had suggested that Alex was way more powerful than anyone his age. His potential had surpassed everyone from their current generation, but he wouldn't be sure until he saw it from his own eyes.

"I am just here for a fight. If he is as good as the reports suggest, I need to test just how good he is."

Zhao Jin. second in line with the Zhao family, his age is unknown. Although his body was that of a 13-year-old, his age was being hidden by the Zhao family, and there had been threats of war over this matter.

"Whatever. Anyone trained by Madam Sylvia has to be upto the task. Let's hope that he doesn't disappoint."

Claudia Grey. She was from the Grey family. and wanted to surpass Sylvia in the future as her successor. She was the second child of her family, but due to her elder sister's shaky origins, she was the first in line to inherit the throne of the head.

"..."

Kane had volunteered to go with his mother to assess his elder brother's situation. Others didn't care about him that much, but he still felt a bit guilty about the past. He himself had improved by leaps and bounds since their last meeting, so he was confident. He wanted to apologize to Alex and get that weight off his shoulders.

"Don't worry. All of you will get a chance to test him."

Just as she said that, a figure suddenly emerged from the mansion entrance..

It was a kid who was fairly tall, around 143 centimeters in height. His eyes were grey, and his hair was light brown. His was smiling towards them with confidence. His walk was noble, and he looked like a person who had many openings, all those openings looked like traps. He was a 10-year-old kid, but his aura was different.
